Hadjiev, Boyan, MD, Allergy, Asthma, and Sinusitis P.C.

I like to post reviews only when I have something really good to share. Why not? I found Dr Boyan Hadjiev web surfing, after a year of agonizing sniffles and misery. With all the five stars he received, I decided to go meet him myself. I urge everyone suffering from allergies, asthma, respiratory illnesses et al to beat a path to this talented, young doctor’s door. He is absolutely terrific. Besides being a great diagnostician, he is warm, friendly, caring, and truly involved. In these times of busy doctors, absurdly brushing off their patients to tend to the next one, Dr Hadjiev is a gem to find and keep. Interestingly, neither my Internist, nor my ENT, or pulmonologist, or any specialist was able to correctly diagnose the source of one year of coughs, colds, fevers, runny nose etc, as serious allergies. And his simple Rx helped me almost immediately. Dr. Hadjiev took away the suffering and put a smile back in my life. Go see him, with no regrets. Great guy! And a word for his staff– like the Dr, warm, professional and caring.

Dr. Hadjiev is as good as advertised. He is caring, has a great bedside manner, and is creative. He really tries to help, asks questions and listens to your issues.
I am a difficult case, so far I haven’t gotten better, but Dr. H has really been very diligent in his efforts to resolve a nasty bacterial infection. My whole family has been to him, he likes and is very good with scared young children.
I recommend him with the highest regards. He consistently tries to save you money with coupons and samples, genuinely generous. I have zero doubt Dr. H will eventually find an answer to my beat up and beaten down old nose.

He’s very patient and has great bedside manners! He listens well and doesn’t rush you. I went to see him a few years ago with a mysterious case of all-​over hives that were basically symmetrical all over on my body. I had previously been to two dermatologists who could not figure out the issue and suggested I might have bed bugs or body mites. As any New Yorker can appreciate, this basically made me want to die. I wasted hours cleaning my clothes and furniture thinking that this was the problem. Dr. Hadjiev took one look and disclaimed a bug problem (wish I had seen him BEFORE the skin biopsy, multiple rounds of laundry washes, and extreme emotional distress). He performed an allergy test and we figured out together that I was allergic to fragrances, which I suspect was coming from my laundry detergent. Little did i know that all those laundry washes were actually worsening my skin rash! Well, anyway, thank you Dr. for solving the issue! I haven’t had hives since and now I know how to avoid getting them again!

I have been an asthmatic my whole life and have seen numerous doctors. For years I was never able to get control of my condition and felt my situation was hopeless. I knew I needed to find a physician who truly understood the difficulties and symptoms I experienced on a daily basis due to my chronic condition. Serendipitously, I came across Dr. Hadjiev and he instantly understood how overwhelming it was to be an asthmatic in NYC, with its harsh environment and seasonal changes. He is comprehensive, conscientious, and compassionate during each visit. I have been lucky enough to be under his medical care for the past 5 years and feel that my overall health and asthma have vastly improved. Due to the treatment I have received from Dr. Hadjiev, I rarely rely on a rescue inhaler. I highly recommend Dr. Hadjiev and believe my improved quality of life has enabled myself to continue to live in NYC primarily because of the care he has provided. Dr. Hadjiev is an excellent doctor, who truly listens to and understands his patients. Dr Hadjiev always demonstrates the highest standard of care that, unfortunately, is all too often missing in the health care industry.

Dr. Hadjiev has honestly improved my quality of life. My allergies had bothered me for about two years before I decided to do anything about them. I know that when I make an appointment for treatment that I’ll be in relief soon after. He spends time with and listens to his patients. Plus, his staff are top notch. There’s never been an issue with checking in, out, calling in a prescription, or rescheduling an appointment. The difference has been night and day!
