Location and staff training is everything to a successful retail business and this place needs some management and customer service training. Went to this location with a handful of clothes to exchange for bigger size we brought from their store in the times Square location 3 days ago. Drove down to this seaport location because it was easier for parking. Once inside I greeted the teenage staffer with a hello, how you doing and said i needed some help in exchanging some items. Kid stares back at me with a lost emotionless look in his face as if no one ever taught him how to greet back or acknowledge a greeting. So i went on to explain what I’m here for and asked if he can assist in an exchange or store credit. 2 mins explaining and he brings over another teenager who then tells me that not all their stores carry the same styles and therefore could not give me an exchange of a different size or even return the item for a different style for the right size because the style i brought is not in their store so they wont take it in their store. Is she clueless or unwilling to do some work? The store was a ghost town how much work does it take to process this i thought to myself. Or is this a Superdry retail policy? I asked the two unwilling staff kindly if that’s the case can i have either store credit or a refund. To my amazement, i was given the same explaination that the clothes i have purchased in the times square location is not the style they have in this seaport location so neither a credit or refund can be given as they can’t take this clothes since they don’t sell this in their location(mind blown). As i left the store i searched and called the nearest location in Noho because i know for sure this can’t be the way this retailer does business. When i called the Noho superdry location, i was greeted by a courteous gentlemen named Yaz. I explained to him my situation and he said i should be given a refund or credit for the items purchased. I told him that the staff in seaport was pretty sure and adamant thats not something they do. So he said well if thats what they told you he’s sure they’ll probably tell me that again if I go back. So he suggest i go down to the Noho store and get a store credit or refund if styles for exchange are not available at Noho store. Driving down to another store wasnt an issue in the nyc traffic but this experience makes me think twice before buying anything at the store again. But Yaz waz a great help. This noho location staffer deserves my praise. Yaz was courteous, professional and knows the what to do.

I like their outer-wear selection but I do agree that for the brand-name and quality of their goods it’s not worth the price.

Its a fun store to be in and I agree with Kassy to the max! It is fun clothing but man is it overpriced! Good quality and its huge in the UK, good designs and fun colors but ugly price tags for this poor cowboy! Still if you want something, still mainstream but more unique than express or H&M — then come over to this place

Superdry is NOT a Japanese brand. Trust me, they almost fooled me too, and I’m Japanese! They pretty much take American Eagle-type of clothes and plaster it with«Engrish» writing to make it look like a Japanese clothing brand. I think it’s overpriced but the quality is more apparent than the clothes you’d see at American Eagle, and the workers are friendly and professional. They really don’t have anything fancy, pretty much all casual clothing, so if you’re into that kind of thing, check it out. Fun fact: Superdry does NOT have any store locations in Japan.
