30 minutes before closing, the espresso machines are already shut down. But you can have hot or iced coffee that’s probably been sitting, already made, for a while. Um… Pass.

Wow, compared to other Think coffees I wonder if this place even wants customers! No matter when I come in I’m treated like I’m interrupting the employees and are irritated at having to do their job! I work in the service industry and always tip well even for coffee but why tip this bad attitude and service?

Priced like every other espresso shop. However, the barista we had was clueless. Cappuccino had 50% foam and there was nothing micro about about it. Espresso was over extracted. Go to Fika across the road.

Friendly staff, nice selection of espresso. Visited establishment multiple mornings because of convenience, strong coffee, and good service.

No wifi, no plugs. I respect coffee houses that are trying to be artisan and throw back to the days of conversation but really, it’s 2015 and everyone works. Two stars because the coffee is solid. But you’re missing three because there’s no reason to spend more than 5 minutes here.

Decent coffee but overpriced, not much better than Starbucks, and no free wifi. In NYC wifi should be a standard for coffee shops like this, where people come to work. I only came here for a Skype meeting, and when I discovered there’s no wifi the barista would not give me a refund for the latte which I hardly touched. I’ll be going to the Telegraph Café down the street to work instead, I suggest you do the same.

The Stygian abyss that is this coffee house is one that I for some reason end up at for work reasons far too often. Gross is the coffee, burned, weird-tasting milk. Ugly are the surroundings, constantly full of laptop-toting transients with the same cup of coffee they’ve been drinking for three hours, so sitting down is impossible. Cramped are the surroundings, so much so that moving around is like shuffling through a strange hobbit hole. This street is sad enough as it is. Think Coffee is the stamp of an eternal cases of the Mondays.

A friend from out of town wanted to stop here-she was not a Starbucks fan and wanted to try something different. She got an iced coffee which she said was very good and I go a double espresso. The service was prompt and the sitting area was comfortable. I would recommend and return,

The customer service here is terrible. They replaced the gift cards with updated ones and couldn’t swipe the old ones and sarcastically remarked that you should be remembering all the balances on your cards. I would like to see any of the baristas put to that test. Generally, Think has good coffee but I would skip out on this location as there are several in the area.

Coffeed vs. Think Coffee: Coffee Comparisons Chapter 1. Two coffee shops less than a block from each other. Which will earn my return business?! Price: 12 oz drip coffee — Coffeed $ 2.50, Think Coffee $ 2.50 16 oz drip coffee — Coffeed $ 3.00, Think Coffee $ 2.75 Winner: Think Coffee(by a smidge) Temperature: Coffeed: SUPERHOT Think Coffee: SUPERHOT Winner: Draw Quality: Coffeed: Decent. Had a bit of a different taste(this is a positive) so I could tell it wasn’t office coffee. Think Coffee: Tasted like office coffee. Winner: Coffeed Atmosphere: Coffeed: Took it to go Think Coffee: Took it to go Well there you have it! Coffeed is the winner, but I won’t go back to either because there are better spots in the neighborhood and neither was great. Until next time, signing off from«Coffee Comparisons»!

Coffee is decent. Ambience is nice and friendly. Their yogurt and granola parfaits and almond croissants are alright — not my favorite, but not bad.

I love Think Coffee. So it’s disappointing when you encounter employees who don’t live up to the brand. Sorry guys but today(7÷25÷2015) it just wasn’t so busy that the three of you couldn’t restock the bathroom with toilet paper. So when I politely ask the employee closest to the bathroom, the only girl working(at 2:15pm, look it up managers if you care), if she has more toilet paper and her response is a very snide«not in my hands, we keep it downstairs» it got my blood boiling. I don’t care where you keep it and I asked nicely so you respond nicely. Her only response should be ‘sorry there is none there, let me go grab you some right now’. And when she did get it no acknowledgement, no nothing. It was clear I was a complete bother to her and I just felt uncomfortable after. Listen, at the end of the day I can get a good cup of coffee and a bunch of places. And while I hate Starbucks coffee they still have a great experience. And if you’re employees are not 100% on board with giving me a good experience then I’m gone. I don’t care how good the coffee is.

Smaller than most of the Think Coffee shops in the city. Coffee was off(tasted burnt), but I do love their zucchini cream cheese muffin. Servers were fine.

