Subway in the subway. Good place to order a footlong on the go. Oven roasted chicken, yummy!

I mean, it’s just Subway right? It is what it is really, and I don’t have much to say about the food, as it’s always the same in every Subway. Service is quite good and efficient. So why the 3-star? Because it’s just Subway.

It’s crowded, but in fairness, they do their best to move the line along. Be prepared to wait if you arrive after 12pm sharp on a weekday. My biggest issue is that because of it’s location(between concourse & B, D, F, M station), some days it just feels like it is way to warm in this store to truly«Eat Fresh.» They are shockingly not open for breakfast, so if you prefer their microwave eggs to D&D’s then you are out of luck.

This is a standard Subway in terms of food. $ 5 footlongs… woot. However, this location’s service is pretty awesome. They can get crazy busy because of their location, but they always are quick, efficient and pleasant. If you have a hankering for Subway, this is a good location to hit up.

The line during lunch hour is absurd. Luckily, this place is super organized. They took your order for the bread and meat/cheese, heat it up while you wait and then start piling on the condiments you want. I would crack under pressure if I was them, I dont know how they dont. They havent forgotten or messed up my schedule yet. Super efficient.

Standard, relatively cheap(for lunch in Midtown), and nothing special. $ 5 foot long meatball subs are the same as everywhere since they standardize the number of meatballs they can give you. I asked for extra sauce, which made the sandwich soggy by the time I got back to the office, but also added more flavor(which was badly needed). The workers are polite and very efficient. One issue I had was that the credit card machine just happened to run out of paper that day and they said they couldn’t give me a receipt. When confirming it, I was offered a receipt, but declined because it was obvious that they were going to write a paper one. Since they swiped the credit card and there was no receipt, it’s always a good idea to make sure that the card was charged for the correct amount(which it was) but annoying to have to confirm. I will assume this was a one time issue.

$ 5 foot-long special –tuna sandwich w/extra mayo, cucumbers, olives, pickles, tomatoes, italian & herb wheat bread Asked for a cup of water and staff guy handed me an empty plastic cup with a staple in it! =[ Staff ain’t too friendly, but maybe it is for NY standards? Maybe I need to keep the perspective in my reviews that I’m not in Irvine. And rate upwards. Ehh, we’ll see.

Subway is pretty standard everywhere. Pre packaged meats, that smell of baking bread that is likely to stay with you all day and the hopes that the said bread will be fresh, and not stale. However, with this location, you’re pretty likely to end up with fresh bread because it is so busy. There is always a line outside the door during lunch hours, however, it moves very quickly. Subway is what I call«fill». It’s quick, easy and cheap — the way I like it. Of course there are plenty of places around the Rock that have better sandwiches, but this place is literally down the elevator and down some steps from my office, so it tends to win when I’m trying to decide on where to go. I had the new piziola sub last time(or whatever it’s called) and noticed that this Subway has sweet peppers, something they did not have back in Phoenix. They were awesome and made the sandwich, so I highly reccomend adding those on. Other than that, I think you’ve all been to a subway so you know what to expect. I mainly wrote this out of boredom at work and wanting to let you know not to be too scared of the line, it does move quick. Also, don’t expect to eat inside, it’s super small.

This location TINY… But SUPER packed during lunch hours… Every time I walk through the concourse, i smell the wonderful smell of the baked bread… sometimes, when I’m on my way to grab lunch somewhere else. the smell of bread coming from Subway will make me forget about what I was going to eat and I end up coming to grad a sandwich instead…
