Love this little gem! I discovered it and was so happy I don’t have to go to Duane Reade anymore. Really nice people that work there too.

This is a great compounding pharmacy in Midtown. I came here late on a Friday night to get a prescription filled and two business days later on Tuesday I was able to pick it up.
The best thing about this pharmacy is that if you have a question about your medicine you can call the Long Island City location and are able to get an answer right away. I called once or twice and the pharmacist, Frank, was the one who actually answered the phone.
The next time I need to get a prescription filled I am coming here.

My go to pharmacy. They know us, they know our doctor and they always accommodate us. My favorite pharmacy in the city.

I see way too many doctors and specialist and they are always prescribing more medication or changing me to new medications. So finding a good pharmacy has been quite an exploration of Manhattan.
In the past, Duane Reade was my place for filling my prescriptions. However, I got tired of long lines, long waits, and having to come back several times for my prescription because it wasn’t ready.
This is when the Chemist Shop came into place. It’s right next to my job and I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to fill a prescription.
if you become a regular, they will greet you by first name. There is a blond guy there, I don’t know if he works there or is the owner, but he’s aways super friendly and fast.
Even though this drugstore is small, I ALWAYS find what I need. They usually carry the better quality products and don’t overcharge.
If you ask for help, you get assistance right away and they seem to actually enjoy helping customers.
If you work in the Midtown area, just come on over and try this pharmacy. You won’t regret it.
P. S. Also for very expensive medication, they will tell you the price before they dispense the medication to you. I love the extra care towards customers!
