So I’m a regular here. They are my peeps. What drew me in when I first started to go there for a drink or dinner was the ambiance, the great selection of drinks, tapas and dinners and the friendly people who work there. The prices are very reasonable as well. As a new comer they were great but as a regular they treat us exceptionally. My favorites: the avocado toast is one of the best in the neighborhood for brunch. The bread pudding is divine and love the duck confit!

Great bar. Awesome lightening and decorations. It is small but not too crowded. Want to come back to try the food particularly the prosciutto. Has a cute window in the front to have a Drink in.

Loved the atmosphere here. Wine was great — especially at happy hour prices. Food was really good and the bartenders were so so lovely — they made our night!(Thanks David and Mari.)

Stumbled on this place when every other Nolita brunch place was packed to the brim on a Sunday. It’s a tiny bar and easy to miss so keep your eyes open. I was half expecting them to walk downstairs to cook(or pretend to like the clowns walking down faux stairs!), but amazed at how much they can whip up on what looks like 3 hot plates behind the bar. Really added to the intimacy and true NY charm. Had 1 or 2 people working, but wasn’t crazy packed for brunch(read: you weren’t rushed. Yay!). Will come back for the wine next time — they had a delicious and extensive list!

I was visiting NYC and happened upon YN. Charming, good food, great wine selection, excellent service and a calm atmosphere. Worth a detour!

This is one of my stop-in-after-work spots. They have a decent happy hour, with specials on wines and a few snacks(cheeses, little toasts). I’ve also had dinner here and I’m amazed by how much they accomplish behind the bar. The mussels in green curry are amazing!

I’ll start off by saying that I would return for drinks or coffee, I just wasn’t a huge fan of the food. The bacon was very fatty and undercooked. Cute space and very friendly service.

Small and charming. We walked in and the chef made room for us at the bar by asking others to move down a seat to squeeze out two for us. Although it was still early Friday evening, couple reds are out — as was the anchovy crostini. The mushroom and cheese crostini was good. The beef tartare is a pass — interesting to serve in a jar but don’t like that it was not freshly made. The brussels sprouts were super delicious, especially considering the place does not have a full kitchen. The sardines are delicious. The lamb sausages were flavorful. Robiola was mild, served with homemade jam.

Stopped in at YN for late night tea with girlfriends. Total hipster/mellow atmosphere.

At a glance it’s a cozy quaint bar but the real draw is their delicious food! Everything on the menu has tons of flavor. The burger is my favorite, very juicy and fresh. Ask for Gruyère Cheese on it.

Love this place. Been here twice, once during happy hour(4 – 7 everyday!) and once after a big meal, so both times, I wasn’t too hungry so just got some drinks. The bartender is very knowledgeable and helpful, so ask them if you’re unsure. The music is great here, the ambiance is romantic/cozy/perfect for a date night or even a 1on1 with a close friend. The waitstaff have never been pushy with upselling or kicking me out, which is extremely important in a wine bar. Tried some of their reds and whites and they’re exactly what I wanted each time. So tip them extra — they do a wonderful job.

Just had a glass of wine here. It’s an adorable, intimate(read: very small) place that’s decently priced. The bartender/staff was also super nice and had no problem that we lingered over the wine.

Cool place to stop in for a drink. On warm summer nights you can sit in the window with the fresh air and enjoy the ambiance.

Perfect hidden locale in downtown NYC to spend a candle lit evening with that person in your life. The music adds perfectly to the mood and ambiance of the cozy seating aresngemrnts. The menu is light yet balanced, personally the Goat cheese and fig is the ideal item that can be either an appetizer or Dessert

Breakfast was«OMG, this is better than grandma’s» type of delicious while the service and ambiance were über-pleasant. It’s really hard to pull off any style in such a small place but eating @ YN is like being in a van Gogh painting for a moment. The fact that a single cheery guy ran this joint, cooking at the bar, only adds to the charm — NYC if full of gems, and YN is easily my top 5.

Such an intimate space that really uses up this narrow venue to the max! Although we were certainly sitting in close corners with other patrons, I can definitely say this place is full of charm. The warm lit lighting and rustic décor certainly adds a specific ambiance to the small bar and seating area. They have an open kitchen which also doubles as the bar so it definitely provides a different experience. My family and I came here the other day to try somewhere new in Nolita. It’s very cute and homey and the food is also delicious albeit a little on the small side. Service that night was a tad slow, but everyone was super friendly and helpful. Our favorites of the night include the Salmon Pot Pie, Devils on Horseback appetizer, and the Osso Buco Pasta. Will have to be back to try more on the wine list and beers!

I can’t really judge this place on its food because I only had a few(read: many) glasses of wine. The wine selection was wonderful and the ambiance is great. The clientele was a bit snobby but that’s not YN’s fault. I had a wonderful, velvety Malbec and a crisp, tart Sauvignon Blanc. Unfortunately the names escape me, but ask the bartenders for suggestions. I also love the giant map that displays the wine sources. Great idea!

Great atmosphere, very good wine(we had the Malbec), and extremely friendly staff. We ordered food as well, and unfortunately it was sub-par. I got a savory crêpe(prosciutto, cheese and arugula) and after seeing all the olive oil on there I immediately regretted my decision… way too greasy! They were however very generous with the prosciutto! My friend ordered the duck, which was also on the greasier side, and I personally felt like it tasted re-heated and had obviously been pre-cooked :-/we decided to get a sweet crêpe for dessert, and sadly there was A WHOLEBUNCHOFOLIVEOIL on that too! Who puts olive oil on a strawberry Nutella crêpe with ice cream?! I will consider coming back, but definitely not for the food, I feel super fat and greasy right now :-S

They have this RIDICULOUSLY good pâté with fig jam, served on toast. Great salads. And the prosciutto di parma was on point. SO intimate. Just casual enough, with enough nooks and crannies in which to hide from the world. Cheers to that.
