UPDATE: the manager did call me back, left a message that I missed before posting the original post. The bed was delivered the next day, but I did get a call about having to pay additional charges for delivery the day of, because of the stairs going up my apartment(they were regular stairs leading up a brownstone). I refused to pay for the additional fee because my delivery was already over a month late, and they should have mentioned the fees when I made the purchase. Not adding on the day of the delivery when the delivery was already a month late.

I gave them a 2 star rating because the salesperson, Michelle was absolutely attentive and a professional. Otherwise I would have given them a 1 star rating. After searching for 4 months for a couch, I stumbled upon Wolf Home on my way home from work. They had a decent window display and I was sold on a beautiful couch that saw. I picked the fabric and paid in full and the couch was finished on time. Once the couch was dropped off to my apartment it was obvious that I had made an expensive mistake. To this day the coils make a lot of noise whenever I get up from the couch. It’s very uncomfortable and like I said, the coils make a lot of noise. I’ll never shop there again. I strongly suggest that you take your business elsewhere. Hope this review helps at least 1 person. Don’t want you to make the same expensive mistake I made. I’m ready to donate this couch and get a new one somewhere else.

We are extremely impressed with the staff at Wolf Home. We used Wolf Home at the suggestion of our decorator when decorating our NYC place in the Flatiron District. Wolf Home went above and beyond! We worked with Tamara, Eduardo and George Foxe, the installer. I could not have asked for a better group of people to work with… they were dynamic. We were especially impressed with George Foxe, the installer. He was not only considerate, respectful and patient, but he was also competent, well-organized and efficient as he wasted no time and went about his work neatly and intently. No mess was left behind. In fact, he even took the time to tweak an existing window treatment. Our apartment looks amazing because of the shades. We especially love the electric shade that is in our living room. I’m so glad we took the advice of George, the installer, and Tamara, to have it electrified. We were particularly impressed with the installation of the electric shade. George did an amazing job hiding the electric lines. He neatly blended the cords into a corner wall area. They are not noticeable. Our initial concern was that we would see electric cords and/or that he would have to open up the walls to install the electric line. I also have to point out that when George and his associate arrived at the building to install the shades, we discovered the building did not have the certificate of insurance in hand. George had to wait over an hour before he could be allowed in. He waited patiently. We later found out that he had to work until 7pm that evening because of the hold up at the front desk. Now that’s customer service!

I have been a customer of Wolf Home since it was called Silk Trading Company. I was always impressed with thier vast selection of amazing fabrics as well as thier limited lines of furnirure, custom curtains and pillows. As a designer the focus on fabrics was mazing considering how few great fabric venues remain in NYC. Over the years I watched the business model evolve and not always for the best. In the beginning it was fine. The basement of ABC home and carpet, where I originally discovered them was avast wonderland of isles of fabrics and as the custom drapes and furniture came it in was always tasteful cutting edge stuff. Even if I couldn’t afford a fabric or chair even if it wasn’t In Clients budget it was inspiring. When they moved into thier own street level shop It wasn’t as vast a collection of fabric and I really wasn’t so sure about the indentity they were going for but it still had a cutting edge feel unfortunately the staff seemd to go from healful to snotty with the move. Their look continued to evolve with more a focus on furniture but in the process the identity, style and merchandising hot lost really really lost. I having know there in ages until recently and I was incredibly saddened. As someone who has done meerchandising and design I can honestly say I have never seen such a poor looking store interior fir such high end product. It’s like they got a visuals person from Jennifer’s convertibles in NJ and someone from a local hospital to do the lighting and interiors, the fabrics have taken a back seat and the staging if the furniture couldn’t be sadder. The lighting is nightmarishly bright. With ABC and restoration hardware so close by there is no excuse for this. I hope Wolfe Home finds it’s way home and hires someone with vision and style to reimagine thier store interior merchandising and staging they have great product they deserve a better look. Please get a makeover Wolfe please. I will be there with bells on if you do. Oh and liberaces purple Barney sofa needs to go stat. There are very very few interiors that can or want to have a giant tufted purple velvet sofa dominate thier interior unless you are decorating a bordello. I say that with love get the interiors together please

This store has a big selection of fabrics and says they will do custom work. However, I asked for a quote and though I left my email and phone number they never called. I sort of wish I had not wasted my time going there, although it was helpful to go through the process of deciding what I wanted. I ended up getting my ottoman, curtains and pillows made at another place that was more interested in the job.

Everything about this store is absolutely stunning! I pass by it on the way home from work everyday and I end up frequently walking in and browsing all of the vibrant colored fabrics and pillows and décor accessories– they have such a large selection and the quality is exquisite. I decided to get a pair of custom drapes made for my new apartment and the staff was so kind and helpful. They had really great suggestions and helped me pick the PERFECT fabric for my place(I ended up choosing the 100% silk satin– in a beautiful turquoise color– Pool!) The measurements were exact and they were so thorough throughout the entire process. They were a pleasure to order from, and I am now eyeing some matching pillows! I will definitely be returning for any décor additions to my home.
