Delish. It’s not necessarily NY style, but it’s always consistent and always flavorful. It has a slight cornmeal crust and funny names for the selections, but you can get whatever you want. I love it. Cheese is evenly melted and sticks to the bread, I don’t like the kind of pizza you bite into and you get a mouthful of cheese that’s slid off the crist!

Guy behind counter can’t keep track of orders, or rember of its to go or stay. pizza sucked as well. asked for sauce and the guy gave me a frozen container of tomato sauce. Total ripoff. Chef looked pissed at the counter guy as well.

I tried the mushroom pizza. They have a very specific, unique sauce, which gave personality to the pizza. The decorations were also a plus and made the experience more fun. What bothered me was the dough. A bit inconsistent. Half of it was hard, while the tip was really floppy. Couldn’t really fold the slice(ultimate test of a NY slice). But I liked the service and was well fed. Good 1:00 am snack.

So glad my friend introduced this spot to me! There were so many good things about Two Boots, that I’m not even sure where to start. Firstly, I’d like to commend them for the large variety of slices they have. From gluten free to vegan pizza, I feel like they have options for everyone! I was planning on having a heavy dessert so I wanted to go light on the pizza, i got the Mothers Earth slice which was topped with marinara sauce, bell peppers and mushroom on a whole wheat bread(greatly appreciated because I’ve limited white bread consumption), with no cheese. The pizza was piled with toppings and it was delicious but didn’t make me feel sluggish afterwards. I also had their chicken parmesan slider which is basically served on one of their HUGE garlic knots, and it was heavenly! They were even kind enough to give my friend and I a garlic knot to try. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a garlic knot so large in size, and it was also pleasantly delicious! The workers are friendly(even though the manager is kinda rude) and the ambience is unique. Definitely recommend it!

One of my favorite pizza places in the city! I love the atmosphere the most but the pizza is delicious. The white pizza is so good, but it does have A LOT of garlic, like basically big chunks. I love garlic so this was great but my sister thought it was a bit over powering. Their garlic knots are another one of my favorites and so cheap, I want to say they are like 3 for $ 2? Staff is always polite And the service is always fast. I’ve only ordered delivery once but my order was perfect and barely took anytime to get to my apartment.

I wish the Two Boots on Bleecker still existed. I used to order pizza from them for NYU events. Now I have to order from this Two Boots location and while deliveries are still prompt, they still respect tax exempt and take credit cards, and their customers(NYU students) are still, mostly, happy with their pies, I miss the dulcet tones of a familiar and friendly voice on the other line. The manager, Tony, from the Two Boots on Bleecker used to remember me. He would have respected an 11:45am delivery time for 3 pies, instead of delivering my order fifteen minutes earlier. Acquaintance and kindness go a long way in this age of anonymity.

It was so not as good as my other Unilocal friends described. The crust had a horrible aftertaste. The Bayou pizza was not as described. The crawfish was bland. The dinning was not the cleanest. It looked better than it tasted which was very disappointing!

For some reason, I didn’t like this Two Boots as much as the Jersey City location. I’d been here twice, but something just seems lacking. Maybe the turnover isn’t as good. The crust is just as grainy, and the toppings are just as unique, but I guess it’s missing that je né sais quoi(yes, I just dropped some French in my Unilocal review of a pizza place). That said, get a grandma slice. It’s one of their best. And get anything with sausage. It’s what they do best. Oh, and this location has an exclusive slice with beef and andouille meatballs. Get it. It’s good.

Two Boots Pizza is a very friendly, hippie themed franchise with locations all around the city. This location in particular is decorated with all sort of kitchy artwork, from old school B-grade ‘50s movie posters to paintings that will make you wonder if they slipped a little LSD into the pizza LOL. This franchise is also vegetarian and vegan friendly, several of their pies are either meat free with cheese, or entirely animal product free. I went simple today so I decided on a cheese slice with artichokes and mushrooms. It was nice, not top quality good but pleasant. They make the crust rather thin here, but its also crispy so its structurally sound enough to hold the pizza together. All in all its a great place to stop by when you’re craving pizza that’s a grade above the type of pizza you find at any mom & pop pizzaria.

