This subway is next door to my garden apartment and after complaining numerous times the management and owner of this subway is still pushing the hot air from their kitchen and disgusting baked bread smell directly into my backyard instead of having a proper ventilation system that pushes it onto 2nd avenue. We pay a fortune for our apartment and I will not tolerate another Fall of not being able to sit in our(expensive) backyard and I can’t even open my windows! My entire apartment reeks of baked bread because they have all of the heat from their restaurant pumping directly into my backyard illegally!

The worst subway I’ve ever been to. Came here on a Sunday night and ordered an oven roasted chicken breast. The sandwich was unrecognizable after it was manhandled by the guy making the food. Just terrible.

This restaurant doesn’t even deserve a star… NEVER again will I go to to the Subway restaurant at 5772nd Ave off of 32nd street. All of their workers are rude and unprofessional. After I ordered my sandwich I was ready to hand him my credit card when I wanted to confirm the price of my meal with my co-worker he got annoyed and told me I was taking too long. i merely replied sir I just want to make sure i’m getting charged correctly. He said hurry up I got a line, I was going to leave it alone because there wasn’t even that many people in the shop… I went to give him my card and the SOBSNATCHES my card from my hand… NOW I was livid, I told him dude slow down that’s not how you treat customers… His response«I DON’T CARE»… NOW I WASFUMING! I dont care? I told him you know what I want my money back I threw the sandwich at him(when I really wanted to reach over and punch him in his I dont care face) and told him I’ll make sure you’ll be loosing quite a few customers from NYU trust me… seems like all of the workers have the same attitude at that place. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed in my life. Now to make a complaint with Subway themselves

They make the WORST subway sandwiches ever, unless you like wrapping paper squished in your sandwich along with globs of dressing and minimal filling. Oh, and whatever you do, do not even dare ask for it to be re-made because they will call you a b**ch, twice. I’m definitely filing a complaint with corporate.

This Subways is a hit or miss. Its the closest to my job but I usually bypass it and walk a little further to the 33st one. Rain, snow or heat, I keep it moving. The customer service lacks here.

Ok, I wouldn’t normally write a review for a Subway because, well… for the most part a Subway is a Subway is a Subway. But BEWAREOFGETTINGRIPPEDOFFHERE! I have only been here twice and BOTH times there was a discrepancy in my bill, on the part of the guy who seems like the manager or owner. The first time my change was $ 1 short, which I noticed before walking out and corrected with him. Didn’t think a whole lot of it but just today he overcharged me(adding an extra item to my total). Each instance seems innocent enough on its own but when it happens two out of two times, and neither mistake is in your favor, and the same man rang you up… well I can’t help but think. Even if it’s not a deliberate scam, which is possible, then at least beware of mistakes! I’ll be walking the extra two minutes to the other Subway from now on, thankyouverymuch. *UPDATE: So I went here again today despite my experience. Only because it’s 7 degrees out, Fairway’s payment systems were down(no free lunch?), and I was not about to walk very far. But I kid you not, I just watched the lady in front of me be given incorrect change. Short, of course, not in her favor. By a different guy this time. COMEONWITHTHISPLACE!

This is my local subway close to my job and its always crowded but the lines move quick. Prices are reasonable and I love the monthly $ 5 footlong specials. Staff are friendly and I am always in and out withiout any problems.

I ordered a sandwich at the 5512nd Ave subway store and presented a coupon for a free six-inch sandwich. The coupon was given to me by my mother in my Christmas stocking. My mother bought a gift card and received the coupon. The clerk was very rude and proceeded to tell me that, «You don’t get anything free in this world.» He also asked me in an accusatory fashion, «Where did I get this?» It was as if he thought I had doctored up the coupon and was trying to snow him for a $ 5.00 sandwich! I ended up leaving the store without my lunch. I will never eat at this establishment again. And I plan on telling everyone at my work not to eat at this subway. The guy was rude and treated me with such disrespect. I will never frequent this place again.

Terrible. Bread like cardboard. Skimped on the meat. Yuck. Worst subway I’ve been in

I recently walked in and walked out because of how segmented the pricing of the different Subs have become. It would seem the Sub prices fluctuate with the stock market each week. Kept it simple and got a hero from a deli two blocks down. The staff is still cool though.

What an idiot I am. I don’t even know his name. But this guy makes the best subway sandwiches in the world!!! He prepares them with care and is not shy when it comes to providing abundant food. You can feel the«love» he puts in those creations. When I see him in the morning, he immediately gets me in a great mood. And when I attack my lunch with voracious hunger, I always think about his skilled and caring hands. I know, I know… I should know his name… I should get it and make it public for the whole world to benefit. But doing so might make him lose his job… Y? A LOTOFFOOD! That’s y. :-)

Decent place, with cool staff, they do their job quickly and properly. I come here quite often for a brunch or lunch with my younger brother. And those guys have memorized what kind of sandwich I’m taking every time, which is certainly a plus. However, I run onto some unpleasant people from my neighborhood there with an amusing frequency, but hey, that’s my own problem.

It’s a Subway so you basically get a Subway sandwich. If you’ve ever been to a Subway you know exactly what that’s like(for better or worse). What I like most about this branch is that they always put on a huge amount of vegetables on, no matter what sandwich you get. So even if you feel a bit guilty for getting a sub or eating at Subway, it’s like you’re getting a nice size salad for yourself too, and that’s not bad. The staff here is pretty good, they make your food quickly and you are in and out in a few minutes(even when there’s a line). This is in direct contrast with other branches I’ve been to, where the workers look like they were recruited on Mars and are still struggling to learn what lettuce is. Oh, I don’t know what’s up with Subway’s toasters but they totally stink here. I’ve never had such routinely poorly toasted bread ever. How many times do they have to put the bread in to get it crispy? Jesus Christmas. Three stars, as far as fast food sandwich shops go.
