Great space. Love the sandwiches and coffee. Glad it’s as nice as the LIC one.

Horrible service. Only one other customer there and the only barista spent the whole time we were waiting making a breakfast sandwich. We walked out.

Simple coffee shop. Not super spacious but it wasn’t crowded while I was there. Thought the prices seemed pretty good.

This has been my go to coffee shop in NYC during my trip. I tried their iced lavender latte once and was hooked. It has a light lavender flavor, not too overpowering. Also had an iced americano and it was perfect. Two coffees have run me a little less than $ 10, so the prices are comparable to Starbucks, but in my opinion a way better cup of Joe. They have a rewards card available and your 10th cup is free.

COFFEED is the BEST! Not only for the high quality coffee and food(the Hawaiian sandwich — with avocado — is my favorite ever), but also the kind service, and MOSTIMPORTANTLY, the 10% that is donated to The Foundling! We must realize the power that is in our purchases. Why not take this opportunity to give back to youth in our community when it’s so easy. Couldn’t recommend COFFEED more. It’s bustling, but you can usually always get a seat, and the Foundling has extra seating next door in their wonderful lobby.

Very friendly service and a wide selection of coffee, cold drinks, and food. Attractive, spacious seating area and the line doesn’t ever seem to get out of hand(having designated space for it helps). The bagels used to be amazing quality, but the most recent one I had was closer to breakfast truck quality. Coffeed always have a few flavors of schmears, which is better than Think Coffee down the block, but since the bagels aren’t well toasted most of the time, the sum is one sad bagel.

Wow!!! I live in the Atlanta area and we have some pretty good local coffee places here. But, Coffeed was amazing! I was directed to the Burandi roast by the extremely friendly, and knowledgeable, young lady that was working that day. Let me put it this way… I’m also someone who enjoys a nice bottle of wine. All of the tasting notes that were listed on the bag were very prominent on the pallet! I loved it so much that I bought two bags and that’s pretty much all that I’ve been drinking since I’ve returned home. Can’t wait to get back to NY to buy and enjoy more!

I see you working in there, cleaning up the machinery and giving me the old throat slash gesture as approach your locked doors at 6:47pm, while my trusty Unilocal app and your sign both tell me 7pm. Look, I get it. I worked many years in food service and retail, too. You can tell me that the machine is down and I can’t get an espresso, or that you’ve already tossed most of the pastries, or that I can’t sit and stay past 7pm. But don’t lock me out 15 minutes before you close. Not when I’m in desperate need of a caffeine fix. Oh, no no no no no…

Excellent cup of cappuccino. Hot and with the right amount of foam. Big thumbs up. The chocolate chip cookies are also great. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. A few tables are available as well as some stools in the window. Staffers were pretty nice and served me up quickly. When in midtown, I advise you to check this place out for sure.

Coffeed is a go-to if you’re looking for quality, socially conscious coffee and calm atmosphere on the stressy streets of NYC. The warm reds and browns of Coffeed welcomed us in from a chilly New York afternoon as we made our way to Soho. My +1 ordered a cold-brewed coffee and loved it. The coffee is cold brewed using a series of class containers displayed on the wall. I didn’t understand it all, but the explanation gave the place a «coffee lab» atmosphere. And, they use coffee ice cubes for the iced coffee«to avoid waste». Pretty cool idea. I ordered a dirty chai, a favorite drink that I have to special order at Starbucks. At Coffeed, it’s a menu item! Though Starbucks chai syrup is a guilty pleasure, I did find this chai a bit bland. The drink was more espresso than chai. But, the flavor was good. Just not as spiced as I like. One of several coffee shops in this stretch of Avenue of the Americas, Coffeed is recommended for great atmosphere, a great cause, friendly service, and solid value all the way down to the ice cubes!

A cute little coffee shop nestled next to Think Coffee(another good spot) right in the heart of Chelsea! I had a quick one-on-one meeting here on a Monday afternoon and it was the perfect spot. It’s an intimate environment with a little bit of stetting(both bar stools and regular tables) and there was actually enough room for two to sit and chat without being bothered by others! The baristas are very friendly and the coffee is delicious. I ordered a cappuccino and it was perfect! A little pricy, but that’s expected for one of Manhattan’s finer coffee shops. Side note: It’s a philanthropic business, so your dollar goes even further. As a professional in the nonprofit world, I’m a fan.

My Java Journey quest continues, & I stopped into this place because of their charity — 10% of proceeds go to the New York Foundling. Alas, I wish that 10% included my matcha purchase, but it did not, because they ran out. :(I also got the Flower Power sandwich — cauliflower, pesto, onions on some gigantic bread slices. Honestly, a little too much bread — it saturated most of the flavor. Still tasty, though! My chai was good, but, chai is always good. Pay it forward with pastries, everybody.

