I was skeptical about coming here based on the reviews. I ordered lemon pepper chicken strips and fries with ranch online & the order was ready in about 15⁄20 minutes. When I got there I just wanted to make sure the ranch was there because they’re stingy with the sauce, they assured me it was there but of course it wasn’t. Luckily I checked before walking out, when I asked for it he double checked the bag as if he didn’t believe me. Other than that the food was good !

Wing Stop is a business that quickly won my affection. While I prefer the location in Brooklyn, the Harlem location generally provides tasty food that’s ready when they state that it will be. With that said, the business seems super disorganized. They should utilize their staff more effectively. If you need a flavor recommendation, I would suggest the Louisiana Rub for the traditional wings and the Parmesan Garlic and Lemon Pepper for the boneless.

I will not eat here again. The chicken I received was so crispy, but looked severely under cooked. It’s still a phenomenon to me. Ive eaten here before, but normally I would purchase a flavor of wing. After seeing these wings plain, it leaves so many unanswered questions like: Did the scientist or the egg come first? Are chickens even real anymore? Do I even want to eat mammals anymore? I’ve eaten wings in many restaurants, 3rd world countries, gogo clubs, and never in my life have I seen chicken look like this. Maybe I’m asking for too much or have too high an expectation. I’m not expecting free range, cage free chicken, but this bioengineered chicken is not for me. Unilocal needs a block button… this place keeps getting suggested and I get cold sweats thinking of the nightmare chicken.

The music is really good, the clientele is diverse. The food, Lol Hmm its so so. I got the garlic parmesean boneless wings & they tasted as if they dipped the wings in plain butter & drizzled grated parmesan cheese atop the wings from a cheap supermarket. The fries are also really salty. They got three stars thanks to their customer service & due to the fact that I received my food in a timely manner. Oh yea! The bleu cheese dipping sauce was also good.

After my last review I was contacted by the manager to give them another try and she offered me a free meal. I placed an order online showed up after the pick up time and still waited 10 minutes for my order. This place is not effective at what they do. The people are polite but offensive because they don’t value the time of others. There are now 3 wing places on 125st I’m going to give the other 2 a try since Wing Stop can’t seem to get it together when it comes down to having my food ready.

The wing stops in New York are disappointing. The Harlem location is no exception. They are doing a poor job of producing the same quality that wing stops offer in other markets. In this location the wings were over cooked. They were hard and dry! The fries were even worse. They were stale and I didn’t taste any of the the seasoning that usually makes wing stops gets delicious. Even the ranch that’s usually made on site lacked the flavor I’m used to. As someone who loves the wing stop brand, their expansion to the NYC market is a disgrace to their brand. They need to get some serious quality control at these locations or close them! I understand there are challenges with running a business in New York such as higher expenses but I would seriously rather not have one of my favorite chains here over having them here and the product being garbage. I’m so disappointed.

Came here Saturday with the bf. Wow i was super surprised. Personally im a big fan of Buffalo Wild Wings(which is also opening soon in Harlem) and i only knew of Wing Stop because of Rick Ross. The wait was 20 minutes(which is clearly stated on the register because everything is made to order). It was confusing at 1st on how exactly to order but once you figurw out the quantities you want and flavors all good. We picked a seat and our food was brought to us. Lo and behold we had like 2EXTRAORDERS we didnt even order! Thanks Jesus! Favorite Flavors: Hawaiian and BBQ. The atomic almost killed by bf LOL. Overall great time. CONS: we had to clean our table to sit down. But yhe workers were pretty busy since it was Saturday

New place in Harlem. Large selection of flavors and combo choices for traditional and boneless wings, as well as, tenders. I chose the original, mango habanero and teriyaki. They were all ok. The staff seemed friendly and it appeared by their demeanor that there were already some regulars at this newly opened spot. However, I was puzzled as to why my cashier asked me to sign a receipt, but didn’t offer a pen. I stood there for a couple of seconds and then just fumbled for one in my bag. She still didn’t offer. :/ The food came out much quicker than the anticipated wait time of 20 minutes. Good thing you can order online before coming in to avoid that wait. Overall, it’s a decent spot to get a lot if wings from… and a lot if them if you need.

I love this place! The customer service is amazing, the cashiers always interact with me and they know me by my name. The wings are very good. I visit this place about three times a week and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Keep up the good work!

I was very excited about a Wing Stop in Harlem because I love garlic parmesan wings, I love that I can have the option of only having flat pieces beause I hate drum sticks, and I loved that I had a new lunch option. So my boyfriend beat me here and ordered wings one day, he told me that though the interior was very nice the service and the food didnt match the space, but the last time he told me he didnt like a place I loved it so I decided to convince my co worker to try it out with me for lunch one day. So my boyfriend was right(and I hate to have to say that). The set up was really nice but why did I have to wait 25mins for wings and fries? Why does the person delivering the food to you keep your reciept? Why does the staff seem so uninterestred in the customers? Why is it okay for people to just sit in the establishment and play around but order no food(so many unanswered questions). Now to the food, it seems as though they forgot to add the garlic to my wings, it was all parmesan, and someone mistook the salt for sugar on my coworkers fries. The only great thing is the soda machine, I forgot there were so many different sodas available. I honeslty will never visit this location again, I cant wait for Buffalo Wild Wings to open up in Harlem

I’ve been here 3 times already in a week!!! I really enjoy the chicken being extremely fresh and made to order. If you haven’t tried the rolls I highly recommend you do as well as the lemon pepper and Louisiana rub wings. Be patient also!!! This location is fairly new so they’re a work in progress, but your chicken will always be hot!!! Great addition to the area and open til midnight BONUS!!!

