I’ve had a regular cheese slice from Two Boots in the past and it was simply okay. Not bad, but also nothing to rave about. This was maybe one or two years ago. Recently I’ve been following a different kind of diet. I decided to try Two Boots again for their gluten free vegan pizza. I ordered the Earth Mother on gluten free crust with basil, red onion, roasted peppers, shiitake mushroom, roasted garlic, sweet red pepper pesto sauce, and daiya cheese(non-dairy). It was truly amazing… And for being able to accomplish such a difficult task, they get 5 stars! I recommend this combo. FYI, the gluten free crust is soooo good! If you’re looking for a gluten free/dairy free vegan option, get this! Trust me!

We needed a place to quickly grab a bite while running through the neighborhood. This popped up on Unilocal, and satisfied its purpose, effectively. The schtick with the pizza names is a little cheesy, but the pizza we sampled was tasty — definitely not a $ 0.99/slice-quality. Colorful and fun sitting area. Garlic knots were ample, fresh, and satisfying. Service was great! The guy who took our orders was engaging, friendly, and helpful — even with a chaotic order of 4 kids and three adults. He helped us, as well as the other customers feel welcome and comfortable. Not fancy, but fun. Great pizza. Excellent service. Not Times Square. ;-)

They are so nice and helpful at this location! Really adds to the experience. Great vegan, gluten-free pizza — they have Diaya cheese which is hard to find in NYC.

Two boots is my late night go to spot. I loved their Bird pizza. But last night’s delivery experience was terrible. I ordered the whole wheat Bird from seamless and added some extra toppings. The delivery took about 1hr40mins and the pizza came really disappointing. The crust was burnt at the edge and the bottom but soggy and doughy around the center. Maybe I was to blame for ordering whole wheat. But the pizza lacked flavor and the chicken was dry. Extra riccota doesn’t upgrade the taste. Actually I couldn’t taste its creamy texture and unique flavor at all.

I feel so bad giving this three! But I haven’t found their pizza that flavorful. This is a VERY popular spot! Locals and veterans of the city always point me here. It’s good pizza and they have a fun variety, the staff is nice too. Other than that… I don’t know what else to say… The posters alone might give it an extra star. But… I just don’t enjoy the food as much as I’d like; and for the price? Hm, maybe not again. Decent spot for a quick slice! Late at night I feel like this would be the perfect spot to have a date and really hit it off as you really delve deep into the other person’s life. You know? Like you really get to know them and you go on a walk, and even though the pizza wasn’t superb the company you had made the occasion something special and subsequently everything tasted better.

Eh horrible pizza to be brutally honest. Stopped by while heading out of NYC on a Sunday night while stuck in horrible traffic. Was expecting this to be great since I heard the Two Boots in Hoboken has amazing pizza. But disappointed. Bought two slices of plain, four total because I was with someone. Four slices and two canned sodas, $ 15. Whoa. Overpriced. There is a $ 1 spot pizza down the block that is literally perfect. The issue I had with this pizza was that it had wayyyyy too much cornmeal at the bottom of the pizza. You could mistake the cornmeal for the actual dough. There was so much of it it was gross, ruined the taste of the pizza. Also when they heated up the slices they burnt the pizza completely. The bottom was black and the top of the crust had black too. Horrible. Do not recommend !

Having used Eat24 codes at their downtown locations, I got their small cheese pizza(4 slices) delivered free via a GoFooji /VZW promo here. It’s definitely not worth trying this inventive spot for their rendition of a classic, but the cornmeal crust still gets me every time(I’ll just never admit that to my grandparents), and the 3 Garlic Knots weren’t bad either.

Quite simply, the reason I will never be Miss America :) It came late once and it came without olives once, and regardless, it is so good, I don’t even care. The cornmeal crust is perfect — not too light and not too doughy. Vegan pizza is hard to come by with vegan cheese, seriously. And the jalapeño pesto is life changing. Spicy and without the cow secretions that make me want to gag. Order them as they come, add toppings, don’t add toppings… Just eat this. Often.

Stopped by here after watching a show. Location is definitely great for showgoers or commuters from Port Authority. Open late, with quick and friendly service, and a few tables and booths to sit at. The décor is colorful and cultured. I got the animal slice and my boyfriend got the regular cheese slice. I’d say mine was decent, nothing mindblowing. The animal slice is a very thin crust with spinach and artichoke. It’s the healthier version of Artichoke Pizza.

just when im beginning to go stir crazy waiting for my pie, does the buzzer ring in the distance. i lept and ran out in glee. of course the pizza is lukewarm but one bite in and yesyesyesathousandtimesyes. was this bird amazing or what. golden dark toasty crust, layered with jalapeño buffalo chicken, sauce cheese and the toppings of the heaven. the medium is a solid 22 bucks with tip but its worth it on the first bite. an hours wait it was worth it. sex in my mouth you deserve this. so i just turned on the oven to 400 and i got the chipotle tobasco on standby. lets heat this shit up and have some fun.

