This is by far the best pizza in Manhattan. They have the right ingredients including fresh buffalo mozzarella and parma ham and a great way to oven. I am Italian and consider this place authentic

Don’t bother! I went for dinner with my bf — I ordered the bolognese pasta and he had a pizza. My ragu was fairly tasteless and the pizza crust was soggy. We ordered diet cokes with the meal, which came out in small drinking glasses with ice. When we got the bill, they had cost $ 6 plus tax each. We were so surprised that they had he here to charge us $ 12 for diet cokes we brought it up to the manager, who basically said sorry, not sorry. There are so many great places in the WV. This one ain’t one of em.

Food was deeeelish. My mom and I went for lunch and shared the arugula salad, Margherita pizza, spaghetti with tomato sauce(Pomodorini), and the octopus with fregula. Everything was super delicious, and the leftovers were great the next day :) The octopus was really tender and flavorful. I have a feeling you could pick any menu item blindfolded and it would be amazing. The staff was friendly yet not overly attentive. The space is clean, comfortable, stylish and soothing.

Superb in all respects: food quality, presentation, service, menu variety. Our server Michael was very attentive and the manager Achille was no heel when it came to presenting and pouring the wine. What more can you ask for from an Italian restaurant in NYC? They even have stemware for wine that’s befitting a properly set table. Just go and try for yourself. What you’ll find is Italian cuisine in the Neapolitan(south of Italy) style. I particularly enjoyed the octopus. Perfectly prepared, tender… memorable. The linguine with fresh squid was lovely as well. Don’t head out the door until you’ve finished with a sampling of one of their superb desserts. My date and I tried the«Migliaccio Napoletano». No, I couldn’t pronounce it either to save my life but. since it was Achille’s favorite we got it. It’s a combination of a semolina lemon cake served with sorbetto di frutta. Picture moist firm … cake.(I like where you may have been going with that but that’s another review altogether). The cake is infused with tangy yet sweet lemon liquor that makes it slightly dense and spongelike. This is set alongside a bright & tart watermelon sorbet. But it is to Southern Italy what Tiramisu is to Northern Italy. The defining dessert and for me a key indicator of quality in any Italian restuarant.

I brought my mom and fiancé here for a bite to eat before seeing a show around the corner. It was a Saturday but we were eating early enough that a crowd wasn’t a problem. The interior is super cute and perfect for a romantic date spot! We started with a few glasses of their house made spritzer which were deliciously refreshing and not too sweet. We shared the house picked Salumi & Formaggi which was a decent size for a pick three and the cheese was served with a yummy almond honey concoction. We then ordered the Rigatoni Genovese(BYFAR the best dish of the three), the friarella pizza(good but just OK compared to the other main dishes), and the taggliatelle(very good). We are still talkng about the rigatoni a week later!

We went for brunch with friends. They have really good pizzas as well as gluten free pizzas. My husband ordered the Grass-fed NY steak, very good but small quantity with no side for $ 25…service was friendly but a bit slow. To sum up, very good food and nice place but kind of pricy, that’s why we give it a 3 stars.

Amazing experience! The manager Achiles was very welcoming and understanding as we were late to our reservation due to traffic. The staff from the server Anthony, manager and bussboy were very attentive. Anthony was very helpful with helping our table of 4 with food options, specially for the pasta course. If you go definitley try the pizzas wow they were outstanding. The brussell sprout one was so flavorful and the pastas after that were so worth the food coma. Started with a cheese platter sonwe all figured go big or go home and boy we were bombarded with great rustic flavors. Great cocktails and their signature bloody mary was a smooth twist on the italian side. The venue is very spacious, we were accomodated in a great corner with privacy and space and a view of the greenwich streets and whole view of the inside. Would definitly recomend this restaurant to my friends. Btw we had the Amarena aka Cherry and vanilla panacotta which was heaven in your tongue and the chocolate mousse with flourless cake and yes we almost fell asleep daydreaming as if we were in Naples. Wow thats the word to describe this experience.

Nice place, nice people, decent eats. Had the seared tuna appetizer with avocado and chilis and citrus — pretty straightforward, not thrilling but perfectly fine. Also the porchetta and mushroom pizza, which featured juicy pork and caramelized shrooms but could’ve used more salt and a little more time in the oven. Got a side of tomato sauce for dipping and was a little underwhelmed — a bit lacking in bright, fresh flavor. Overall a respectable weeknight spot if you live nearby.

Came here a while back and loved the place! After a quick massage just around the corner(Rhemedy by Rhed), I came to this place with a close friend. The pizzas were amazing! Great wine selection also! definitely worth coming!

I love this place and have been going to the rossopomodoros in the UK for years. The location is great and perfect for a date night in the west village. It’s great for date night or dinner with friends. The pizza is outstanding and the service is wonderful. They also have a great wine menu.

It was a Saturday night, we had No reservation and we were seated within 10 min. Our server was friendly and attentive even though the dining room was full. We started with the eggplant meatballs. I’m not a big fan of fried food, and these were a bit«over fried». Not the best, however my rigatoni alla Genovese was amazing. Bits of short ribs and sautéed onion ragout was delish. My husband ordered the pizza with prosciutto, spinach and parmigiano was also Very Good!!! Complimentary Proseco was a nice touch. We enjoyed an espresso and cappuccino and had a very pleasant night. Will definitely be back!

