Starbucks

I’ve held off complaining about this store, but enough is enough. First, the good. The people are friendly. That’s why I held off complaining. Period.
But when my cup of Americano only gets filled 50% on occasion, the gloves come off. It’s bizarre as well as frustrating. It seems it’s only one barista who does this. It can’t be because they’re leaving room for milk, unless the barista thinks everyone likes a 50 – 50 blend of milk and coffee. Btw, I take it black, but no one ever asks unlike the less corporate stores.
I called the manager and about all she could do was apologize and offer me to return to get another cup. Hey, I’m already at work… that doesn’t work for me. Basically, all I wanted was for her to get to the bottom of this so as it doesn’t happen again. I could have told her who the barista was. No such luck.
Now I was even more steamed. I called corporate and again got the usual apologies and a promise to send a $ 10 gift card. Jeez. That doesn’t even compensate for the all the half-​cups I got. And a promise for the territory manager to call — «We take every complaint seriously.» Baloney.
I honestly wasn’t looking for compensation. Just an assurance that the problem will be addressed and I don’t have to worry about it again. I’m sticking to Le Café or the News Bar rather than deal with this.

Well this location has trouble with be culturally sensitive. Being transgender and getting your coffee is a struggle here. Why the baristas feel it appropriate to call a Trans woman «sir» each time I’m in full make-​up and long hair I do not know. The beverage is consistent with Starbucks philosophy of being the consumers 3^rd place so I will frequently repeat these painful experiences. Starbucks please get with the program!
On my cup they wrote Duck. Com’mon
No other Starbucks in the city struggles with getting my name correct than this Starbucks!!! I’m mean really. How does lucky so easily become more often incorrect than it should be. Do you really believe somebody is named ducky DUCKY! Or NUCKY the struggle is real!

Worst Starbucks I been to. Should have listened to the Unilocal star rating before entering. I came to this Starbucks to purchase 2 hot chocolate but ended up with 2 run down mocha flavored coffee. They remade my drinks but gave this attitude as if it was my fault when the cups were clearly labeled for hot chocolate.
Music was slightly louder than other Starbucks and can be a headache over time if you sit here long enough.

This place was a pig sty. Straw, leaves, and other detritus all over the floor. It wasn’t even crowded. What were the bar servants doing? When the servant lied to me, a paying customer, that the bathroom was a trash closet, I really wanted to defecate in a corner. There is no bathroom? Isn’t that against department of health and hygiene codes?

The drinks are good depending on who makes it.

In the morning, the staff are unfriendly and rude the majority of the time. If you want friendly staff you have to come in the afternoon. I come here almost every morning because of its convenience but today will be my last day. I understand a one or two time thing when someone has a bad day but to be rude to paying customers all the time for no reason is unacceptable, especially when you’re paying $ 6.50 for a poorly made latte. Try other coffee shops in the area like Coffeed or Think Coffee. The coffee is better and At least you’ll get treated right at any point during the day.

Great Starbucks to pop into on the go. Facility was clean and my order was made to my liking. Also the barista at the register made sure to say your name a few times after taking your order. I thought that was a very nice and welcoming touch.

So I’ve never reviewed a starbucks (or any chain store) before because I figured they’re all pretty much the same quality. With that said, this starbucks is NOT equivalent to all other stores. I ordered the new Caramel Cocoa Cluster frap, which I’d had at other stores uptown, and it was god-​awful. I actually didn’t even get through a fourth of it because it was so awful. They didn’t blend it at all and I’m pretty sure they missed some ingredients. Also, this starbucks location doesn’t have a bathroom for some reason.

I come here because of the location but they have a huge empty floor w not enough seating. Morning lady has never greeted me or said thank you.

There is a restroom but they will not let you use it. I asked politely, as a paying customer, as a human being whom was on the brink of an emergency situation, if I may please use their restroom. They said no. I then peed my pants a little bit. Thanks for nothing jerks. Thumbs down.

If I can give this Starbucks a no star I would. The worker at this Starbucks is just rude. One of the worker here ‘tsk’ at me because I was putting too much milk in my coffee. I didn’t know having coffee the way I wanted was a problem. As I was leaving the worker tsk at me and was giving me a dirty look. Terrible !!

One of thebworsr Sturbucks locations I’ve been to. Long lines, obnoxious people, and no rest rooms butthe coffee is Starbucks guaranteed to wake you up.

It was an okay location. Decent size, enough seating but there’s always at least one homeless person outside begging for change and usually dirty floors. Customer service was decent.
Even though I requested extra vanilla in my hot chocolate, it didn’t taste any had been added. Kind of obnoxious.
Location is extremely convenient being located next to Dairy Queen and Urban Outfitters.

Compared to other locations this starbucks is smaller and doesn’t have a bathroom, but it’s right by the 14^th street path stop so it’s the first and last starbucks I will usually see when I come Ito the city.
They have window seating so you can see all the people sitting on the sidewalk of 14^th street. It’s also right next to the Dairy Queen so it’s in a prime location.

What do you mean you have no public bathroom!@??? This is the WORST Starbucks ever! Just go to Bourbon Coffee across the street. Service bad, dirty place, and there is no bathroom!!!

Well there is only one reason I go to a coffee shop that is to get a cup of coffee. So I stopped in here on this 6^th avenue location. The street urchins that gather outside give this spot a grimy feel.
Don’t know if you are being watched or waiting to be asked for a donation to the homeless plight.
Well I ordered a Venti Iced Mocha Latte no whipped cream. What do people hear when you say NO WHIPPED CREAM. Gees!!!
The coffee arrives with a blob of whipped cream on the top and after-​wards I look at the cup and the box is checked WC. Come on this isn’t brain surgery its a cup of coffee. And where was the mocha, I want Mocha dude! Forget about it!!!

No bathroom. Minimal seating. Crabby workers. :(
On the plus side, it’s conveniently located, and the window seats are lovely, if you can nab one.

Okay, I’m kind of biased since I’ve been coming here for the last three years and the staff ALWAYS remembers my name! It’s a great morning boost. Very friendly although sometimes it get very busy and drink orders tend to disappear. The one drawback is no restroom. I recall an incident where the Urban Outfitter next door was complaining of flooding. I think people would use the bathroom then clog up the toilets and it would cause it to flood. I’m glad I never had to use their restroom since I work right around the corner.

As Kassy M said, they don’t have a public bathroom. I recall a NYC law that says Starbucks has to have them so I don’t know how this one got away with not doing it but I will say this is a VERY TINY location. I also didn’t have the clerk get my money before handing me my drink & with all the waves of people coming in while I was getting my order, I probably could have walked out without paying.
This place is not conductive to the whole hanging out, coffee shop experience of other Starbucks locations so I’d suggest going elsewhere if you want to do that. This is a «get in, get out» style location.
