I LOVETHISPLACE! Great casual, laid-back atmosphere, with live jamming sessions of awesome artists, both local and international. I came here with Bryan Lee and the Blues Power Band was partying it up. The band had a lot of soul and passion into the blues they were playing, and the sound was just beautiful. Literally, the best time and the best part of my whole NOLA trip. Be sure to check this place out and support the bands!!! +live music: D

I thought this place was a lot of fun. I didn’t actually order drinks from here… the bouncer outside was just trying to fill the place up so he was ushering people in. So I got to go in with my already purchased beverage to hang out. I thought this place was pretty cool! Seemed like a country bar out of place on Bourbon. Mechanical bull was hilarious, and country music that little bleach blond girls in boots were stomping around to. And not crazy crowded. on a Friday. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad!

This place was one of our favorite spots during our trip to New Orleans. The music was great, crowd was upbeat and the mechanical bull was hilarious!!! Great spot on Bourbon that I would not miss! At least I think so… after a few«jesters», the memories are hazy :)

Easy access on Bourbon St. Finished our night here after dinner and drinks on Bourbon St. Good music and good drinks and friendly staff. Plenty of comfortable seats as well.

I «Rode The Bull» here on Saturday night. Its in a great party location right on Bourbon Street. Everyone is wasted, partying, and having a good time. The club is awesome… they play country music and its a wild lively saloon. There is always a line for Riding The Bull. It costs $ 5.00 to ride the bull and you get three tries. You have to show your ID and sign a waiver. The day after riding the bull, I realized why you have to sign a waiver… my inner thighs were so sore, I could hardly walk, BUT I held ON! It took me a while to fall off so I rode that bull and tamed it! Yeee Haww!!! If you go to this club, you have to RIDETHEBULL!

Had a great time here… I hardly remember why. Something do to with conning my boss onto the bull riding machine next door(Bourbon Cowboy), the karaōke, or the many, many drinks consumed prior to coming. Just as an anecdote and nothing to do with the bar(I hope): right about the time the evening could have taken a turn for the worse, three heroin-skinny boys approached me and two of my friends and handed each of us a very suspicious-looking shot. We left immediately.

This was the first place we went to on Bourbon Street on our first night there, and we had a fantastic time. The service was fast and friendly, the karaōke was really fun(props to the hostess), and we all wound up really really drunk. They also have a mechanical bull, mini-bowling, and some other cool stuff. If you don’t like karaōke, then I’d stay away(it’s really loud), but if you do, then this place is a ton of fun, and a lot less crowded than Cat’s.

I dislike country music, but this place was probably the chillest place on Bourbon to go to. We ended up going here [at one point or another] each night we were in town, and would definitely visit on our next trip to New Orleans. We’ll have to man-up and ride the bull next time. PS — Watch out for the shot girls, some of them are trashy-trashy and belong at the Hustler Club [must be their day job] down the street!

Seriously, I’m pretty sure I had a great time here. It’s a little hazy, but the memory makes me smile so I’m going to go with it. Red velvet as far as they eye can see… really. On the walls, on the poofy sit-on ottoman thingies, on the giant hooker tall-back couch/seat of greatness. And saddle barstools. And a staff that has seen it all and will not kill you for acting a foo’. We were there with my sister’s group of friends on convention. They’re like Tupperware ladies, only they sell, ahem, TOYS. Toys for one’s naughty bits; they are a fun crowd, as one would imagine. One of the husbands had been to the demonstration of their company’s brand-new stripper pole. Same husband chose this night to become drunk FORTHEFIRSTTIMEEVER. Then proceeded to practice his mad pole dancing skilz on the pillar in the middle of the room. Moved on shortly thereafter to mechanical bullriding. No one blinked. Drinks were good, prices were right in line, bartender rocked. Sweet bouncer boy took our pictures and flirted as all good bouncers should. Two thumbs up. Oh, and my picture of a bunch of thirsty hands heading for grownup KoolAid? Taken here! Good times all around.

Drank some beers, watched my friend land on his ass trying to ride the bull, drank a few more beers, listened to country, saw some very unfortunate chaps and hot pants on a ridiculously young server, drank another beer and sang some Carrie Underwood karoke at 2am. Yeah, I’m Kelly Underwood now. Good times.

I suddenly enjoy country music while intoxicated. I also think I am capable of maintaining my cool on a mechanical bull… do it! Shots all around, ride the old bull while screaming to Dolly Parton, wishing you were in Nashville… who would have thought on Bourbon Street?

The bull riding was ridiculous! And the girls giving test tube shots in their chest… I just don’t get it. I don’t find that hot. One girl that worked there could ride forever with no hands. it was impressive. Her dancing however, not so impressive. She got up on the little stage thing — I felt bad for her. No rhythm at all! Poor thing. I do love the saddle stools though.
