Today I tried one of Toasties breakfast wraps and it was delicious! I got the Los Huevos wrap and it was awesome. It was a decent portion and it was $ 5. I would definitely get breakfast from them again. It is affordable, fresh, and yummy!

absolutely the worst customer service i’ve experienced when ordering food– to date. I ordered on Seamless at 11:50 in the morning(typically do this to ensure i can get my lunch early). The ETA was 12:35 — 12:45, when 1o’clock rolled around and i was still without lunch i called. They told me that they had not even made my food yet and they would have it to me in ten minutes. Fine. Annoying, but fine. At 1:20 when I was still without food, i called again and they said it would be here in 10 minutes. My food arrived at 2 pm, without an apology, i had to call three(maybe four) times before it actually arrived here. Absolutely. The. Worst.

Tasty sandwiches although pretty heavy. Ordering, paying and collecting can sometimes be a bit of a shamble but it is worth it!

Ordered breakfast today from this Toasties(we usually order from Toasties East). Forgot a sandwich, and the ones that were sent had over easy eggs broken and leaking all over. The over easy platter was literally upside down and on it’s side and had to be sent back. When calling, they actually asked for the platter to be returned and wouldn’t replace the other sandwiches which were destroyed and covered in egg yolk. A complete mess, would never order from this Toasties again.

After being relocated by my job to midtown east, my new coworkers recommended Toasties for their salads and sandwiches. So finally the day before Thanksgiving, I finally gave it a try. I noticed alot of the reviews mentioned the long wait times so I conveniently picked a day when most people wouldn’t be at work. I tried their classic chicken sandwich which I really did enjoy. The chicken was still pretty moist and i’m such a sucker for melted mozzarella and roasted red peppers. It’s pretty typical midtown prices. Sandwich plus a drink was around $ 11.

Completely forgot the fact that two days ago it was national sandwich day; never say too late so I went up to toasties to get my sandwich. Great variety of selections, serving either hot or cold, Toasties was simply the perfect place to visit if you are a sandwich guy. Got the spicy chicken sandwich with whole wheat bread — liked the crispy bread and the hot sauce, very tasty. Waiting time can get really nasty here –coming during off-hours did not guarantee a quick delivery, so be prepared.

DONOTORDERDELIVERYFROMHERE! My office used to order from here every monday until now. The food is decent and they usually deliver quickly so this is why but considering there are a million other places in midtown to order from, I will be from now on. I have had it with their delivery scam, on two previous occasions the delivery person«did not have any change», not even a couple of dollars. Conveniently for them this has been in situations where they would get a huge tip or you wouldn’t give them enough, like $ 32 and you hand then $ 40 and ask for $ 4 back. Now what delivery person does not carry change??? Today, we ordered online because their menu advertises 10% off if you order from their website and not seamless. Well that is a HUGE scam. The email receipt confirmation stated we owed $ 39 which autopopluated a $ 5 tip. When the delivery man arrived he stated we owed $ 52. When we showed him the receipt it just shrugged. When we called the store, the lady said well the prices are different on the menu then they actually are and acted that we should know this for some reason. So there was no 10%, the menu prices are wrong, the confirmation email apparently doesn’t mean anything and I am supposed to tip on top of this nonsense??? So because we were starving and super busy and I didnt have time to reorder lunch we paid the difference but this will be the absolutely LAST time I order a thing from Toasties. I work in a large building and I have told every department in my building about this scam. Save yourself the hassle and order from somewhere else.

Stopped here for a salad and iced tea to go. Location was convenient for a late lunch – a few blocks from the office I was working from. Thank you for the pleasant experience, Toasties. Fresh ingredients and quick service. As a side note: My large salad was HUGE.(Only got through half!) Next time, I would likely order a Small. Flatbread came with the salad, which was a nice add-on. Will return for a quick bite next time I’m in town.

I get my breakfast here due to the close proximity to my job. I have also had the soups here which are decent. Overall, the food is decent-they are rather pricey(I guess everything in Midtown is) also they have a $ 5 minimum for credit and debit cards. The workers are usually friendly, but the long wait time is usually pretty long. I will continue to come here, but solely out of conveinience.

I’ve ordered from this Toasties quite a few times in the past. I like their mozzarella, tomato and basil sandwiches. Had one today. Then I wanted to wash it down with my bottled Starbucks Frapp, also ordered from Toasties. Well… As I took it outta the bag, I couldn’t help but notice these brown spots on the lid. Upon closer inspection, evidence of bugs(see pix). I’m so grossed out right now… No words.

The sandwiches are pretty good here, but they’re just«pretty good.» I don’t think that my sandwich made up for the price I paid for it. I think you can find better quality sandwiches are more boutique delis however.

Very pricey for what you’re getting. Selection mediocre. But it’s a quick and usually line-free lunch option if you’re in a hurry.

Standard lunch spot in midtown that has your basic salad station, hot station and sandwich station. Wait times are a bit longer than other similar spots in the area, but otherwise this is a fine.

This is a review for a seamless lunch order for Toasties. I got the salmon platter as it was the second most highly rated on seamless after Toasties’ chicken platter. First off, the salmon had so many different seasonings that upon first glance it looks like some sort of knish or some other breaded meat. The salmon was just OK. You get to choose 2 different sides along with the platter so I chose steamed veggies and the«vegetable of the day». The veggie of the day turned out to be overly creamy and soggy creamed spinach. Ew. If you’re going to advertise vegetable of the day, don’t give me yesterday’s spinach dumped in globs of cream and cheese and call it your«vegetable of the day.» I have not physically been to this Toasties nor have I tried their sandwiches which I hear are good, so it’s be unfair to give a one star just based on this platter. Although I’m skeptical of ordering again from here.

