Fast service and great food. I highly recommend the ramen noodle dish with chicken. Great prices as well!

I go here occasionally for their Happy Hour specials. It’s one of the few restaurants serving Happy Hour until 8 pm so it’s always a great option in case I’m running late from work. Not sure if it’s until 8 indefinitely or because it’s still fairly new to the area. Great selection of $ 5 appetizers and drinks. Portions are filling and delicious. The pad Thai is great as well. Overall, great addition to the area.

I was impressed with this place. You can get anything with veggie duck, so vegetarian me is happy about that. The curries I’ve had(Penang, green) were spot on. The prices are very reasonable and the happy hour is solid: $ 5 for a good selection of drinks and appetizers, and it goes till 8! The mojitos are tasty and pretty strong, too. The service is friendly and quick, and while the tables are that NYC kind of annoyingly too squished in, when we’ve gone on weeknights it’s not too crowded to sit and enjoy ourselves. This is going to be a regular spot.

New Thai spot in the hood. Great décor. Affordable menu. We checked this place out a few weeks after it first opened, and then another time recently. The food is pretty delish with a nice presentation. Both times though we have found the service to be a bit slow and unattentive. It’s a chic looking space with terrific seating, lighting, and design. Clubby type music playing and clean bathrooms to boot. Now if only they can get their service up to speed. Solid Pad Thai and Street Noodle entrees. Very tasty with good flavors. Lettuce Wraps appetizer was a really fun way to start the meal. Very fresh tasting. Complimentary Fried Ice Cream dessert was a nice surprise. Had to cheat a bit on my diet to enjoy this one. Worth the calories. Really wish Unilocal would let us include half stars on ratings. A 3.5 for sure in my opinion up to 4 if the service was a bit better.

Wanna slap myself for not tryin this place earlier, despite walkin past several times, esp since it’s right on our street. Tried the pre fixe lunch spl for $ 8.98 with steamed Japanese dumplings, garlic chicken & rice. Nice portions, although I could have used a few more dumplings. The food was finger lickin’ good. The dumplings soaked in a sweet soy sauce were delicious. The garlic chicken was outstanding. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the dish was packed with a good helping of veggies like bok Choy, carrots & scallions. Nicely done. Above everything the restaurant looked sparkling clean which to an OCD freak like me is a dream! Def goin back.

Excellent addition to the Thai scene in Yorkville. I came here last Sunday(2÷28÷16) with a couple of friends in hopes that this relatively new Thai restaurant would be awesome, and it did not disappoint! Located on 2nd Avenue between 89th Street and 90th Street(next to Chef Ho’s and across the street from Libertador), the managers did an excellent job of renovating the space. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing considering its large space, beautiful décor, and cleanliness. Staff members were friendly, and our waiter was attentive. It was not very crowded, though I am almost certain it had to do with us eating while the Oscars were on television. The drinks were made well. I tried the Long Island Tea, which(as expected) came with a solid kick. My friend tried the mango martini and enjoyed it thoroughly. It looks like they have some legitimate lunch and happy hours specials, which I would like to try sometime. The food was fantastic! It’s in serious contention for my favorite Thai in the UES. We started happy with the crispy root vegetable spring rolls as an appetizer. I ordered the volcano chicken(chicken in a sweet and sour sauce served with cashews, broccoli, and rice) as an entrée, and it was excellent. I made everyone at the table try it, which resulted in a unanimous«wow» reaction. Other favorites were the«Bang Bang Bangkok Chicken» special and the street noodles with a combination of beef and chicken. I highly recommend it based on my first experience, and I cannot wait to go back again!

Good food. I am very impressed with the interior decoration, modern, classic, simple, and just beautiful. Feel very relaxed with the will selected background music. Food wise, I got the pad kee maw. The flat noodle is pretty good, and the control of flavor is really good too, nice presentation, good job.

Went here for dinner last Saturday and I must say this has some really good thai food. The interior of the restaurant was nicely done it’s not the biggest restaurant but it does hold a decent amount of people. My friends and I were there for happy hour($ 5 mojitos which were really good and highly recommend) I ended up getting the mango mojito which tasted well. The quality of the food is excellent and the way the food is presented is possibly the best I’ve seen. The two dishes that I ordered were the thai lettuce wraps and the pineapple fried rice which had shrimp in it. Every bite of the fried rice complemented well and it was so flavorful(I highly recommend this dish) This place was really reasonable for a dinner and they had a decent happy hour from 4 – 8 pm which I think is amazing since most places that have a happy hour only run for about two hours.

We love this place! Was looking for good Thai on UES and came across this place that’s located on the corner of 2 Ave and E89 Str in the building that’s being renovated but we gave it a shot! Delicious food, great drinks and appetizers(during the happy hour $ 5) nice lounge music, dimmed lights, flowers and candles on the tables. Feels like spa at the restaurant! Try coconut soup, volcano chicken, coconut shrimps, calamari and red snapper(mummy fish). Enjoy!

