This is a pretty solid poboy/convenience store just across from Jefferson highway. They’re a small shop and really only do take out, the dine in options are basically sit on the sidewalk in front of the store. I’ve had the shrimp and catfish poboys here and they were both excellent. It’s a two person operation on the kitchen so things can get a little slow during the lunch rush. All of the sandwiches I had were made to order so I had to wait on the shrimp/chicken to get fried up; if you’re in a rush they have fried chicken hot and ready pretty much all of the time. Fries and burgers are available as well. Drink selections are the usual assortment of convenience store cabinets and a soda fountain. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth stopping by for lunch; their prices are reasonable at like 7 bucks for a 6″ poboy and a bottled drink. The staff are friendly and the food is quite good.