I wish I could rate them two and a half stars. Toasties has several locations throughout NYC and when this location wasn’t here, I used to walk over to 54th and 3rd Avenue for my sandwich fix. Compared to your typical midtown deli they make some really great sandwiches. They’re usually neatly made with care and full with meats and toppings and I feel like you really get what you pay for here. Their total menu usually consists of salad, soups, cold/hot sandwiches/wraps/heroes, and a carving station. I’d rate other toasties locations higher, but this location in particular can be a total disaster during high tide if you don’t know the process on how to order and pay. The layout of this place doesn’t make a lot of sense, the lines are a sloppy mess, and their cash register is probably in the worst possible place. Whoever planned this layout made some really poor decisions as it’s the least effective way of getting people in and out. Maybe most irritating are the cash register folks who are screaming«next!» when the person who just paid has barely been handed back their credit card/change/receipt and are still collecting their belongings.(In fairness, if you go during off-hours, they are a lot calmer and rational.) They think they are making the line move faster but in reality they are just adding to the already crazy craziness in this establishment. I rounded up to three stars because the guys at the carving station used to see me almost every day and they knew my usual order. It got to the point where if I wanted something different than my usual, I felt like I was throwing a wrench in their process. Considering the circumstances, those dudes are super friendly and still find a way to maintain their efficiency despite their long lines.

I went back-to-back days to get a better feeling of this place before I reviewed it. It is not fair to give a place a so-so review on one experience alone especially if you see potential. Got the spicy roast-beef sandwich yesterday. Had roast beef, pepper jack cheese, hot peppers, hot sauce. It was whatever I mean it’s better then going to café metro or oxford café and picking up a sandwich. Unfortunately though this place is pricey and the quality doesn’t match the standards. Was ready to give it 2.5 stars after yesterday, but I went back today and got the spicy pastrami which was a little better. Good enough to warrant a final 3 star rating instead of 2. The bread is not toasted, which I prefer because if it’s too toasted it distracts from the easy eating experience. Pastrami was flavorless, but that’s what I get for not going to an actual deli in Manhattan for pastrami. You can probably go to literally 50 places in Manhattan that have pastrami that his head and shoulders above Toasties. The coleslaw on the sandwich was good and the chipotle honey sauce was great although maybe a little too spicy which distracted from the meat and coleslaw during the aftertaste. All in all it’s decent, but I won’t be going back often for the price, maybe once every couple months to try a new sando. Do not go between 11 and 1 or you’ll be swamped by people. They do a good job though of keeping the service relatively quick for the volume of people. If you go after 1:30 you’ll be in and out in 5 minutes. very friendly staff, which is hard to find in the various business districts of Manhattan these days.

Their highly raved hot pastrami and corned beef sandwich was completely ruined by over-dose on the Russian dressing. The bread roll was half-heartedly soggy. Not to mention the service was bad… Also, the shop has interior design issues — what the heck going on with the window by those seats? You sit there but you have NOVIEW just wall… One most important takeway on the sandwiches: stop using TOOMUCH dressing on food! we are not there to drink your dressing, but to eat your food, at the minimum, would you please explicitly say the dressing level in the sandwich is controllable? I ended up throwing this overpriced $ 9 sandwich away, went to the Subway next door and grabbed a Spicy Italian on whole wheat. Guess what, it was A LOTBETTER!

On a rainy weekday afternoon, I was on my way to lunch to grab a salad but somehow made a sudden turn and landed myself in Toasties. I’ve heard good things about Toasties and I was glad that when I went, there were no lines. I ordered a Classic Grilled Chicken Wrap, there were so many other options but I guess I’ll just have to return to satisfy my curiosity. The wrap was hot and toasty when I took a bite from it back in my office. The tiny wrap might look like it won’t fill you, but it sure does. The wrap consisted of chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers and mozzarella cheese. I realized there were no sauce or condiments added to my wrap, it definitely wasn’t needed since the chicken and onions were sauteed and seasoned perfectly. A great spot for lunch indeed.

I went to this Toasties, which is on E 52nd St, and not on Lex(it’s between Lex &3rd Ave), for a quick Sat morning sammie. I ordered(see picture): Union Square on Rye($ 8.25) — grilled crack pepper turkey, Monterey jack pepper cheese, romaine lettuce, & Dijon mustard The bread wasn’t toasted, and it did take a big long for my sandwich to be prepared even though barely anyone else was there. The sandwich itself was good. This particular Toasties does not carry Pizza like the one near 5th Ave on E 48th St.

I’m generally a pretty good Toasties fan(especially of the Third Ave/mid50s location), but I’m sad to say this one just doesn’t live up to the others. It does the job — has sandwiches, make your own salads, and juices galore plus baked goodies, but it doesn’t seem to have the same choices as the other locations(no pre-designed salads, didn’t see the rotisserie/carving station, hot foods). The staff are ok, but definitely don’t seem to care much about the customer, and there is little for seating(just a short bar with stools). I’ll have to say that I did enjoy having pan-roasted brussel sprouts as a salad option, however.
