DONOTORDERNACHOS. They are practically just cheese and chips. The service and beer selection is good.

Been here twice now to eat dinner and have a drink. Atmosphere is unique in that when you walk in you feel like youre at a pub in ireland. Live music also very irish. It was too loud though. I didnt enjoy the food much at all. The steak special was pretty bad and the quality of the meat didnt seem to be very good. Salmon was ok. Nachos were decent. I’d go back for drinks but would skip the food.

I come here for lunch every week or two with one of my coworkers, and have never had a bad meal. The service from Natasha is always top notch, and so are the nachos w/chicken.

3.5STARS I ate lunch at The Long Hall on 12÷9÷15, a venue very close to my work place. It is a pleasant, narrow, clean and properly lit rectangular establishment. The bar area is visually pleasing. It features a wide array of signature cocktails and craft beers, both draft and bottled. My server, Sarah, was pleasant, efficient and helpful. I chose a bacon cheddar burger with fries, along with a Long Hall draft. The burger was a perfectly cooked as requested medium. It was very good, with a delicious beefy taste. It was topped with a generous amount of bacon. The fries were meh and could certainly be improved upon. Perhaps freshly cooked cottage fries as an option? The Long Hall draft, though a little darker than I generally enjoy, was very good and very smooth. Count on about 25 to 30 dollars for this type of meal. I recommend Long Hall for the meal I just described.

Buddy had a happy hour here and was able to get the upper room, which is a great space if you have a large group. I was actually surprised on how big the space was that overlooked 34th street. Had the beer and wings special, which was good. Hung out later downstairs since it was raining and not worth going to another bar. The downstairs had a good crowd too, but not as comfortable as the upstairs area.

If you’re eating with small children, there are a few low tables in the back and there’s a decent amount of space in between so you can fit a highchair and not feel all crowded up on the people next to you. There’s a unisex bathroom in the back corner and The temperature was on the warmer side which is fine by me, I’m always freezing at places. The lunch specials are the perfect portion, I got the homeade chicken fingers and fries and at first thought 2 fingers waant enough but they were delicious and filling. The fries are really good too. Would def go back

I absolutely love going to lunch at this place. I have made it my Friday spot every week. The décor is a nice Irish style pub with a grocery store feel to it. The service has always been amazing especially Natasha who goes out of her way to make sure you are having a great time. I have to say this is the only restaurant in NYC that I have been to where I have never had a bad dish.(knock on wood) There nachos with chicken are the best bar nachos I have ever had hands down. I would put money on that so try them. Their burger is good, NY strip steak, and my personal favorite are the bangers and mash. Classic Irish dish cooked to perfection. The owner Jonathan is a great guy too. He made myself and my coworkers feel welcomed. I recommend this spot if you are looking for great food or just a great atmosphere for an after work drinking place.

Although we didn’t eat here. we spent some time bopping in and out as we were staying nearby for the weekend. The Managment and staff here go above and beyond, they really are a great bunch. The place itself is very low key and welcoming, which we loved. Special thanks to Jonathan and Collin who tolerated our shenanigans all weekend.

Fantastic authentic Irish pub! I can almost smell the burning turf, feels like I’m back in Ireland. Right across from my office, I had passed by several times meaning to go in. Today I did and I was glad. I had chicken curry with half rice and fries. So good!!! The fries were hot and crisp and the curry was super tasty on a rainy day. I also had the house ale which was nice, kind of like Smithwicks. The waitresses and bartenders were great too, excellent service. The thing with a true Irish pub is you feel welcome and comfortable as soon as you go in, which is exactly how this place is. If you want a fake corporate Irish bar there are tons in the city. But if you want the real deal this is it! I will be a regular now, for sure!

I have been stopping here every Saturday for a little while now as I have a standing appointment in the area. Going to bump it up another star. The food here, is really, really good. Much better than your standard Irish Pub Fare. They do the standards but they do them really well. The last time I had Bangers & Mash as good was in Ireland. The Fish & Chips are excellent and the Shepard’s Pie made me want to have another but self control got the best of me. The burger is very, very good and I am really, really serious about hamburgers. The beer is always ice cold, no skunky taps, and they pour a proper Guinness. I only ordered one after I saw the young lady properly pour one. If you are into Guinness you know what I mean. 5 Stars.

If you are looking for a clean restaurant that can accommodate a large group, this place is for you. If you are looking for a surly and rude wait staff, this place is for you. Don’t waste your time on the food, it’s nothing special. But if you need a place to grab a pint while shopping in the Herald Square/Penn Station area… stop in.

Now I’m a weekly regular. Today I had the crab cake salad. It was very satisfying and coming from Chesapeake Bay, MD? where crab cake was invented, I was weary at first, but not disappointed in the end. I met Sarah, an adorable lunch mate for those who hate being around assholes all day. Xo

Delightful barmaid and waitress, fun groceries, and great looking whiskey selection Unfortunately, the food. The fish in the fish & chips was spoiled, with a strong ammonia smell. I was so charmed by the waitstaff I felt bad returning it to the kitchen, but I did. Unfortunately, the next plate also had spoiled fish with a strong ammonia smell, confirmed by both the barmaid and the waitress This could be a simple food storage, dating or refrigeration problem, but really really must be addressed. I work nearby and loved the charm of the place

Really great bar. The guys obviously spent a lot of time planning it out and they really got the décor and ambiance right. Prices are reasonable, service is excellent and its definitely the best option in the area to meet friends or colleagues for a drink, I haven’t tried the food yet but I will be back soon to do so.

Excited to have a great pub open up in Murray Hill. Have just had drinks — which were great and reasonably priced. Interior is a classic Irish pub — totally remodeled from last bar that was here — a big step up from what it was. Owners and staff are very attentive and friendly. Great mixed crowd — young, old and everything in between.
