Tasteless grilled cheese and cold tomato soup. The person who made my sandwich was picking her arm scab and then touched my sandwich without gloves. I should not have eaten it! Over priced. NOTWORTHIT!

I’ve only been here a few times but the staff has been nothing short of cordial. I have been routinely surprised by how good the food is. The BLT I had, for instance, was so good, I could tell they care about their tomatoes. I had a shrimp sandwich that was a special and it was perfect. And oh my god, that peanut butter cookie. I’m giving five stars because for a chain restaurant in Manhattan, they really do excellent work there. I’ll be going a lot more.

I went here a few years ago and had a great sandwich. I loved it so much that I always wanted to eat here again. Their cookie sandwiches were great too. Finally, the opportunity to eat here again presented itself during breakfast time. I got the sweet pea and leek frittata. The frittata itself was amazing. The sweet peas had a beautiful flavor and I love the goat cheese, but I wish there was more. However, the bread was tough, but not pleasantly slow. A sandwich shop should have amazing bread, not below average. My boo wanted the croissant egg and cheese sandwich, but they were out of croissants, so they suggests focaccia bread. He said it was really dry, too. Their menu makes it look like they have a nice juice selection, but they were just bottled juices in the cooler. Overall, it fed us, but I was rather disappointed.

2.5 for decent ingredients but only okay sandwiches. Overpriced and not delicious, even though you would expect it to be. Same goes for the Ma Ze Dahr brownie served there — it looks great, you can taste the excellent ingredients, but beware this brownie is DRY with a powdery crumb! The saving grace is the chunks of chocolate, but come on, if I wanted solid chocolate I would just eat that instead. «Fresh creamery butter, Valrhona cocoa, flour, sugar, eggs, bittersweet chocolate, pure Madagascar vanilla extract, fleur de sel» should make an outstanding brownie, but this one does not do the ingredients justice. Head upstairs just outside to Bouchon to satisfy your chocolate craving instead.

Sadness. Welcome to Rockefeller Center. ‘WichCraft simple breakfast menu is compounded by the simple inept service and rude cooks. How can anyone screw up 2 well done egg and bacon sandwiches. One with cheese and one without. Yet, we got cold bacon on a croissant and the other with a vinegary salad on a roll. I guess when we ordered(2) of the same minus cheese in one, it must’ve confused them. When asked for a correction an attitude ensued. Still, the lady was shocked I spoke Spanish and thus corrected her attitude. I guess tourists should beware. Small wonder why NY’ers are considered so rude.

Come on Tom… Really? Admire your critiquing skills on TV… but you need to revisit your offerings at Wichcraft! Tried the chickpea/hummus sandwich and the PB&J, and both were rather ho hum. The bread was really DRY. And the presentation??? No garnishes, served on a very small plate! If you want a very nice meal for about the same price, try Blue Dog a couple blocks west! Beautiful, delicious food there!

After eating at a location in Vegas, I couldn’t get Colicchio’s staple of a sandwich shop out of my head. Their sandwiches are very gourmet. I opted for the more classic turkey/bacon/avocado on ciabatta which was excellent. My friend had the PB&J which really looked like the winner. She wouldn’t trade with me… Only thing kinda odd was the seating. We sat at a high top facing outward, staring right at people in line for the bathroom. Maybe it’s a NYC thing?

It’s not easy to find this place. I ordered the roast beef, which was OK. I loved the pickled kohlrabi and the aioli and bread, but the roast beef itself was not particularly good. It had a lot of gristle which I had to pull out! The flavor was incredibly ‘meh’ as well. For the price, I’d rather go to Potbelly!

Took them over 2 hours to deliver my food. Naturally, when I finally received it, it was cold and tasted awful. DON’T ORDERDELIVERY from this place.

The real deal is the zucchini and eggplant with mozz. I love it and rave about it, and maybe it’s because I’m not a native NYer(or I don’t know better), but I just love everything they have on their menu. If you’re looking for a sandwich in the Rockefeller Center, this is your place. –1 star for how hot it gets in there when it’s packed. Maybe poor ventilation? Come here if you want a sandwich. You know you want it.

This is another Midtown lunch time favorite. I’ve had both the free range roasted chicken with braised kale, pickled vegetables and spicy aioli on ciabatta and the slow-roasted Berkshire pork with Dijon mustard and bread and butter pickles on ciabatta. I’d say the pork sandwich is my favorite as all the flavors are well-balanced. The chicken one comes with a little too much mustard which is overpowering but it’s still a great sandwich. And the bread is super fresh!

