On the smaller side for a subway but its encased in glass and has outdoor seating. The food is what you would expect from any subway but has some nicer ambience if I can say that about a subway. A lunch time go to for me.

Thanks for FOODPOISONING! This was my favorite lunchtime Subway until THEYTRIEDTOKILLME! I can now ever eat at a Subway without having to recall memories of the burning pain associated with vomiting up undigested jalapeños.

One of my favorite SUBWAY locations to go to right here in midtown manhattan. I feel like I get something better than what is at some of the other subway spots. I think a $ 5 footlong is just what you mean sometimes in the middle of the day at lunch time. — The 12pm lunch crowd lines are really long but sometimes I don’t eat until 2:15 or so, then you are doing ok. –Nothing too crazy then with the lines, I like the staff here and they do keep the lines moving. Great job guys. I usually get the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriakyi or cold cuts footlong. –Always nice to LOAD up on toppings. I love the sandwich with Italian Herbs and Cheese Bread, American or Provolone cheese, Banana Peppers, Lettuce, Tomoatoes, Cucumbers and Red Onions. Also, include some mustard or honey mustard or Lite Ranch for some flavor to go with some oil and vinegar.

If you time it right at lunch you can skip the long queue of similarly cash strapped underpaid over worked junior financiers and get a delicious footlong that won’t break the bank. Always plenty of staff in there so the line keeps moving.

Much better than it’s sister location on 46th and Lex with a better assembly line of service. They were actually more diversified too, unlike other locations where the workers are all Latino or all Indian, this spot had an Asian, Latino, Indian, and Other. Everyone was on point and impersonally methodical but all I needed to know was that The Vegetables & Sauce Guy wasn’t going to stiff me. He put just enough Southwest on my Spicy Italian and loaded me up with all the veggies I wanted. I had to tell him to put some more here and there but it wasn’t because he didn’t put enough. I’m just greedy. It actually has outdoor seating and is located away from the busy-ness of Park. It’s a bit smaller inside than most Subways but that’s fine because the whole place is encased by glass walls and a curved glass roof, adjacent to a quiet courtyard. Zen-like actually. No Subway deserves more than 3-stars(until they get some prosciutto in there) but this place gets the fourth due to geographical circumstances. Subs are also $ 5.44 here. Maybe it was a city-wide tax or something. No more 2-cents. I will note that the lady in front of me ordered a Veggie sub and the guy threw on turkey instead. Instead of throwing the whole thing out, he put the turkey back, threw the lettuce out and kept the bread, but put it to the side for the next unsuspecting victim. I can see a lot of finance people getting pissed about that. Whoops!