Having tried the Earth Mother at their East Village location with a previous Eat24 promo, I dropped by this one with another for their Bayou Beast Small Pizza $ 10.50(Spiced shrimp, crawfish, andouille, jalapeño and mozzarella.). Staffer was pretty rude, and it’s far from a slice my grandparents would recognize, but the cornmeal crust and tasty toppings make for quite the guilty pleasure enjoyment on a snowy day. Pick from their glut of wild options online or in store(not sure how they scaled efficiciently with so many choices*), and grab a seat amidst equally kooky décor at the corner space if dining in. *Bayou Beast Small Pizza $ 10.50 Choice of Crust: Regular Choice of Sauce: Regular Choice of Cheese: Mozzarella Cheese Add a Side: No Thanks

Big fan of the Two Boots brand, and the West Village outlet doesn’t disappoint. Small little locale, but still offers up the same delicious pizza New Yorkers have come to love! It’s pretty much constantly crowded so just stop in for a quick bite if you’re roaming 7th Ave and feel the hunger pangs comin’ — also, great value for such large slices! And a decent variety too.

Fine. Slightly better than dominos and my friends enjoyed it but I couldn’t get through more than a slice. Maybe I’m just over American pizza slices.

Really good pizza. Like, the best. I heard about corn meal crust, and was not intrigued, but wow. I am basically a pizza expert/hog and I can tell you for sure Two Boots is da bomb. The tomato sauce and a kick and I am literally obsessed with it omg I want a pie right now. I am going to order a pie right now. They do add a serious amount of cheese on the plain so I sometimes asks for«light cheese» because life. Also, this one pie, I forgot the name, something funny, sausage is on it, yeah it’s really good too. There! Bangin’ pies, y’all.

I wanted Salad and pizza for dinner. I went to Lenny’s down the street to get my salad and then just stopped in to see if a Larry Tate was in the pizza window(Horayyyy it was). I got a slice to take home and heat in the over. Ok i will say that its WAYYY better to eat there and sit down or take on the go and eat it. Something about their magical ovens. I also grabbed one of the chocolate chip cookies($ 1) and really delicious when popped in the oven at home with a cold glass of milk. I was in heaven… I always enjoy my Larry Tate it was still delicious how I remember and crispy edges and what not.

Great pizza is not hard to find in NYC — it’s literally everywhere. But this place is definitely one of my favorite places for a slice. Cheap, fast AND good. Love the semolina crust. The Sicilian is also good — that’s a pizza I don’t generally favor but theirs is pretty hearty. Really enjoy the garlic knots as well. The place itself is quirky and charming, and the service is very good which adds to the experience. Small place but has some nice«window» seating where you can people watch. A solid option if you are in the neighborhood!

I came here after seeing a movie. The pizza was good. Nothing to rave over. There is limited seating unless you are okay with standing up to eat. I don’t mind coming back here. The location is not bad. Convenient and quaint.

Am I bowled over by the taste of their pizza? Nope. Do I love them for being a super fast spot to grab a quick bite when out and about in the West Village that’s a cut above a dollar slice? You betcha! Even amidst the Halloween throngs they keep up an amazingly efficient pace. The Sicilian slice is a good bet, but it’s dense and there’s risk of your crust not being able to hold up its end of the bargain. Be forewarned than you might end up resorting to a knife and fork. Be sure to notice the clever and quirky pop culture-ish labels for all their pizza varieties. Oh, and you can skip the«impulse buy» chocolate chip cookies on the counter. Experience has proven them to be hard as a rock. Womp womp.

I’ve been haunting this establishment for twenty years and couldn’t live without it. Near by is seedy 14th Street and 8th Street and West 4th. The village is an incredible eating experience. Thank you Two Boots for contributing to the decadent pizza world of New York City.

This Two Boots is one of my go to spots for a quick, inexpensive bite in the neighborhood. The pizza here is pretty good. It is not amazing, but it is definitely better than average. The crust always has a good mix of crunch and chewy, but other than that it is really just a solid place for slices. If you are gluten intolerant, they have gluten-free pizza. The space is on the corner of Greenwich and 7th Ave, so it is not exactly spacious with very little seating. I think it is also a bit pricey for slices, but I guess it is the West Village.

