I asked the cashier whats good here? She said everything which was clearly a lie. My girlfriend and I split the red beans and rice and jambalaya. The red beans and rice was ok just missing flavor. The jambalaya was terrible, seriously. Make sure you steer clear of this over priced, fake cajun restaurant!

The girls that helped me were straight rude and very unfriendly. Thanks for the worst service from NOLA to California!

Just ate the crawfish étouffée. Best one so far since I have been in New Orleans. It was spicy and hardy. It was yummy. The service was awesome. He was so polite and they was still were greatI even when I had to change my order to take out. I will go back again for sure before my trip ends.

Stopped here on a rainy day for a bite to eat. What a delight for a very reasonable price. Had the Catfish Lefete which was delicious. So was the slaw, hush puppies and red beans and rice that came with the meal. I will eat here again if I have the opportunity.

Great food! Would recommend it if your in this area. Very kind and polite employees. Fast service and our orders were correct! The food was hot and fresh! We ordered the shrimp poboy and kids catfish, it was great! We’ll definitely return to this location:)

It saddens me when once wonderful restaurants fall down the trap of becoming a one employee McDonald’s assembly outfit. Greasy shrimp, and frozen cole slaw is not something that you want to try. I know this is a food court, but in one of the great food cities, New Orleans, this restaurant needs to rethink its entire existence, or find some way to get back to its roots.

Just mediocre to me. Don’t get your hopes up for anything you order to be AMAZING! The food sits in a warmer. So depending on the time you go its probably not fresh. The service is ok. I ate here twice hoping to be wowed the 2nd time but I wasn’t. The first time I ordered gumbo. Not bad but not great. My sisters gumbo is way better & she’s not from here. Today I decided to try the fried shrimp with red beans and rice. Again I wasn’t impressed. It was just mediocre. Maybe I expect to much… you tell me.

So… The personalities of the service leaves a lot to be desired, but the food is amazing. Great seafood gumbo, but the best soup by far was the chowder. Very creamy and texture was perfect. Loaded with good meaty substance, unlike a lot of other seafood restaurants. Had the crab étouffée, which was amazing. The price is a little bit much given the sizes of the servings, but I seem to think everything in this area is overpriced due to convenience. They also have Oysters on the Half-shell, but they’re not on the menu, so make sure to ask for Market Price.

I tried the sausage gumbo and fried gator appetizer. The flavors were very salty and bland. The gator had too much breading and not enough meat. The prices, as with all places in the mall, were high for what you get. However, this was the only place that stayed open after 4 or 5pm each day despite the mall and shops supposedly being open for several more hours. So, on that point, it beats its contemporaries.

For this being a place inside of the mall(sort of fast food) I enjoyed my grilled shrimp po-boy. It was very tasty, seasoned well and the bread was nice and toasty. I also tried the fried craw fish and that too was seasoned well and nicely fried crispy and a generous portion for the price.(i think $ 6).

Visited the full-on restaurant in Baton Rouge. This spot in the Riverwalk food court gives you a version of all the best LA food fast. It wasn’t as pricey as the sit-down restaurant, but they didn’t hold back on flavor. Had the grilled chicken poboy, with hushpuppies and fries. Delish. The bread-pudding…not so much.
