service was okay but they allowed a lady with a dog inside. I think that is nasty as hell

This month is FebruANY where most of their normal subs are $ 5 and their special ones like the chicken bacon ranch is $ 6. Décor: 3⁄5 –Seating for about 10 people Service: 3⁄5 –Depending on the hour, it can be efficient or backed up Food: 2.5÷5 –Mediocre meat and bread. As expected, you get what you pay for in terms of amount of meat but you can load up your sub with veggies. –Even if the bread is baked fresh daily, I still find myself only eating half the loaf.

This is the local subway near my job and I stop by to get the $ 5 footlong specials or just my favorite 6inch pastrami or meatball sandwhich. Staff are friendly and you are served quickly. Really no complaints.

This is not a bad Subway, but it’s just located in a weird part of the neighborhood. I came upon this branch as I was exploring the area last night and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. Since I am trying to eat a bit healthier lately Subway is a decent choice. I still think Jared is a noob and would get beat down by a little girl in a fight, but that is neither here nor there. This outpost of the fast food chain is probably what most would consider mid-sized, with a few tables and chairs, but very clean and bright. I mean, really bright. As if you are eating in a spotlight. No mood lighting here. I always wish they would play some music or something too. It’s kind of unsettling to eat in total silence when you are the only person in the place. The guys who work here seem pretty cool. Both nice and took care of me quickly. I also noticed they knew some of the regulars who came in after me and knew exactly what they always order. Good customer service. This location also offers a student discount for those attending class close by at one of the medical campuses and schools. I saw a few guys in medical garb come in and get that. Still, this part of 2nd Ave always seems a bit sketchy to me. As I was sitting there enjoying my chicken sandwich and checking emails some dude came within a few feet of my table and started staring at me. He looked kind of strange and I thought«Oh boy, here we go». I looked at him and in broken English he asked«You know Spanish?» I said«No, no habla Espanol». He looked angry and then said«You know English?» I almost wanted to laugh as I answered back«No, no habla English». Yeah, I was being a wise-ass. He then looked confused and asked me for money. I said I don’t have any. He was carrying a small picnic basket and then wanted me to look into it. I am sitting there thinking that either they guy is a bit whacked, or I am about to get in a brawl with a nut job. For some reason he then turned around and focused on the guys working there and started to ask them for free sandwiches to put in his picnic basket. At that point I slipped out of there. Decent Subway, but sketchy sketchy. Eat there at your own risk, and try to go in daylight!

I guess it’s because there are a lot of schools and hospitals in the area, but come in here and order a foot long subway meal for lunch. They’ll ask you if you’re a student. Even if you say no, they’ll give it to you for the price of a 6″ sub. How awesome is that? Otherwise, this Subway is as good as any.
