This place is awful. The food is an abomination. The atmosphere is grungy, and not in a good way. Very disappointing. I love Indian food so much that I even love bad or inauthentic Indian food, but this place is just the worst ever. Inedible.

I really liked this place when they first opened. Great food, fast delivery and good serving sizes. Unfortunately, in the last 2 months or so they’ve drastically reduced their serving sizes. From a full 2 servings per meal, it’s now a miserly one. This applies to all the curry/sauce based dishes. Their rice servings remain the same. The cost to serving size is a 2. With regards to taste, it is wholly middle of the road. Taste alone is 3.5. Speed of delivery is a 4. Décor is just fast food, and paper plates emphasize that. 3. Overall they’ve done themselves no justice with the serving size. This: is the new size. This is the old size.

I only ordered in 1 lamb bhuna kathi roll and samosas and boy were they salty! Not sure why the restaurant doesnt tone down the salt after reading all th other reviews. Oh well, the roll would have been amazing otherwise!

Don’t know much about Indian food, but I had the veggies with almond yogurt and it was so gooooood. The restaurant has strong smell of spices I literally had a headache and had to eat it elsewhere– a little to much for me, but would definitely go back for takeout

Not a fan at all. I ordered chicken tikka masala and it was basically tandoori chicken in a watery tomato gravy. I was quite disappointed because I purchased this to take over to the hospital across the street for a family member who wanted Indian food. Very disappointed.

«Fast food Indian» Ok so the food is not that great. But, entering this place you can see that this establishment is going to be a fast food type of restaurant. You, would not go into a McDonalds and expect prime cuts of meat. One should not have too high expectations for this place. That said, for the price point, this place is pretty reasonable. The weird thing is that all of the food kind of tastes the same. At least they show entertaining Bollywood movies and have decent lunch specials that will not break your piggybank.

The aloo fries are uh-mazing! such a unique twist to the american french fry. The parathas tasted yummy and homemade and the palak paneer was bombbb. Will definitely order from here again.

I’m sorry to give a 1 star but I recently tried Tumeric and found myself highly disappointed in the food. The QUALITY is FINE… I just was DISAPPOINTED in the fact that all my dishes basically tasted the same — very salty. There was no nuance in the seasoning. I ordered Makhni and a Masala and they basically both tasted the same. I also ordered a Dal Maharani and the Baingan Bharta which, once again, was highly highly salted. The woman I took the order from the phone was pleasant and I can’t complain about anything other than the specifics of the seasoning. I’ve ordered a lot of Indian cuisine from the area and I just came across this«new» establishment. Unfortunately, I will not return or can recommend.

I ate there. It was sad. Not a well thought out restaurant concept. Very confusing experience overall. I don’t like eating on paper plates. No reason to have table service when it’s practically self-service order and disposable plates. Food was«just okay» and edible at its best.

Fiery-spicy lamb vindaloo, good portions, and fast service makes this a good Indian option in the area. The garlic naan wasn’t anything special though, a quite overpriced. Overall, I’d rate it 3 ½ stars, but if I have to pick full stars I go with three. Don’t get me wrong — it’s not bad at all, but it’s not memorable either.

Ordered from here on Seamless and I’ve been having non-stop stomach aches and gastrointestinal issues(!) since I ordered it 2 days ago. Looks like turmeric has imported delhi belly to new york. I had ordered the chicken popcorn and omelette masala wrap which were both a bit soggy and tasteless. I also got the aloo fries on the side which actually seemed nice on the way down. I don’t know which of the 3 is the cause of my violent stomach reaction but hopefully this goes away soon!

This is probably a new restaurant. We got two chicken dishes delivered and found them to be really good. The rice which came along were also tasty — not the simple boiled white rice but some kind of yellow rice(probably food color on boiled rice!). I was tempted to give it more stars but just want to see it one or two more times as a lot of such restaurants have very different quality /taste each time you order. Let’s hope they keep the quality up

Pro: portions are plentiful Con: Not so much so for the price, they do not let you know that turmeric box is served for lunch time only. The Service is mediocre at best. The inbetween: It’s ok flavor — definitely have had better from other resturants but then again I’m an Indian girl from Queens. what do I know? lol

Food was great! I ordered delivery for chicken tikka masala(came with basmati rice) and garlic naan, and both were awesome! The tikka masala was very flavorful and tasted home made and the naan was soft and chewy. The delivery was very quick, the food was well packaged, and the woman who placed my order was very polite and attentive. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Amazing Chapathi Rolls. Equivalent/better than Kati ROll Company. I personally like their Chana Masala, Bhaingan Bhartha and Aloo Masala Rolls. Their Samosa Chaat is Woooow too! They nailed it. Finally a good Indian restaurant close to the place I work. I have their food to-go so cant really speak for the dine-in experience.

The food was amazing. I had the chicken makhni and the flavor was amazing! My friend ordered the lamb vindaloo and it was way too spicy for me so unless you are prepared for spice be forewarned. The staff was very friendly and the Bollywood music videos added to the quaint Indian décor. It’s a small place and inexpensive but everything is served on paper plates and the drinks are all bottles, though they will give you plastic cups with tap water if you ask for it. If you are looking for good Indian food and aren’t worried about going to a fancy restaurant this is a perfect place to go.

I don’t usually write reviews but this one comes right from my heart. This place has such good vibes ! The food always reminds me of home, the service and the staff is excellent and the food is worth every buck you spend. Sometimes I even get a complimentary tea, and to be honest it tastes better than what I usually have in Mumbai. The dal is heavenly. I’ve had Indian food all my life, and this is new yorks best, I can vouch for that.

Great food and brilliant seasoning, excellent portion size, good value for money. Ever since we moved to the neighbourhood we eat there at least once a week, trying different dishes each time. So far, we loved it all!

Delicious authentic food and friendly staff. The potatoes appetizer was delicious as was the chaat samosa. There are many vegetarian entrees and all were excellent, including the eggplant. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The only thing Id change are the paper plates and plastic spoons they use for everything.