I’ve experienced a lot of bad service in my life but this was outrageous. An hour for an order of wings is just absurd. I placed an order for 40 wings online at about 915 pm and was quoted a pick up time of 940 pm. I arrived at 950 and was told that it would be ready«soon». Another 30 minutes would pass, during which I would ask the manager or staff about my order every 3 minutes to get the same response, «soon». I finally got my order at 1020 pm. Here is why the delay is egregious: if I had known, when I arrived at 950, that the wings would not be ready for another 30 minutes, I would have requested a refund and gone elsewhere, because it was already super late and there were plenty of other options in the area. Instead, the manager kept me at the store for 30 minutes and my friend had to circle around the block over and over again while I waited in the store. At one point, someone actually accused me of misrepresenting the pick up time that was quoted by Wing Stop(probably because there was no other explanation for the delay). To top it all off, the wings were far from having the perfect quality and texture. The wings were over fried and dry, but sat in a pool of oil. The garlic parmesan wings, for example, were basically naked wings with a big clump of parmesan dumped on the few wings in the middle. Once again, I’ve been misled by hype.

Beyond disappointing. I was extremely excited about this location, hearing such great news & all the promo’s around for the big reveal(opened 6÷10÷2015). Let’s start: 1) Time. Wing Stop, as a chicken wing & fries place, «takes 20−25mins to make»(according to the staff) wings + fries. They do not tell you how long it’s going to take. You just order & wait for your name to be called(more like yelled across the place). Taking into account that it was lunchtime, there were 2 people in front of me it took me 15mins to get to the counter, then another 20mins for me to receive my food once ordered. There’s plenty of wing spots in Harlem that could have your food ready within 5mins. Good thing I have an hour lunch, I sparingly had 10mins to eat once I got back to my office(3 blocks away). 2) Customer Service. Might as well have me place my own order & wait for it to be finished, because it’s just as slow + like speaking to a robot. I swear no information is retained. Also, why do you take the customers receipts? What if I’m ordering for my office? What if I need that for expenses? It’s just very bizarre that the customer isn’t allowed to keep their receipt. 3) Food. I ordered the 8pc combo & fries — comes with 2 flavors &2 dips. Because it was Monday they were having a $ 0.60/cent special on boneless wings, so I ordered 12pc of those. Well my boneless wings had no sauce — half covered & lukewarm. My BBQ classic wings were good. Fries were lukewarm & my 2 co-workers and I compared the fact that we all had different amounts of fries. 4) Price. For an 8pc combo + fries + a drink it’s $ 11.69. Even with the $ 0.60/cent special for 12pc boneless it was $ 7.20. Also, even though my 8pc combo included(2) sauces I was charged $ 0.99 for my blue cheese(?). Totaled $ 21.72. I don’t understand how you open a location. In Harlem. A wings & fries spot. In a business district. And mess it up. It’s like an idiot proof business idea. Needless to say it was my first and last time visiting Wingstop. I’d more than happily visit the local Chinese restaurant or any other of the many places to pick up wings/fries on 125th. 2 Stars because the food — though not good — was edible. But the overall fiasco of today, not worth it. At all.

Disappointing and overrated. That sums up my experience at Wing Stop. The only aspect of my meal that was worth it was the french fries. I heard about the IPO last week and saw that Wing Stop opened several outlets in NYC including Harlem. So I went to check out and see if it was worth the hype. It’s not. Here’s why: 1) Wing Stop is supposed to be fast casual, similar to Chipotle style quality and times. Wing Stop took 20 minutes to make some chicken wings and fries. 20 minutes for chicken wings and fries? Any neighborhood chinese food spot can do that in less than 5. 2) Eight chicken wings, an order of french fries and a drink costing closer to fifteen dollars than ten? That’s a tall order, a lot to ask for, especially since… 3) The wings are hard, dry and rubbery! The name of your business is WINGSTOP. All you do is wings? How can you get that wrong? Apparently, several ways. I realize that many Harlemites like their chicken wings fried hard, but not everyone does, and not me. So they overfried the wings. They didn’t marinate the wings, so they were dry and somewhat tough to chew. They were not hot either, so they had been sitting for a few minutes(which added to the 20 minute wait). I’ll give them credit, the sauce I chose was pretty tasty, but it takes a lot more than just sauce to make good wings. Now the fries? They were pretty good. Fresh, crispy on the outside and hot and chewy on the inside — similar to a five guys fry. The restaurant dining area was nicely laid out with the airplane accents, multiple flat screens and a make your own soda kiosk with lots of different flavors(I had peach Sprite). But for the cost of the food, the time for the wait, and the lack of quality of your signature ingredient… that’s a solid thumbs down in my book. I’ll wait till the other wing spots in Harlem open, or maybe just order from my neighborhood chinese spot.

I like the new addition to the lunch rotation. It’s pricier but they are yummy. The wings are solid and crisp. They held up even after bringing it back from the restaurant. The thing that does it for me are the option of flavors. They have dry rub and wet sauce to choose from. I am sure you will find a flavor you like. The fries are best eaten at the restaurant. Everyone is friendly but there can be a wait… but good things come to those that wait.
