Waited to review after a few cuts and have been very happy every time. Chris is an awesome dude with a great positive attitude. The space is industrial and barebones but very comfortable. The hair cut itself… Chris is amongst the best barbers in New Orleans. This guy is a true Master barber. Period. He listens to what you want done and then he tells you what he is going to do in order to get you the look you want. When your cut is done he hot shaves your neck and gives your neck a quick massage with aftershave. When he hands you the mirror to see the backside of your head he goes through what he will do next time you’re in so you can keep sculpting the look you want. A true professional. And he charges less than most of the other places I have been. There is nothing that should be holding someone back from getting a cut from Chris at Revival. Just do it and you won’t regret it.

This is the barber shop and barber I’ve been waiting for in New Orleans. My former barber, Jordan from Proper in Denver, CO, who was the previous best I’ve ever had, told me about Chris Hobbs, the proprietor of Driigh Revival, saying Chris was one of the best barber he knows. That was good enough for me. Chris is as good as advertised; he’s a master of the clipper and gave me the tightest cut I’ve had in New Orleans. I couldn’t be happier with my cut. On top of his skills, Chris is a super great guy, interesting and easy to talk to and really takes his time with the cut. I felt at home right away. The cuts are very reasonably priced. The space is great, just two chairs and some good looking locally designed menswear by Chris’s partner. I prefer a real mens barber shop to a salon and this place has that vibe without being even one bit pretentious. Driigh Revival was easy to get to and even has it’s own parking spaces right in it’s own lot. It’s right next to Courtyard Brewery, which I intend to check out when I get my next cut. Welcome to NOLA, Chris & Driigh Revival!
