Discovered this place yesterday, and I’m head-​over-​heels in heart with it!
It’s small, but the selection is great! Rachel, the owner, was also managing the store when I was there. She’s so sweet and helpful — I wanted to stick around and hang out. I ended up buying a dress for under $ 70 that I could see costing about $ 300 elsewhere. If I had endless cash, I probably would’ve walked away with 2 other dresses and a couple pairs of earrings.
Did I mention the adorable undies? Definitely going back 4 mo’, 4 sho’! ;)

This boutique in the East Village, indicative of its name Love Song, a styish and hip, husband and wife team who aspire to bring you the stylish, fun, and hip, clothing and accessories, for less than a hundred bucks!

When I first walked in this boutique I knew its unique blend of designers and eclectic vibe would hook me for life. I felt like I was walking into an indie chic superstar bedroom! The sales woman was helpful and attentive which is a plus for me. Best shopping experience ever.

Lovesong is currently having a Red Ribbon sale, meaning that anything with a red ribbon on the hanger is 40%+ off. The sale selection wasn’t that great when I went.
I ended up getting a navy polkadotted dress with a ribbon tie at the waist ($ 98, as were more non-​sale dresses). Service was wonderful; the saleswoman was friendly and not pushy/​snobby at all, even when other people walked out without buying anything.
All in all, an excellent East Village boutique.

Ok, so I knew I had to get something for my girl this past holiday but I had been avoiding it mostly cuz I didnt know what to get her. Until one morning when we were walking home from breakfast at ‘Café Pick me Up’ on e9th and Ave A. (not bad there atually). — anyway, we were walking home and we stepped into this shop, attracted by the cool window display and its interesting name. Music was playin cool beats and the sales girl was actually friendly without being pushy. So we both felt comfortable looking around. My girl couldnt resist getting a flannel she really liked and some earrings. …but there were a bunch of other things she liked in there… So this past weekend, guess where I got her gift? Lovesong 422! I’d definitely recommend it. Your girl will love it, mine did!

This place is AWESOME! I live in the neighborhood and am very familiar with all the boutiques and gift shops and I have to say that by far Lovesong has some of the most unique and affordable gifts. Great stuff mainly from the west coast. I bought a necklace there that I am absolutely in love with. Definitely worth a visit!
