TAE With Jane NY Women’s Wear

As with the post below, I was walking by last month with a friend when i noticed the SALE sign. Most of the regularly priced items were a little high but the sale items were very reasonable. I picked up a gorgeous cotton dress with a really interesting pattern (made by a local designer) for only $ 59. It fit like a dream. I was excited to have a one-​of-​a-​kind piece. The try on area was roomy — a small area in the back of the store closed off by curtains. Also, the store manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. Next time I’m in the vicinity, I’m going back!

I was in a bad funk one summer day and was in the mood for some serious retail therapy when I came across this place on my way from Dessert Truck (chocolate bread pudding AND cute clothes? SCORE.)
It was mostly the SALE sign that caught my eye since it’s such a tiny store tucked away on a street that was mostly residential. The clothes there are definitely not in my price range, but on sale, they become pretty affordable. I got a REALLY cute dress that looks super original (I believe it was the only one on the rack) in a style that I’ve never seen before, and it was about $ 50. There were other standard boutique-​type items: shirts, dresses, cardigans, overpriced trinkets and accessories, but any purchase here is guaranteed to be fabulous.
There are dressing rooms here, two partitioned curtained off areas and the little Korean owner is adorable in her encouragement of previously mentioned retail therapy.
If they have more sales, I’ll definitely be back!