We love the oatmeal here, it comes with nuts, dried fruits and cinnamon and is very tasty. The loss of stars comes from a girl on the registers named Emily/Abeny? She did not speak clearly, did not know her products well and gave us attitude when we corrected her on the oatmeal order. We asked for the fruit, nuts and cinnamon on the side and surely enough it came on it. I also asked for sliced banana to have on the side and she had No idea what sliced banana was. I had to explain visually what I meant and she said they don’t do that here but I have had it previous times. When the banana came it it was brown the whole way through. Check the photos! Don’t get me started on how long it took to come out. I was very annoyed.

My friend and I took a trip through Rockefeller Center(I forget why, because it was late night and most of the stores were closed). We wandered on over to Wichcraft to grab a bite to eat. We ordered the Roasted Turkey to share. The food came out pretty quickly and we decided to eat it just outside Wichcraft on the Rockefeller Center tables nearby. The place was empty and lights were partially shut off(hence the quality of the picture I posted hahaha). The sandwich was pretty good. I liked that they used thick slabs of turkey. They were also super generous with the bacon. I really enjoyed this sandwich. I’d definitely love to try their other sandwiches as well.

Tom, Tom Tom. You are a man of many talents but today’s «sammwich». You just had me at hello. I ordered the Slow-roasted Pork: — red cabbage, jalapenos & mustard on ciabatta roll. Outstanding work Tom! I finished with a Oatmeal«Wich». Yumm… Oh, I’ll be back. To judge you Tom. You better keep your A game up!

The prices were a little much, but hey, it’s NYC. If it’s cheap, it’s probably from a street cart. This is no street cart, that’s for sure. I had the veggie sandwich with the tomato soup. I was expecting a sweeter tomato soup with cream, but this was very basic. Once I adjusted my expectations, it was very delicious. Remember that the soup isn’t a bisque and you’ll be fine. The sandwich was amazing! Goat cheese, celery, and lettuce packed into a wonderful bread. Very fresh, and for me who hates celery I couldn’t even tell it was there. Yes, it was that good! Go in expecting to pay plenty but you get quality food for the cost. It was $ 20 for two of us here including two drinks, so just be mindful of your wallet!

I was so excited when I saw signs going up for Wichcraft in Rockefeller center since I’m a huge fan of Tom Colicchio from Top Chef. I was sorely disappointed by my mediocre sandwich. Since I’m a huge fan of eggplant, how could I resist the marinated eggplant, chickpea purée, roasted peppers & watercress on ciabatta roll. I watched as the person preparing it(which I’m sure is not a cook at all), slopped on a each prepared topping and threw it under a salamander to heat it. She took forever to make, but it’s appearance didn’t look very appetizing. I took a bite and was surprised that it was still cold in the middle. I couldn’t finish this shit on a bread no matter the expensive price I paid. I don’t think I’ll be trying this place again, unless someone highly recommends another choice of sandwich.

Everything I have tried here has been delicious. I would recommend the marinated eggplant sandwich, but other things are great too. Its a little expensive for lunch, but welcome to NYC baby! The people at this location are really nice, but it can get crowded. Also, the sides menu is a little sketchy, as in they never seem to have many sides that are on the menu. Today I was told that green beans are out of season, which is actually pretty refreshing to hear because it means they buy local – or at least buy the green beans local. But, it seems like they could update the menu to reflect this.

Overly overrated! I had the roasted turkey sandwich. For a close to $ 10 sandwich, there sure wasn’t a lot of it. It is very comparable to a $ 6 sandwich at any of the shops in Midtown and can quite possibly taste the same too. Avocado and bacon with roast turkey and carmelized onions. Nothing to brag about, really. Everything was fresh and good, but for this price and portion, I say go elsewhere. The high price tag might be attributed to the fact that you order and they bring you your food. But if that’s the only reason, I’d much rather wait for my own food and pay much less. I will never come back here again.

Who goes to Rockefeller Center during the holiday season? Idiots. I am an idiot. It seemed like a great lunch stop-off after swinging by Sephora to restock on Dior mascara, before hustling back to the office. One hour later I emerged with my coveted slow roasted pork sandwich with fontina. Yummy! Almost worth the wait and aggravation. Almost… Also they have San Pelligrino Limonata and Orangina! Very nice beverage selection. I’ve only ever eaten the pork sandwich but there are about 10 that look great to me on the menu. I will be back! AFTER the holidays are over.
