This place is a drug front or something. Their dispalys are IKEA. I have two of the lamps that they have in there. The people are odd. It seems over priced for the other fixtures too. I would save your money and aviod at all costs!

Too expensive and on top of that, the man behind the counter didn’t even acknowledge us. Even when I got a business card, I didn’t even get a response. There was no one there other than me and my spouse. If it’s a matter of elitism, that guy made a HUGE mistake in ignoring us.

Another store where I walk in, and NOONE acknowledges me, even when I look at items. Seriously? Also, the prices were a bit up there. Just go somewhere else.

Who has the time and patience to haggle? Home Depot’s prices were consistently less than Sunlico’s. I saw a light fixture at Sunlico for about $ 300. Then I saw it in the lighting district for around &200. Finally, I found it on line for around $ 125. The guy at the store tried to tell me that what I found on line was probably a fake. It would have made sense but I used the name and model number from the Sunlico tag to find it on line. That gave me another good reason not to buy from them.

Any lighting needs you have, these guys have it. If they don’t chances are they can get it. I’m a designer in the city and when I found this place, I found a hidden secret. Most of the lighting for my jobs comes from Sunlico now and I have turned several designer friends on to them also. The Bowery is too much of the same thing for me and I always forget where I saw something. Sunlico has relationships with every lighting manufacturer, they can even get hard to find bulbs. For high end lighting or just a ceiling fan I recommend Sunlico.
