I hadn’t been to Ballin’s since before Katrina… and then that was the one in the New Orleans Center (may it RIP). I was pleasantly surprised when I made a Christmas return to the Dante St. store. The sales women were very helpful and personable and the store was much larger than I thought.
They have everything from formal wear (maybe just because it’s carnival season) to casual wear and PJs. The clothing styles don’t completely mesh with my own, but I did find a couple of very cute jackets that I’m sure I’ll love for years to come. Plus right now is their big sale so they were 70% off which allowed me to purchase both rather than one.
