Today was the last day for the talenti pop up bar so of course I had to stop by! My cousin actually bought a cooler with us so we could store the icecream(that’s dedication, I tell you). I told him that target, cvs, the local grocery store sells talenti gelato but he was like«no, it’s authentic here!») so, yes we ended up getting caramel cookie crunch for moi and sea salt caramel for himself. We decided that the pint of icecream was much more worth it at the end. It costs $ 5 for a pint and $ 5 for a scoop, I’d say the pint is definitely worth it! The creamy gelato taste was rich and amazing!

Cool little location in Bryant Park! If you Iove Talenti or even have a love of gelato, this is the place for you. I went on a Sunday evening around 6PM and was disappointed that they only had two flavors left. The workers explained(after my ranting and raving and pouting) that their week begins on Monday with new gelato coming in on that day. I had to suck it up and decided to choose another flavor. I went with butter pecan and was almost as happy as I would have been with their delicious coconut flavor. The workers were quick and the serving was pretty big for about $ 4 and come change. My friend and I sat down in the park and enjoyed our evening treat. I will go back again. Maybe during the week. Closer to Monday. Hopefully they have my coconut flavor!

What a shame! I really wanted to like the pop-up version of this wonderful gelato. I’ve had their store bought version and found it addictive. We had the southern butter pecan at the pop-up and it was terrible. It had a grainy, sandy after taste that made the back of your throat itchy. I didn’t try the other flavors but this one should definitely be avoided.

I was walking my pup around Bryant Park when I saw a long line for this place-I knew it meant something was free! Sure enough, they give out free gelato every Tuesdays from 3−4pm! I had the sea salt caramel, pink(pear flavored) and butter pecan… all were good! I’d try the coffee chocolate chip next time: P

Gelato right next to my office?!? Yes please!!! I’ve always been a huge fan of Talenti so the fact that it’s now in Bryant Park thrills me. All of the flavors are delicious, though the Sea Salt Caramel is my favorite. Also hoping they bring in Pistachio. This location also has the Talenti ice cream Popsicles with mint, yum yum. On Tuesdays, they offer free scoops of gelato in the afternoon from 3 – 4. I went the first week and it was awesome, but since then, the line has been crazily long so no more free gelato for me(it does move pretty quickly though). Definitely a great addition to Bryant Park that I will continue visiting!

Having just come back from a month long stay in Italy and spending my lunch break in Bryant Park, I knew I had to try Talenti Gelato on a hot day. After all, I’ve been seeing their ads everywhere. Talenti is very good. Would I call it gelato, not so much. I had the salted caramel flavor and was very pleased with it. But it is more of a gourmet ice cream than the creamy delectable succulent gelato I’m used to scarfing down in Italy. With that said I still was happy with my sweet treat. You can try as many flavor and they come in either cup or on a popsicle stick form. It’s nice for the hot days on my lunch break. The girl at the counter was also very nice especially since there is nothing worse than getting handed your ice cream by a curmudgeon.

Tim Healy would have loved this place. Gelato, and some generous scoops just in time for the HBO Movies on Monday nights in Bryant Park! It does not get any better! Gelato is something that gives Bryant Park a sort of European feel. Gelato is something that I hope is becoming an integral part of the culture of NYC. Gelato!

A big fan of their gelato and the pint jars in which they are packed, I dropped by their 4-month Bryant Park popup kiosk on a sweltering opening day during the free sample window(the rest of its stay it’s free 2−4pm on Tuesdays) for a coffee chocolate chip from the friendly staff. They rotate 5 or so flavors and a bar or two at a time on the 40th Street side.