Ordered a pizza here last night to go then I left to run a quick errand. They took a very long time and when I asked how much longer it would be they seemed to have forgotten my order. When I had to pay I was told total of $ 21 but on the menu it’s at $ 17.95 which shouldn’t be $ 21 after taxes. I got home and I opened it and it wasn’t as full as I would’ve liked it to be for medium pizza costing $ 21. My fiancé and I called two boots to ask them what the prices were and they told us that the menu had the wrong price on it, they have it for a dollar more in the system. Not sure that I will be going back there. Better service would have made the experience better and more toppings. I got the bayou pizza

In the Hell’s Kitchen area and wanting to get your pizza fix? Come down to Two Boots as the guys here won’t let you down. They have an expansive menu so you can get what you want, or get a slice of everything. Prices are not too bad, and the flavour of the pizza is even better. Nice fresh ingredients & cooked to perfection. They have limited seating & booths, but you usually can get a seat if you are eating in.

Stopped here late night after hitting up Rudy’s next door. This place came highly recommended but unfortunately it does not live up to the hype. With all the other pizza options available in the area you can steer clear of this place with zero regrets. I found the pizza bland and my wallet reported that it was expensive. The garlic knots were not very good they had virtually no garlic taste. Not terrible but nothing to write home about.

Depends on when you go. When it’s slower, you’re probably going to get a good pizza. When we go to the store and order there and state in person over and over again that we are Vegans — the pie is great and we get what we ask for. The problem is, for us, pizza is synonymous with delivery. We only live a few blocks away, but our deliveries have come cold and wrong almost every single time we have ordered from here in the past year. As people with a dairy allergy, we were super excited when they started offering Vegan options, but literally every time we have had our pizza delivered — it has shown up with regular cheese, wrong ingredients… and cold. We always call and they usually work it out by offering us another correct pizza. Since we usually wait about an hour for the first one, we opt to pick it up at the store the second time. So it usually takes us about 11⁄2 hours to actually get a pizza we can eat. I can say they are usually really nice about it, and always say it’s a mixup or miscommunication, but after awhile this excuse wears thin. To make matters worse, I wrote them a letter after the most recent incident of our pizza showing up cold and wrong — and never received a response. THATISBADCUSTOMERSERVICE and you should care more about your own mess-ups and making them right. When the pizza is good, it is our favorite — but it has become a joke in our house that we have to be prepared for the wrong pizza showing up whenever we order from here. Go somewhere else where they actually care.

Looking for a slice of pizza close to Port Authority, my husband and I turned to Two Boots. We went around midnight on a Saturday night and were able to each get a slice fairly quickly. The price per slice was decent too. So I had the Night Tripper which consisted of sun-dried tomatoes, roasted garlic and jalapeño pesto on a white pie. The jalapeño pesto had an excellent kick. The pizza just didn’t seem too fresh though. It was also way too crispy. It was take a bite and pierce part of your gums crispy. It was generally tasty, but could have been fresher and less painful to eat.

A friend suggested Two Boots for pizza so when we passed one in Hell’s Kitchen, we stopped in. The guy who greeted us was a bit pushy/aggressive(seriously chill people), but he let me charge my phone in the back, which was nice of him. Two Boots is supposed to be a Louisiana/Italy fusion — two boots… get it? ;) Pizza was pretty good. I got a vegan slice with fake cheese that was actually decent. The BBQ chicken was tasty. I never know if super thin NY pizza even has sauce on it, though, and that’s my favorite part. You can’t really SEE it underneath all that cheese. But regardless, I enjoyed.

I’m MAD… You know what? I will NOT wait 11 mins for«Larry Tate». I understand your busy, but I can’t physically wait when my LAST shuttle to NJ is coming in 15 mins. I don’t have time and Port Authority is a little bit of a walk. Something I can’t chance. I love larry tate, please have this pizza when I come every time. Next time I’m calling ahead. Overall it was busy and people were eating pizza and drink soda/pop. It was a great brisk walk from Port Authority, so if your in times square and want to enjoy a little Hells Kitchen area make it happen! Check it out.

Great neighborhood pizza joint… I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here; but I stay nearby often and see this being a go-to place for a quick snack/lunch/dinner in the future. Nice selection of pizza types, crusts etc… They literally have something for everyone. Prices are right and service is fast and friendly. Not much more to ask for!