Went here with a big group and was amazed by the overall quality of both the service and the food. I ordered the Friarella pizza — a white pizza topped with chunks of italian sausage and a sautéed broccoli raab-esque green whose name I’m completely blanking on at the moment. The crust was charred to perfection without being overdone. It gave a great complexity to each bite of the pizza. My friend ordered the gnocchi which was excellent as well. Each bite was pillowy and flavorful. The wine paired perfectly with our meal(we went with the Cabernet, which was just rich enough but did not overwhelm the food at all). Our server, Bobby, was extremely attentive to our table and took extreme care to make sure that we were all satisfied with the experience. I will no doubt be back here soon to experience more of what this restaurant has to offer!

I was really excited to try this place, but sadly it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Service was a bit slow, took a while to have our order taken. They advised us they were short staffed. That was fine, it wasn’t painfully slow, but I could have used some water while waiting at least. I had very high expectations for the pizza here and while it was good, it wasn’t great. It was a little burned, which I would not have expected from a place like this. Maybe they were having an off night. In any event, I don’t plan on returning since it really did not meet my expectations and was a bit disappointing. The eggplant meatballs, however, were excellent. I would recommend getting those. Food tips: Eggplant«meat“balls

We stopped by for the $ 20pp endless pizza promo at this standalone offshoot of the Eataly OG. We arrived with an OT rez for an empty space and waited an unnecessarily long time near the oddly placed host stand in the lobby(there are 2 entrances), but were seated and greeted by a friendly waitress. We then notified her of the promo(which we’d also stated clearly on our OT rez) and they switched it up to slow service and constantly deliberately trying to shanghai our experience(brought out the wrong pie with the first 3 we ordered, changed the rules of it for pies 4 – 6, didn’t bring out the wrong pie they’d ordered so we could take it home like they assured us, etc.). Pizzas were mostly good, but the service was so offputting that we’d never return, especially at full price.

This place is my favorite for pizza in Manhattan. Very high quality ingredients, fresh mozzarella, and amazing sauce! The appetizers are really good too. Can get a bit loud in the dinning room. If you want great pizza go here!

This place has absolutely amazing food — I was thoroughly pleased! My boyfriend and I got the following: 1. App — CALAMARI E PATATE — grilled calamari, potato, basil, absolutely delicious. It’s an app that we shared but honestly I wanted the whole plate for myself. Really flavorful. 2. My boyfriend got the BROCCOLETTA pizza — with bits and pieces of brussel sprouts, some kind of cheese, and some damn good pancetta. So yummy. 3. I got the RIGATONIALLAGENOVESE which has short rib and onion ragu — although they definitely skimped out on the short rib, the onion ragu really made up for it. It was so rich and delicious and really made me enjoy my plate so much that I finished my entire dish in a matter of minutes. Service was great, and overall ambience was nice too, although the tables were a little too close to each other(it was actually hard not to eavesdrop on the people sitting next to us). All else aside, this place is still not a bad spot for a casual date night.

Great low key happy hour from 5 to 7pm! Been here for dinner, and for happy hour at the bar, and enjoyed both thoroughly. The food is delicious and reasonable. Service is good. It gets crowded during the dinner rush, but the staff is attentive and accommodating. Happy hour is a nice find in this neighborhood. $ 5 wine, beer, and aperol spritz, and $ 15 for a pizza or an appetizer sampler board. The bar area is pleasant and low key during happy hour. Will definitely be back!

3.5 I give it. Would have been more but the service was a bit slow. I guess our waiter was overwhelmed with all the tables he had because he was taking forever to come over to take our order. We must have sat there for a good 15 min before we were given a menu then another 20 minutes to get our order. Granted we order a bottle of wine but it did take a longer than it should have to take out order. We started with the summer squash salad then had their pizza, pasta & steak dishes. We all ate our dinner and had no complaints. Although it wasn’t memorable either… next time I may just go straight to Eatly for the real deal and quick service. I may give it another shot but not anytime soon.

Food: Good Service: Excellent Ambience: Very good Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. The staff was very helpful, polite and sweet. The place was dimly lit with mostly families or groups of friends Sitting on tables. We ordered Bruschetta as an appetizer followed by pasta bolognese and pizza with ramp, mozzarella and basil. We did not like the bruschetta it was rather bland and our toast was a little too charred. The rest of the food was good. To be fair the tables around us were very friendly and nice so they enhanced our experience. Overall a good experience

This new standalone restaurant version of the pizza spot in Eataly is at least for now much more pleasant and less packed with tourists. They have the same incredible pastas and pizzas without the hassle of going through the giant market, and in a much nicer, more relaxed atmosphere. The menu is pretty simple, with appetizers and greens to start, followed by pastas and then pizzas, with a few larger protein courses and some sides. We tried a little of everything except for the pricier entrees and the generic sounding sides: — Polpette Al Ragu($ 12 for 3) These were ok. Pretty standard meatballs. — Kale, Fennel, Walnuts, Apple($ 10) Really bored of kale. This was also just ok. — Rigatoni Genovese($ 18) This was awesome. There were more juicy, pulled apart pieces of delicious short rib than there were pieces of the also excellent rigatoni pasta. The chewy, fat pieces of rigatoni went perfectly with the very soft meat. — Indiavolita Pizza($ 16) This red sauce pie was incredible. Basically a fancy version of a pepperoni pizza, the Neapolitan style chewy crust was perfect. It made me want to try every single other pie from this section of the menu immediately. — Broccoletta($ 18) We also went for a pie from the white section, and this one topped with brussels sprouts, guanciale and crème fraîche was just as good. It’s definitely a good idea to try two pies, one from the red and one from the white section. I expected at least a run-of-the-mill Tiramisu or some kind of cake, but all they had was gelato available in 3 flavors. Therefore we skipped dessert and headed to Gansevoort Market instead for some much better options. I would definitely come back for some more pizza, but it looks like it will be pretty crowded for a bit. Maybe I’ll return in some time once that dies down and hopefully when they get some dessert options.