Lapin and I came here after having dinner at Perilla. We were still hungry and I remember eating here awhile back and loving it. Since, he loves pizza and he never had Two Boots, we figured how could we go wrong. The place was a bit busy but we lucky were able to find two seats near the window. We got a couple of regular slices and a soda. The delicious cornmeal dusted pizza filled our hearts and tummy in a way Perilla can never. We both agreed we should have just came here for dinner instead. While, Two Boots might seem like a regular pizzeria — it is a bit more pricey and has awesome specialty pizzas(which we are definitely coming back for more!)

A few of us were working late night in Chelsea and didn’t feel like going out to eat. So we settled on pizza from Two Boots as it was highly recommended by one of our colleagues. Through the magic of the Internet, we went ahead and ordered some garlic knots, The CBGB(Chicken, Broccoli, Garlic, Basil) Large Pizza, and two cream sodas. Then we waited. And we waited. Confirmed delivery of 11:57pm. We waited some more. The delivery guy shows up 20 minutes late and didn’t even have the courtesy to give us a call to let us know. I will address with Eat24 directly on this one. I was really impressed with the dipping sauce for the garlic knots. I ordered the jalapeño sauce and it was super good. I highly recommend that you order some extra sauces to go around. It goes great on the pizza as well. Slightly bummed that one of the garlic knots was burnt. The CBGB pizza was huge. I only ate a slice and was done. The slice of pizza was very filling and I did enjoy the flavors. I’m giving them a solid 3 stars setting aside the delivery issues. I’ll give them a try next time around when I’m in town. They’re definitely walking distance from the office and I’ll see if it tastes any different dining in.

Excellent, as always. $ 7.95 pie for two ppl delivered and then totally devoured. The size was big enough for two pizza-lovers. I love a plain cheese pie and theirs is THEBEST!!! Note: Order with Mild Sauce and this pie is similar to DiFara’s but that semolina crust is what make it «Two Boots». Great delivery!!!

Two words: EGGPLANT. SLIDERS. These little guys are just pockets of heaven. They took two of my favorite things in the world– garlic knots and Italian-style breaded eggplant– and converted them into 3 – 4 bite sliders. Can’t wait to get these again. I also had the classic grandma slice and it was pretty average relative to other NYC pizzerias. Good cheese and very crispy crust. Didn’t love the sauce personally. There are about 10 – 12 spots to sit inside and the service was very fast, but the place was pretty slow mid-afternoon on a weekday so I’ll have to come back at a peak meal time sometime. Lots of veggie options and great Latin music playing in the background! And as other reviews mentioned, this isn’t a touristy pizzeria. Lots of locals coming and going while I was there!

Decent pizza and friendly service, in a convenient location to grab a slice or two just off the 14th street subway. Tiny little corner space, but has a few tables and stools so you don’t have to fold and walk as soon as you get your pizza. They’ve got your regular cheese and pepperoni, as well as more creative options with different meats and veggies. Not the best pizza in the city, but a solid choice.

Great prices for unique combinations of pizza slices. I got the Vanguard with spicy meatballs and mozzarella and basil. Partner got The Bird with chicken, onions, and cheese. Named after Charlie Parker. Fast service whether you get takeout or dine in. Only about 15 spots inside.

Headline: Fresh ingredients, interesting pizza flavor combos, top 3 slices in the city, definitely check it out! Food: The sauce of the Grandma slice was the freshest I’ve tried in the city. Also loved the buffalo chicken slice. Ambiance: A few seats to sit down at, very casual

Not impressive especially for the price. A group of friends and I went to Two Boots ordered the Grandma slice. My friend called ahead an hour to order a fresh pie for us that would be there when we got there. The Grandma slice was well presented, with cheese underneath the layer of tomato sauce, almost like a backwards pizza with parmesan and basil garnish on top. the slice was $ 4 and nothting impressive, it did not taste fresh, especially since my friend had ordered for us ahead of time. The tomato sauce had no kick and there was not a generous amount of cheese especially for the price I paid. To me, it was just a crispy slice of pizza with a measely amount of topping with no flavor at all. Save your money and go elsewhere.
