We came here during the«snowzilla» because it was acroos the hotel and the only thing open. The food was surprisingly good! the sliders were delicious, specially the lamb slider. If I ever come back here again, I’m definitely getting the lamb burger! The nachos fries were tasty too! Good beer selection, and good bar ambiance!

This bar is actually great– really quality and tasty food, huge selection of beers, friendly staff(and trust me I’ve been to tons of midtown places and am used to them disappointing). Can’t go wrong here. Def recommend.

When I am in the city this is a MUST!!! Love the layout with the bar especially that is has two floors! The pretty blonde with the tats that I usually get upstairs is one of the best bartenders I’ve come across in the city! Actually Overall staff is pretty bomb! Make sure you stop in!!!

Good spot to drop by for a quick pop. Cool crowd, decent menu, had a nice outdoor heated patio. Service seemed friendly and efficient enough. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there but if I’m in the area, seems to work just fine.

Walked into this cute little gem not too far from hotel. The food is amazing and the drinks are STRONG! The service was impeccable and I loved every second we spent here. Surrounded by business professionals are working all day in midtown, which made it a grown and sexy atmosphere. But yet still laid back. It isn’t over priced and you do get tons of great flavor and a buzz to go home with. We will be back next time we’re in NYC.

What a fun place! On a recent trip to the city for the holidays we got off the plane, dropped our things at the hotel, and headed straight for The Three Monkeys to watch a FSU game. My fiancé had been to this bar many times on his travels but this was my first visit. I was greeted by an awesome server, flowing cold beer, and DELICIOUS sliders. I know for a fact I will be back on future trips and I can hardly wait.

This was our second time here. We actually took a taxi across town to come back here this year while in town. The first time we were here it had such a great vibe and customer service that we specifically commuted across town this trip to visit again. Bar both upstairs and downstairs. Great specialty cocktails and the food was great as well. Lots of flat screens for watching games and the customer service is fast. We will see u again next trip!

Good spot for happy hour and to catch the game. NYC is way too overwhelming for me, so we picked this spot due to its location near the office. Strong drinks and low price points!

We came here because of the name. What a cool find in midtown area! Clean and neat. Friendly faces. The MUSIC is a HUGEPLUS. They were playing 80s pop/rock and one BSB song. Awesomeness. That’s my kind of place. We tried the sweet potato puffs, 3 Monkeys Southern Chicken Wings, and the burger. Wings were pretty good but a little dry. I liked that they came with three dipping sauces. The sweet puffs were interesting but nothing to write home about. Their beer selection is pretty cool but I wish their happy hour menu was more extensive. Overall a nice place with a cool atmosphere and vibe. I dig it.

Disappointing to say the least. We came here when in search of a place to eat nearby our hotel. After scanning a few menus presented outside from fellow restaurants close by, this place seemed the most appealing. Typical New York pub style environment — certainly nothing fancy, but laid back and lively like you expect with a pub. They had an appealing menu with hearty sounding options, that unfortunately turned out far less tasteful then they sounded. They do also have a great beer selection. I ended up having an IPA requested by our server. It turned out to be great. For food, I went with one of their burgers– just ordered it protein style(no bun). Cheese is extra to add, and they provide a small selection to choose from. I ended up going with their IPA cheese. It also comes with fry’s I believe, however I opted out for a salad on the side. I also requested some onion strings to be on the side. My honey ordered some sort of burger I can’t recall. After our order was taken, our waitress pretty much disappeared for the rest of our visit. We had to notion her down that my husband needed a refill on his drink several times. Then our food was brought to us by one of the buss boys/helpers, looking less than appealing. Salad looked meek and wilted; and it was missing the requested onion strings. Burger taste wise, was just ok. IPA cheese was a nice companion. My honey wasn’t impressed much with his burger either. I then mentioned to the busser, that the onion strings were missing. He said not a problem and that he would get them. He never came back. I just decided to forget about it. And then again, we had to mention to the bus boy that never brought back the rings, to notion to our disappearing server that was not paying attention to us waving our hands at her, that we needed the bill. Paid the bill. No generous tip was given that’s for sure. Skip.

