Typical fast food place. Staff was quick and friendly. The bread was hot and fresh and all the veggies looked fresh. The place is clean

It’s Subway… your typical sandwich chain restaurant. If you’re in the mood for a sub then head on over to this location. They have a couple of five dollar foot long specials, but not nearly enough deals as they always seem to promote through their advertising. The staff was friendly and quick. I was in and out with a $ 5 foot long in less than 10 minutes, which isn’t bad at all. It seems clean and sanitary for the most part. I will pass by this specific location more often since the Subway’s nearest to my office is just plain horrible.

standard subway. nothing special in either a good way or bad way. perfect for a sandwich at reasonable prices right in midtown.

Okay, so it’s a subway. That means the highest it can get is 4 stars right from the get go. But this one simply fails to live up that ideal. They do have the five dollar special with signs everywhere, BUT, don’t expect to get the deal without reminding the cashier twice while he/she’s ringing you out. I saw this happen with person after person at lunch today. They skimp on the toppings. «I’d like olives» is almost a bad grammatical joke as they will pluralize your olive by maybe one. I had about five olives on my foot long, and there was a language barrier such that«more olives» was met with confusion. I rode it out, thinking that at least I’d have my sub, but my sub– much alike many other subways I’ve been to had a bad case of «stale bread» syndrome. The exteriors of the entire role were kind of crunchy. If you like your subs toasted, you may not notice this. also, they don’t cut your sub in half. They’re «pre-cut,» and the pre-cut has to be in quotes, because though the knife line was there I was really just ripping my sub open. Okay, so the positives include: it’s clean, sanitary, the cashier only handled money and did not touch food, they take cards, and it may be the cheapest sandwich within a block of the empire state building.
