The food is pretty good for brunch. Too bad I had to keep asking the waiter for the side that he kept forgetting to bring, and then promptly knocked a glass of water all over me, too. Great service, guys! Basically, it was overly packed, overly load, and had lackluster service.

Lick this bone: The pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich were deeelish. The $ 4 bloodies were strong as fuck. The skinny waiter was attentive and affable. That’s wassup.

Pretty good spot. Any spot that has 3 dollar margaritas is my place to always go. And food is good as well. ;)

Super nasty brunch! Will never return again! This place was dirty dirty! everything here was nasty, from the food, to the menu, the floors, bathroom, to the tables They need to tidy up a bit! I had the steak and eggs brunch. And my boyfriend had the beef ribs brunch. The steak was the worst steak I have ever had. It had no taste what so ever, and was dry and just yucky! they shouldn’t be serving that And their scrambled eggs were too gooey to be served My boyfriend’s «ribs» were really not«ribs», they were big chunks of super dry and bland beef! No flavors what so ever I can see the college kids like to come here to get their $ 1 dollar drinks on, but for me, I won’t be returning again

Con: Portions are small, food could taste better. Pros: Where to begin? 1. The people who work here are super nice. 2. Drinks and drink specials are amazing. I lost count of the amount of mojitos i had, that’s how good they were. 3. The prices are reasonable. 4. The atmosphere is excellent, not pretentious at all. I’ll be back for sure.

Delicious sides for the vegetarians. Excellent meat for the carnivores. The mojitos are good and cheap but small. Nice outdoor space.

I’ve never eaten food here, but after smelling that BBQ last night, I think I need to rectify that asapington!!! I only came here for a drink during happy hour($ 3 mojitos and margaritas). But sitting there smelling the plates of BBQ as they passed has me planning to come back soon! Wednesdays they have all you can eat ribs for $ 20 pp and karaōke. I’ll update my review once I’ve tasted the food.

$ 4 mojitos and margaritas are pretty hard to find, especially ones that taste as good as what we had here on a random Friday evening after work. The sliders were not that great but the barbeque/hot sauce concoction that they have in a ketchup bottle made up for it. I would come back for another round if I was in the area.

Happy Hour Mojitos and Margaritas for $ 3.90! I came here with a friend for their happy hour and some food. It was a weird hour around 4pm that we ate, not quite dinner but it’s not lunch either. The staff was friendly and the place was relatively quiet because of the odd hour we went. I ordered the veggie burger and it was good, the sweet potato fries are always a crowd pleaser. My friend ordered the beet salad and she was quite pleased as well. Portions are relatively big, too! The veggie burger came with cole slaw and I forget what else, overall pleasant experience. I will be back again for their wonderful happy hours~

Oh emm gee. I dont usually give lower than 3 stars but this place was really not good. The food was really bad. The drinks were nice and strong I guess they do that to make up for the lack of taste in the food. The macaroni tasted worse than macaroni from the box the associates brand. The turkey was dry. I could not stomach to finish the rest of my hot wings. The only thing that was decent to eat was the turkey burger my friend had. Overall we were all disappointed and would probably only return just for drinks.

I had the worst restaurant experience here. A dear friend and I wanted to find a place for good atmosphere and value priced drinks to catch up and enjoy our day but the only good thing that came from our time here was when we were greated and sat by a nice older gentleman. 1st, the men’s restroom was clogged up so I used the woman’s restroom(which had no handle on the door) 2nd, after waiting a while for our waiter(blondish guy) to stop by he didn’t even say«hello», who he was, etc. There was no greating. he simple stated«what can i bring you». 3rd, it was our first time here so when I ask him his opinion on what was good here or what their specialty was he said«everything. I’m very busy, I’ll come back when you’re ready». 4th, my friend and I decided to move to the bar because we didn’t want to be served by this waiter. We sat at the bar, and the bartender(tall, skinny, bearded guy) not once said hello or greeted us. Our old server dropped our check in front of us without saying anything and quickly walked away. The bartender picked up the check(still not saying anything to us), processed it and dropped it back(still never saying a word to us). I’m not exaggerating, because the bartender was wearing a shirt that said«I don’t speak icelandic» in icelandic and my friend(who is icelandic) wanted test him but never had the chance. 5th, we had finished our drink and were waiting/hoping to order another but the bartender was on his iPhone and walked passed us twice and went outside Either to smoke/call someone/or check his GRINDR/OkCupid app I’m sure. I can’t review the food, cause we never got any, but the service doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

I went here for brunch recently. I ordered the chicken and cheddar grits. Both were good, but they did not blow me away. The chicken was tender enough, but not really moist and the skin didn’t have great flavor. The grits were pretty good, though, which is hard to find north of the Mason-Dixon. Our waiter was terrific. He was very conscious of the fact that our unlimited beverage time was limited and was always there with a refill. I will go back to try other things and I suggest others check the place out.

I’ve only been here for brunch so I can’t speak to the rest of the menu but it is totally fine if you are looking for an all inclusive brunch location. Most of the things on the menu are 16 bucks and that includes unlimited mimosas/bloody mary’s. Watch out for the upcharges on a few menu items. Mimosas are refilled quickly but they go pretty light on the champagne. I had the chocolate chip strawberry pancakes and they came with scrambled eggs, it was pretty delicious but something I would pay 5 bucks for in Providence. Overall, if you are looking for a low key, really casual brunch with unlimited morning alcoholic beverages, this place will do just fine.

