Just stopped in for a visit to check out the inventory in jewelry. Staff was extremely nice. However I couldn’t find anything that popped out at me. I have to add that although I don’t frequent jewelers, I didn’t care too much for the way the rings were displayed. I’ll try again some other time…

Im a swarovski religious shopper for over 15 years my sisters & I always gift each other it for our birthdays & holidays. In nyc & nj ive always gotten amazing service greeted & smiles. now at this location a lady seemed like a manager JESSICA was extremely unprofessional & rude to me un person & over the phone not knowing I was the same person ! I walked into the not busy store & no one greeted me at all i waited at the counter to show her two of my bracelets that were damaged she started off by accusing me of not treating them with appropriate care without asking me first, then i told her im a reg regular customer I know how to treat my jewelry. Then she started the paper & started grunting & breathing heavy while typing in my info into the computer because she was having issues with the key board i was literally shocked & scared. She finally finished the paperwork & left. I got an email days later for a promo sale 15% off i called a day later to see if i could still get the sales and she laughed at me over the phone(not knowing who I was) i asked her why would she laugh i was wanting to ser if i if I could still get the promo since I’ve been a regular customer for years and then I told her that was rude and unprofessional and I was trying to get a gift for my sister that’s about to give birth in a few days *******************MANAGERJESSICA ################## Horrible service ################# dont shop this location

I wanted to thank all the staff at Swarovski NYC! I was for business at NYC haven’t not time for almost anything, and the staff at Swarovsky really help me to pick the present I wanted for my girlfriend and giving me advises to don’t go wrong. Must say the staff is great and my girlfriend love it

Swarovski has a Hello Kitty collection! Oh I’m in love! Everything in the store is so sparkly and not too expensive either. Their customer service is kind of crappy. The girl never even acknowledged us or even said hello. I’ll probably buy their items online then.

This place is like the fast food of luxury jewelry retailers. Wait, no, that’s a terrible analogy, because unlike a grease food franchise, Swarovski on Lexington had stellar service and was uncrowded even at rush hour in its midtown location on Lexington Avenue between East 58th and 59th, just shy of the corner facing off with Bloomingdale’s. I guess what I mean by the comparison to fast food is that shopping here was extremely convenient because it is right on top of the 6 train. It was also affordable(compared to the likes of David Yurman or Mikimoto or Tiffany’s) and satisfying. Let me preface this by saying I am not a girly girl who finds solace solely in material things. I also hate the show Sex and the City, and do not wish to emulate the way a shopping spree down 5th Ave. can suddenly make you hap-py! In fact, I often forget to wear jewelry or forgo it for fear of looking too fussy or complicated. But the back story to my visit is that I was sick of looking like a bum in a sea of Manhattan high steppers. I was ready to throw down for something truly nice, but wanted to go for classic styles that didn’t scream for attention. I’m often drawn to sparkly, ornate, trendy things, but acknowledge that they look tawdry with my round, doughy face and variable clothing. Almost immediately, I stumbled upon Swarovski online. However, I was desensitized to this household name, and associated it with a humbler Tiffany’s — completely overblown and unoriginal. Plus, my most salient memory of the Dutch house of crystal was of the uniformly angular, superfluous little beads rolling around in trays conspicuously marked«SWAROVSKICRYSTALS!!!» in craft stores I frequented in earlier days. Given all this, I passed up the website and storefronts many a time… until I a few sparkly things caught my eye from Midtown ads or magazine. When I looked closer, I saw that, among the occasional hoops with dangling stars and the ginormous yellow stones hanging pendulously from square chains of rhodium was a repertoire of simple, alluring classics from which to choose. When I entered the boutique, a woman greeted me immediately. She had a dignified but unpretentious aura, and was helpful without being pushy. Poor lady had no idea what she was in for. Coming straight off of the day from hell, I alternately mumbled and exclaimed about what I had seen online, how the sizes of the earrings were all so different from what I had imagined, how certain colors didn’t look quite right on me, how I really wanted something simple, how much I liked those crazy earrings in the glass box, etc. The space was charmingly small, yet carried everything I had been curious to see in real life. Of course, I tried on positively everything(since, unlike shabby or high-falutin establishments, they know it is reasonable for the customer to see what the product looks like actually on). My gracious helper patiently sanitized the earrings again one by one before placing them back on display. As she began showing subtle signs of polite at my indecision, I got nervous and started being unable to see my earring holes! I could tell that annoyed her even more… Finally, I narrowed down my choice to two pairs of white crystal earrings bordered by different thicknesses of rhodium(a silver, non-flaky, non-allergenic, non-corroding, non-tarnishing metal). She told me straight up which ones she thought were better, and I appreciated the fact that she was right. They were flat, bright, clean, and of an unusual medium size; bigger than most studs and smaller than bulbous pearls or silver balls seen elsewhere. I wore them right out of there, and the employee gave me their signature velvet lined blue box with the swan embossed on it to «keep them in at night.» The whole scene turned my day right around. Great choice for a gift to oneself or to others who can appreciate anything from the timeless and unassuming to the eye-catching and flamboyant. This is definitely a classy store that has not slacked in its popularity. Neither is its jewelry cheapened by its own fair prices — I think the best kept secret is that people don’t come here because they can’t afford diamonds or aquamarine; they come because they specifically want something crystal clear, with a shopping experience to match!