Coffeed vs. Think Coffee: Coffee Comparisons Chapter 1. Two coffee shops less than a block from each other. Which will earn my return business?! Price: 12 oz drip coffee — Coffeed $ 2.50, Think Coffee $ 2.50 16 oz drip coffee — Coffeed $ 3.00, Think Coffee $ 2.75 Winner: Think Coffee(by a smidge) Temperature: Coffeed: SUPERHOT Think Coffee: SUPERHOT Winner: Draw Quality: Coffeed: Decent. Had a bit of a different taste(this is a positive) so I could tell it wasn’t office coffee. Think Coffee: Tasted like office coffee. Winner: Coffeed Atmosphere: Coffeed: Took it to go Think Coffee: Took it to go Well there you have it! Coffeed is the winner, but I won’t go back to either because there are better spots in the neighborhood and neither was great. Until next time, signing off from«Coffee Comparisons»!

This place deserves way more stars than it has! This place has a fantastic, chill-mature-hipster-whose-an-adult-now vibe. Their menu is super vegetarian-friendly, which is exciting for me. For breakfast I got the Frittata Du Your on a plain, toasted bagel. Listen, breakfast food is my favorite kind of food, and this is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. I also got a mamma chia coconut mango drink out of their fridge. Everything is fantastic and if I lived in New York this would probably be one of «my spots.» Please stop by and check it out!

Passed by and went to this coffee place because I wanted to go to Brooklyn Roasting Company but they already closed. Got myself 12 oz of café au lait and an eclipse cookie. I was in and out of COFFEED in less than 3 minutes. I think we have a winner here(sorry Starbucks LOL). the au lait was just perfect as well as the cookie. and i just realized that their headquarter is in LIC, Queens. Why on earth I have not hear about them? oh well: D

I love this place! My favorite aspect of Coffeed is the IMAGINATIVE and DELICIOUS sandwiches and snacks they offer. Definitely try the vegetarian options, which was a portabello mushroom with avocado, black bean purée and jalapeño relish. I think there were tortilla chips in the sandwich, as well. As a «dessert» I love the fly trap, which is peanut butter, hazelnut spread, dried fruit and oats on a slice of quinoa bread. It is a large slice of bread which they automatically cut in half, so it is great for sharing! My husband is the real coffee drinker in this relationship, and he says their coffee is fantastic, as well. They have a loyalty program so you can earn free coffee.

My favorite lunch spot in the area. The sandwiches are packed with flavor. Healthy vegetarian option — portabello mushroom with avocado salad, black bean purée, and jalapeño relish. Less than healthy option — daily roasted pork with miso mayo, ham, pickles, and swiss cheese. Both satisfying. And it’s quiet, and they have free wi-fi. Not sure why the alterna-90s soundtrack though — Red Hot Chili Peppers don’t quite fit.

Made for getting some work done, or meeting up with people as they have both ample counterspace and table seating. Super chill with a lot of unique options between their various salads, sandwiches, and all day(gasp!) breakfast items. The wifi is free and it almost feels like a cool little den to work in, but lit nicely by outdoor sunlight from the glass storefront. Love love love the sandwiches here… tried the Turkey Club($ 11) which had a combination of avocados, olives, and pickles(all things i find necessary in a truly good sandwich) and was so large, I had trouble taking it down and ended up being lame and resorting to a fork and knife method. The breakfast frittata(which is actually an egg sandwich) is also quite good and tastes like a complete meal, warm and fresh out of the square egg-steaming-mould. Tried the Peruvian Pudding(quinoa soaked in almond milk, honey, and topped with berries) which was less of a dessert and more of a cold oatmeal replacement. For some reason, everything here comes packaged for take-out. Convenient, and sends the WE’RENOTHERETOINSTAGRAM– WE’REHERETOWURKKK message. All in all, very good options for eating healthy if you’re not afraid of carbs.

I was on my way to Adorama when I passed by the newest branch of COFFEED, with a small blackboard outside proudly proclaiming: «We’re(Finally) Open!». Having been to both the LIC and Astoria locations, I was delighted to see that they were finally in Manhattan and promptly made my way inside. The space isn’t completely finished, as several workers were hanging up the final pieces of décor against the walls, so there was the occasional sound of hammering and drilling; but otherwise, everything seemed to be running smoothly. The interior leans on the smaller side, with a row of 8 or so counter seats against the window and a handful of two tops. I can imagine that the venue will get pretty busy later on, especially as they’re located on a well-traversed street, but it’s not a bad place to stop in for an hour, plop open the laptop or book, and have a warm beverage or two. COFFEED also has an extensive edible menu available, spanning tempting-sounding breakfast items, sandwiches, and salads — perfect for a lunch stop — or a handful of sugar-infused treats. I will note that especially in the cold weather, the constant opening and closing of the door can get rather painful — a vestibule would definitely help with this; otherwise, do your best to seat yourself as far away from the door as possible. Also, as the prior review mentioned, the service appears to be across the board. I placed my order for a coffee with a rather sullen-faced cashier who replied to my questions with monosyllabic answers, but was given a bag of chips from a smiling barista, who apologized for the noise and thanked guests for visiting. I’m hopeful that once COFFEED gets into full operation, they’ll work out some of the kinks. Either way, I’ll be dropping by again to try something aside from my typical drip coffee… which, by the way, I’m tempted to get seconds on.
