Maurice Badler is a tucked away hidden gem in Manhattan. Located on Park Ave, it would not be a place an out of town person would know about. A relaxed friendly atmosphere, personalized shopping is what they are known for. Jewelry is guaranteed for a year from date of purchase. I like the fact that they are able to convert an old piece of jewelry into something more modern and elegant. Designer lines vary including the works of Bez Ambar, Roberto Coin, and Sethi Coulture. Pandora jewelry is also available. I really appreciate the personal shopping experience since it is difficult for me to find what truly will look good on me rather than stop in somewhere and try to make m own decision. I have never been disappointed with any of my purchases. This store is worth going out of my way for.

Jeffrey Badler and the staff at Maurice Badler Fine Jewelry are absolute GEMS(pardon the cheesy jewelry pun)! I am a fairly new Pandoraholic — my addiction started Sept 2011& I am now almost done w/bracelet #2.(For those of you who don’t know, Pandora crafts European-style charm bracelets, you screw on fabulous individual charms at will, no jeweler soldering required. I have always loved charm bracelets and immediately got hooked on these lovely little finely-crafted charms.) Last month, I was in hot pursuit of a beautiful retired charm(the whimsical Princess and the Pea) for a friend. I found Maurice Badler on a list of Pandora’s authorized sellers &, as they had the hard-to-find charm in stock, I arranged to have the charm held for my friend. I spoke to a few people that day & was immediately struck by how friendly & accommodating they were just over the phone. Note, they also carry many other beautiful jewelry lines but I have only bought Pandora here. Maybe about a month later, Jeffrey Badler reached out to the NYC Pandora Lovers Group, of which I’m a member, offering his store for an upcoming meet & greet. More and more of our members started going to his store, raving about how awesome everyone there was. Finally, I got a chance to visit myself. Jeffrey & his entire staff were even more amazing in person! They are all welcoming & provide exemplary service. They are very familiar with the line, which helps them assist with purchases — they know what’s retired, how things are sized, etc. They are so patient & knowledgeable if you have a lot of questions(like me). They are also willing to offer design help & suggestions. Lucille has helped me twice, she is fantastic & so is Jennie & everybody here. A trip to Maurice Badler is not just shopping, it’s a whole Pandora experience. After my 1st visit, I had to return to the store to get a different size bracelet, they continued to be affable & genuinely concerned for my satisfaction. Pandora ought to be mighty pleased at the magnificent way that Jeffrey & his staff represent the brand. I leave this store not just with lovely jewelry but a spring in my step & a smile on my face. I am glad I have a go-to store where people are willing to take such time to make sure customers are happy. They also ship Pandora anywhere in the U.S., which has made some of our out-of-state Pandora friends very very pleased(they have a great selection of retired charms). Some members of our group are already«regulars» here now. I’m so grateful to have found Maurice Badler & I look forward to my next visit(which might even be next week!).

I really wanted to give this place 3 stars because of the fact that it wasn’t hard to find but i am sticking to my guns with my 2 star rating. When i first walked in I wasn’t greeted because another lady came in before me and they thought that we were together i guess because we are the same skin color??? like that shouldn’t matter whatsoever. Anyways they apologized, and i forgave them because it wasn’t like they were talking about nonsensical things they were talking about gift wrapping. After scouring through the immense amount of expensive jewelry i finally was able to pick out two charms, that i would seriously have to do some major apologizing to my bank account. Throughout my transaction i felt rushed as if this person had a huge line behind me or something which there wasn’t and i told her if it was possible to have it wrapped because i can’t wrap to save my life and she wanted to give me the paper so that i can wrap it when i get home. What kind of service is that? I was so shocked by this behavior it didn’t hit me until i left the store. The other lady who served the person before me was able to wrap up the other girls gifts and also take the time with her. so why should i be so different? pros: i got a bottle of water ladies apologized for not greeting me they were nice cons: she didn’t wrap my gift and proceeded to hurry me out of the store so that i can take the paper with me so i CAN wrap it when i get home when i told her i can’t wrap. I felt hurried and as a customer that’s not a good feeling. Overall i will probably go back to the store and if i get the same type of service i will def. say something about it.