Came here with a friend for dinner on a weeknight. Very nice place, seemed clean as well. The waiter we had was very attentive to our needs as well as nice. At around 7:30 on a weeknight, the place wasn’t very busy but once 8pm hit, it started to pick up. For an appetizer, I got the Thai salad. Just your average Thai salad consisting of ice burg lettuce, cucumber, boiled egg, fried tofu, bean sprouts, onion, and peanut-ginger dressing. Very fresh ingredients for sure. The dressing came on the side, but due to its thick consistency, the dressing didn’t really go anywhere far other than the few pieces of vegetables that I could get it on. I think the salad would be better if tossed in the dressing, as opposed being on the side. My main entrée was of course, my absolute favorite food: shrimp pad Thai. The food came it hot, and with about six pieces of shrimp which is a more than most places would give. The portion of the pad Thai was good as well, I was able to bring some home as leftovers. For flavor, this was pretty good. The plating of the food was not anything extravagant, but they did cut carrots into cute curls and placed them on top of the noodles. One thing I was a little off about was that they gave me a lemon wedge. Normally I receive lime with pad thai. No complaints though, I think it still made a good dish. Overall, this place was attractive, the staff was friendly and the food was good. I’d give it a try if you’re in the area and looking for a new Thai place.

Really romantic interior and good place for date night:) It seems that they have really reasonable happy hours between 4pm to 8pm. you can get drink or appetizer for $ 5 each. I satisfied their food and they offer you generous portion. For two, sharing sampler and noodle was enough and we were stuffed! Thais New York sampler: $ 14.98 Root vegetables spring rolls, Chicken curry puff, Chicken dumplings and green papaya salad. It was nice to try 4 different items with this price and taste was good! Crab Meat Curry Noodle: around $ 12 They give you big chunk of crab meat and also adding another choice of meat is included! This is perfect when you cannot decide which one you wanna eat, seafood or meat!

Our first time eating here, Happy hour Apps & Drinks were def worth it size and price. Starters were good enough for three we shared Spicy Calamari, Spring Rolls & Steamed Chicken dumpling all 5 $ a piece. Entrées We had were Chicken Volcano which was delicious the fresh pineapple pieces really complemented the dish, my family got the Pad Thai which was really savory & Spicy noodles def had that kick I tried both & they were delightful and the portion sizes were enough for two people to share. A great find near home

Came in to this new restaurant on 2nd ave on a Tuesday night that opened about a month ago. Fairly quiet but could’ve been that it was a Tuesday night and a bit later in the evening. The interior space is trendy, clean lines with comfy seating in booths that line the wall or in chairs across the tables. I read previous reviews that there was no liquor license… that has since changed at the time of this posting. Liquor license is IN and they have a good selection of booze/wine/beer at average prices. I opted for their version of Kea Mao as I think that is a good barometer at any new Thai place. Great flavors and the right amount of spiciness. Some carrots and string beans in the dish which I think is different from other Kea Mao dishes I have had recently, which seem to be leaning more towards sliced asparagus. Great food. It seemed half way through our meal our server changed, which seemed a bit odd to me, but giving them a break seeing that they are a new restaurant and may be trying to work out the kinks. Very clean restrooms and dining room. Strange that there are no seats at the bar, would like to see a few stools put there for single diners that don’t like to sit at tables when flying solo. A tip to the restaurant management, the website that you have listed on your menu does not seem to be working at this time. Can’t wait to visit again next time I’m looking for food on 2nd ave!

This place recently opened and it is GREAT. I came at 10ish on a Wednesday night and it was empty — hopefully people will find out about it soon. The décor is nice and trendy, with modern furniture and blueish glow lighting of the bar in the back. We ordered our usual dishes — basil beef and flat rice noodle. They were both delicious. The basil dish is not too spicy and it was the most TENDER beef. My noodle is sort of like Pad See Ew but it didn’t have overwhelming sauce like some other Thai place does, which I like. They were beautifully presented.

I have yet to dine in, but I popped by for a takeout order and got a very good first impression. Everyone was really nice, and my chicken & veggie Pad Thai was great. Looking forward to dining in — the service is what makes it great!

I had the lunch special 11:30 — 3:30 a choice of appetizer and choice of entrée for $ 8.98. I ordered the Thais’ Salad to start. As soon as it was set on the table I was frozen in the smell of peanuts. I got so excited to taste the dressing. It did not disappoint. Wrapped into the dressing were shreds of toasted coconut which added, not only great flavor, but crunchy/crispy texture that nicely complimented the softer egg, tofu, and tomato. I was completely satisfied by the flavor and portion of the salad. My only complaint is that I am a bit clumsy and the bowl proved a little tricky to eat out of. My husband shared a taste of his Tom Kha Gai Soup with me. I only had one taste but I think I could pick out individual flavors of the coconut milk, lemongrass, and fish sauce. Yummy, and pretty too! For my entrée I had Red Curry with Chicken. As usual, I ordered it extra spicy. The spicy wasn’t spicy to me but I was kept warm enough after leaving. The broth had both excellent texture and flavor and the tenderness of the vegetables was perfect. I ate every bite and kept wishing I could drink it by the gallon. Alas, at least I got my $ 8.98 worth. This is my new go-to Thai on the UES. Good job, Thais New York! I am glad to have you in the neighborhood!

Tasty food. Great service. Loved the atmosphere and the music playing. Got the lettuce wraps to start, delicious, loved all the ingredients they came with. Then had the yellow curry with chicken — the curry & sweet potatoes were so good. I wasn’t able to take advantage but they also have BYOB. Best Thai I’ve had in the UES. And such a good price. Highly recommend checking out this new spot! Will be back to try new dishes.