Stopped in for a quick grab and go drink. I got a hot chocolate with an extra pump of vanilla and whipped cream on the top. Perfect combination of favors. Employees were friendly and talkative and interacted with each other which was nice to see. It’s great to spend money somewhere that you can tell is an enjoyable place to work and spend time. Biodegradable cups and lids which really satisfied my ‘be green’ heart! Would definitely come here again!

Think Coffee is a cute coffee shop nestled along 6th avenue in Chelsea. I came across this gem on my way to my beloved City Bakery. There was a minimalistic aesthetic resonating from the storefront and I made a mental note to check it out in the near future. Fast forward 3 days and I’m back again checking out what’s good here so I could write reviews again and think about whether a return trip here is actually warranted. I have been enjoying the redeye here priced at 3 $ for a small size. The next size up is an additional 75 cents. Anymore and you’ll be off wall. The store itself has a small footprint, with the depth of the store at least half the size of the indie coffee shops I typically frequent around the city. The layout is effective and seating is strategically arranged while maintaining the highest level of comfort. All seating is dark brown leather wrapped with either marble or wood table accompanying. Plusses are the convenient location to PATH and subway. There’s also a daily tip question that has 2 tins setup with the answer to a question. For example one day it had the option between democrat or republican. Con is that there is no free WiFi at this location, which is important to someone that doesn’t have an unlimited data plan or anyone that frequents cafes to do work. Also, of the baked goods which I tried was the apple chauson the presentation was appetizing but the pastry itself was missing the critical element of sweetness. For the health nut, this is the perfect thing. But, with a sweet tooth you’re going to second guess the products for sure.

Do you THINK coffee? Another chain coffee enterprise cropping up on Chelsea? Yes. In hopes for a substantial breakfast, disappointingly, there were no more bagels and no hot breakfast sandwiches. The server publicly announced to the long line that their espresso machine is not working, therefore unable to serve any espressos at the moment. Since I do not drink coffee in any genre it really does not affect me. Ergo, I opt for a small hot Jasmine Green Tea $ 2.75 and nothing else. Think Coffee’s condiments were limited as they did not have brown sugar for tea/coffee. Service is average. For more breakfast/brunch options go elsewhere– seriously.

*Shrug* I really don’t understand the buzz. This is the same as Joe, Birch, or Grumpy. This location is one of the loudest coffee shops I’ve been in. I’ll blame that on 6th Ave. Slow service(10 – 15 minutes for an iced latte, NOT food) and an obnoxious morning crowd that I’ll blame on Chelsea/Flatiron. I’ll stick to Telegraphe on 18th St. Privately owned, cheaper coffee, nicer staff — the people at Think are nice, too, but the people at Telegraphe really go out of their way.

Where do I begin? Upon entering this café on 8th avenue between 13th and 14th streets in Chelsea and all of their other locations, this place is always buzzing with patrons from all walks of life. The hot«Spanish Latte» i had was delicious, its their house special. They use steamed whole milk, sweetened condensed milk and their house proprietary espresso(a fair trade blend), coming from«Porto Rico Importing Co. While waiting for my espresso, I took the opportunity to wander around the café, All of their locations like a like the true definition of a coffeehouse, a place where one can enjoy the savory tastes of delicious coffees, congregate as one and start over again the very next day. Don’t just take my word for it, drop by to one of their many locations!

I got so excited when I saw that a Think Coffee was opening around the corner from my office! I think they have great coffee, that’s not Starbucks, as well as a variety of other food & drink. The new location is nice, not nearly as big as Union Square, but it doesn’t need to be on 6th Ave. The coffee drinks are pricey, and like Starbucks pricey, which kind of is unfortunate. I’ve been wanting to try the grilled cheese from here. Afterall, Orwasher’s bread(YUM!) and cheese, I mean come on, what could be bad. I hate to say, I’m SUPER disappointed. Not only was my grilled cheese $ 7.35(I added tomato), but it took over 20 minutes(I was told it would be 5 – 10 minutes) and was burnt, and really burnt! I took it to go, so I couldn’t just ask them to re-do it, but I also wasn’t about to wait another 20 minutes. Normally, I’d go based off crowd for the wait time, but at 2PM on a weekday there wasn’t a plethora of people getting coffee. I guess I should stick to the basics at a coffee shop called Think Coffee. Coffee only. Okay and maybe a pastry wouldn’t hurt.