OMG, could this place get any worse? I gave them one more try and had ribs, beans and onion rings delivered last evening. The onion rings were evidently vintage, like OLD. They were as tough as leather and the batter soggy. The ribs were dry yet seemed undercooked at the same time. Old and reheated I have to assume. And the beans were tasy but oddly thick, like they were sitting in a big pot since last Thanksgiving. Run, don’t walk from this place to RUB Bbq on 23rd street for the good stuff. Come on, new management, get your act together.

1 star for the unlimited drinks at brunch 1 star for the friendly waitstaff ½ a star for the food Decided to come to BLP for an affordable boozy brunch with some girls and it did not disappoint. At 12:30PM on a Saturday, our group of six was seated without a wait.(Later on the place became pretty packed, so come early for your best bet at getting a seat.) Although the food was diner-esque at best, the drinks were plentiful and you have a choice of mimosas, bloody marys, and frozen margaritas for an hour. It sounds like a short period of time to get as inebriated as possible, but the waitstaff know what’s up and are armed with pitchers carrying the alcoholic beverages at any given time. Definitely not a fancy brunch spot, but it does the job.

After seeing the unlimited mimosas, I had to try out this place. Two of us in our party arrived before the third person. The hostess rudely told us «Like I told them. Once you sit down, the clock starts.» I told her I didn’t hear her tell them since I just walked into the door. I know what she meant; if we sat down, our friend may miss a few minutes of the one hour deal. As luck would have it, our friend showed up at the same time as the waiter, and the mimosas began. The deal was $ 14.95 for an entrée and one hour of unlimited mimosas, margaritas, or Bloody Marys, not bad. The funny thing is that besides the chicken and the pancakes, everything else has«add {insert $$ amount} here.» Each meal came with delicious mini cupcake muffins filled with jelly. I ordered the chicken and grits. The chicken left much to be desired. The breast was dry, and the seasoning was not that impressive. I must admit, that I am from the South, so I may be a little bit particular, but I had an open mind. The waiter was very attentive and filled our drinks without us having to call him after every drink. Even the hostess with whom we got off to a bad start brought drinks to us and was very friendly at the table. The one hour was definitely all I needed for drinks. This was a reasonably priced good time, and I’d probably try it gain.

the food is decent and appropriately priced. i’m a fan of the country fried chicken and mash with gravy, but what we really come here for are the $ 3.5 margaritas(& mojitos) all day every day. The drinks are strong, and after three during lunch, we tend to go back to work happier than usual. The drink special goes on all day, not just during happy hour. I always come here with a huge crowd of friends or coworkers and we never have to wait to get seated. They have karaōke nights on Tuesdays. It’s fun.

This place may be okay for happy hour or brunch, but it’s not a dinner destination. Brisket was cold and flavorless. Mac & cheese was elbow macaroni with some shredded cheese on top. dry and flavorless. Ribs were super tender, fall of the bone, but again, lacked flavor(seeing a pattern?) Onion rings were the best thing that we ordered. The drinks were okay, I ordered a margarita, rocks with salt, and was brought a frozen one that was part of their $ 3.50 happy hour special. It was strong, but I wish I would have been warned that it was frozen. blech! The service was friendly enough at first, but after we got our food we waiting a good 30 minutes before we ever saw our waiter again. Summary: I may go again for happy hour, but I would sit at the bar and skip the food!

For a Sunday brunch, we really didn’t have to wait long at all. We also got there kind of late… that might have something to do with it. The menu boasts bottomless Mimosas, Margaritas, or Bloody Marys, but only for one hour. Drink fast!!! The menu also boasts your choice of a meal with the bottomless drink of your choice for $ 14.95, but there were probably only three items on the menu for that price. All other items were either(+$ 1),(+$ 2),(+$ 3)…you get it. The food was alright. My Bloody Marys were super bland, but they did do the trick. Our server looked as though he never looked our way, but as we pounded our drinks, he always had a fresh, full glass ready to go. Didn’t catch his name, but my receipt says he’s «Server ID: 12.» He was my favorite part about this place, next to the restaurant name.

It was okay. Judging by the number of people at the restaurant, I figured it was decent food. I ordered a coke but I know… I KNOW… they gave me a pepsi. It all went kaput from there. The beef brisket was okay. I ordered a side of mac and cheese which was a dollar extra but I wonder why they did that? The mac and cheese was not good. Though I did like the corn bread. And the service was very nice. I was with another friend who needed to charge his laptop and they let him plug into their outlet by the cash register. But, it was just okay. I would have given them three stars had the waiter forewarned me that they only had pepsi. But when I asked for lemons, he gave me three pieces for each drink so all in all, it was fine.

Bone Lick Park is one of the better Carolina rib joints in NYC, and a go-to place in the West Village. I’ve eaten here for dinner many times. The atmosphere is diner-style festive and the wait staff is always friendly. Usually I get the pork ribs that just fall off the bone, tasty and flavorful! This time I tried Southern Fried Chicken(on my doctor’s no-no list, but some days I just have a fried chicken fix no matter what my doctor says). Usually I order dark meat because I don’t like dried overcooked white breast meat. I forgot to specify, but was served the most cooked-to-perfection moist breast meat ever. That’s hard to do in a fast moving place like Bone Lick. I had 3 pieces of chicken and had to give a piece to my friend. The onion ring appetizer(another no-no) was a huge platter of fresh cut onions, freshly battered and fried. I’m drooling as I type this. About the only disappointment was the collard greens & ham side dish that was too salty… oh and that we were the closest table to the bar, so had a lot of big behinds standing almost against our table. Not the most appetizing situation but bearable, especially on Halloween night! Service was excellent inspite of a full house and people waiting. Our waiter paid so much attention to our table that others seated next to us jokingly asked why were we getting the special treatment? LOL!
