Clothes are cute but the quality is super cheap — prices are pretty decent for the most part but I can’t justify spending $ 60 on a polyester blazer. If you want something bright and disposable, I’d recommend this spot, but overall I’m willing to pay more for better quality.

I only found this place because I was in the neighborhood catching up with an old friend. I needed a last-​minute dress for a wedding, and decided to try it out. The dresses are inexpensive and made of relatively cheap material, but they’re great for a year or last minute occasions. I’d definitely come back if I was ever in the neighborhood, but I wouldn’t willingly make the trek just to go shopping.

It’s kind of interesting how this store exists among all the other nice clothing stores in South Street Seaport. Kara offers women’s clothing and accessories, but the quality is not there so everything is rather cheap (but overpriced). I think that there’s a trashy element to this store.
