I cant even spare one star! Minus five stars for this joint! Went in with BOGO free coupon with any foot long or 6″ sub and manager forced me to pay more than what i got. Just Because it was a $ 5 footlong sub i got he would charge 9 bucks! What a rip off! Terrible service! Never go there! Disrespectful to customers!

Least favorite subway ever. They never take promotions. I found two other nearby subways that will provide better service.
Against my better judgement I went there today with my coworker for a soup. I was informed «we do not make soup». At least they have their cookies.
By the way don’t try to redeem your points here, they’ll stare at you like you have three heads.
You’ve been warned. Head over to 3rd avenue and 33rd street or 5th ave and 31st for better service.

Consistently abrupt and rude service. Blatant disregard for promotional materials (sign says free cookie with any purchase on Feb. 29, manager says they’re not participating in the promotion… do they even have this choice?)
I’ll be making the walk down to the 23rd St Subway from now on, despite the distance.
You can take this seriously, as I’m the Foursquare mayor of this location (unfortunately) and have been more than 25 times, but I just can’t take it anymore.

Meh. I only go here because it is relatively close to my office. Nothing special about it. Decently clean, staff is ok, and it is cheap while also on the healthy side. They carry the same sandwich and breakfast options as all the rest.

Went in today with a subway coupon that states «get a regular breakfast sandwich free with purchase of any drink» So before ordering I ask if they accept the coupon. They said yes we do. So I ordered my sandwich. The guy manager gives me a plastic cup for soda. I said I wanted a coffee. So he hands me a small cup of coffee, yet hear this, he charges me the price of the soda $ 1.99 not the $ 1.29 for the coffee. He saids for this deal, I have to charge you the highest price of the drink. I was so freaking mad. It’s dishonest to charge what you want when the coupon clearly states «purchase of any drink»

The sandwich came out exactly as I’d ordered it. That was fine. It’s a Subway. What do you want? Filet mignon?
Anyway, I went to pay and was charged more than I should. The turkey footlong meal is $ 7.50 on the board, and I was charged over $ 9. When I asked why, the guy said «Turkey isn’t part of the deal anymore». I balked at this, said if that’s so, why is there no sign saying so? Why is the turkey still on the brightly lit sign?
«Oh, the manager hasn’t changed the sign.»
I said «Oh, so if I call Consumer Affairs, who’s right? You or me?»
He finally reached into the drawer and gave me $ 2.

The signage is all still up, and the lights are on sometimes, but the metal gate is down and this SUBWAY appears to be closed, although it has at least been open once recently.
Does anyone know what the deal is? It’s still listed from the corporate page…

This Subway stands alone amongst other Subways. It has two production lines and a sandwich assembly staff that works together as a team.
I am the world’s worst customer who screwed up an order for a coworker’s sandwich, and the Subway staff graciously fixed the sandwich (added a lot of meat for free) in the middle of chaos at lunch hour.
Like the first reviewer pointed out, unfortunately the sandwich counter service at Subway’s 437 Park Ave South, Manhattan, NY 10 016 location is quicker and better than at my local Subways.

Yes, I’m writing a review about Subway. And no, it does not pertain to ALL Subways.
This one is special.
I have never seen a more dedicated crew of «sandwich artists» than the ones you find on Park Avenue South. They are ALWAYS friendly, fast, and accurate. The line will be out the door but that never deters me because I always know I will STILL have my sandwich and be on my way in less than 15 minutes.
I don’t know who owns this particular franchise, but bless you for being across the street from me.