I enjoy it here. I’ve come a few times and the experience is consistent. They almost always have a great DJ. The food is good! The space is nice and while it gets crowded, it doesn’t feel super packed like most pubs or bars in the weekend(I. E. Can’t move, girls giggling spill beer on you without realizing it, bachelorette dances in a pink veil in everyone’s way, etc). Try it for a beer, game night or night out with friends.

This place is a great find in mid-town. They have great happy hour deals and a good selection of bar food. They have a good amount of beer on tap and the service is great. We went during the Thanksgiving NFL games and had a great time. We sat at the bar and ended up doing shots with people around us. The bartender wasn’t familiar with one of the shots we wanted to do, but asked us how to do it and made it anyway.

Pretty solid happy hour deals and good selection of IPA’s. Place got crowded quick for a Thursday. Only complaint is they make their well drinks really weak. My friend & I ordered a whiskey ginger and all we tasted was ginger ale. Otherwise friendly service and fun ambiance.

I hosted a joint birthday party here for a few close friends of mine a few years ago and it worked out pretty well. I also returned since then for another party after that. It’s good for groups and for people who want to reserve some space. Drinks are reasonable and Bartending staff is OK. I don’t recommend this place for dancing.

After bar hopping a bit after landing in NYC, we got pretty hungry. A recommendation from a friend sent us to Three Monkeys. We ended up here twice for one thing, the Braised Short Rib Flat Bread. FTW, that thing is good! Both times we were there, the service was amazing. We also got a recommendation on a spot for dinner,(Keen’s), thank you Sean/Shawn — You were right, best T-Bone ever!

Stopped by for happy hour at The Three Monekys with my boyfriend before our actual dinner to kill time and have a drink. We loved the atmosphere and vibes. It is absolutely a perfect place to wind down after work for me. The bartender was very helpful since we were indecisive. We ended up ordering wine and randomly decided to order a bread pudding! The bread pudding was definitely not what we expected, but in a pleasant way. We are glad we decided to stop by, and we cannot wait to come back to try it more of their items!

Ok we went here to kill time before a play. We are before we came here and wish we didn’t. The menu and the food we saw coming from the kitchen looked great! We did have some amazing mixed drinks and cold beer. We did decide to squeeze in 1 dessert. We tried the bread pudding(I believe it was bread pudding a long day with lots of drinks). I added pictures of the dessert we had. They have 2 floors with 2 full bars and when we went the 2nd floor was reserved for some group. The entire place was full of money pictures. It is a dark setting and they have candles on the table. During the hot summer day it helped keep it cool inside. We will definitely go back there and this time we will not go to eat first.

Stopped here quick for some food, not bad place. I would probably return. Two story, patio seating outside and a small rooftop type spot too, for hanging out. Buy you couldn’t really see anything from the roof. Ordered burger sliders which were decent. Also ordered buffalo wings and those were good, very juicy and crispy. Pricing is average, about $ 30 for the wings and sliders and sodas.

It’s a neighborhood pub feel place where people are friendly and you can make new friends. A bit tight. So at crowded times it might get a lip too crowded.

My partner and I had been here before and had a great time, so when we learned that there was a patio AND happy hour, we decided to enjoy a pleasant Wednesday there. I got there early and opened a tab. My partner joined me and we had a couple of beers and shared a a couple of apps. The bartender named the happy hour specials, which included $ 5 Blue Moon. This is all important to our latest experience here because when the bill came, two things stood out. The first is that they charge a liquor tax. I understand businesses have to pay taxes, but I’ve never seen customers be directly charged such a fee. Doing the math, we were charged app. 6% liquor tax, plus a similar rate for food. Strange considering the max. allowable sales tax in NYC is 8.875% but what do I know? The second strange thing was that they only charged one of the Blue Moons at the happy hour price. When we questioned the person in charge, we were told that every restaurant charges liquor taxes like they do. As for the beer, the waiter conveniently could not be found so that couldn’t be contested. I really hate leaving negative reviews but if I go out it’s to enjoy myself & not have to break my head over what I owe. Overall, we used to like this spot but when the establishment’s own employees can’t provide customers with answers, it’s really not cool.
