Some of their workers They don’t put good enough ingredients in their sandwiches I think their are very chip they don’t give you ingredients like other subways stores

Terrible subway chain restaurant portions is just off. Usually when I get a spicy Italian it made with two slices of both pepperoni and salami going across the sub but only got one slice. They also completely stuffed it with lettuce and gave me bad looking tomatoes which I had to take out after. It was also drowning with mayo, vinegar, and oil that made me upset that I only ended up taking a couple of bites out of.

After a way too long Manhattan LGBT pride parade the last Sunday in June, I made it here miraculously around 7:30 PM. I ordered a 6-​inch Buffalo chicken sandwich on wheat. I was asked about cheese and I chose Swiss. after it was heated I asked for lettuce cucumber onions banana pepper ring and jalapeño slices and ranch dressing.

I’ve been to many subways in NYC, some have been a total miss, but this one makes a good sandwich.

Great spot. Clean. There are two male Asian employees who are brilliant and overhearing them made me laugh all through my lunch. Go, hilarious duo!

What I love about this place is that they can accept orders online. I work couple blocks away from this place and their is no way I can call to order food due to some restrictions we have, so this place is a live saver when it comes to affordable lunch.
They prepare everything very fast and make sure all details are covered since one mistake in serving the topping can ruin your entire food. All veggies are fresh and the bread is cooked the same day. I always get a tuna sub and let me say, it tastes so great, that I don’t even care even if its from Subway :)
This place is very overcrowded during the lunch time. So save your time, order online and pick up your food on the go.

I walked into subway not knowing anything i want. The guy at the counter went through everything with me, starting from what bread I want. Pretty soon i had a tasty subway sandwich ready to be eaten!

Okay so you won’t find the best subs in the city at Subway but this particular shop is well run, affordable and staffed by friendly and efficient help. One drawback, as pointed out by Sam F in his review is that it is not the best lit or most attractive Subway shop in the chain.
Today I stopped by and had the $ 2 six inch Italian sub on flat bread and I must say, it was quite good. The guys working there are from Nepal and are both friendly and helpful which is a plus over some of the other Subway franchises I have visited.
So while I would prefer a local sub where the meat does not come in pre-​weighed portions, I enjoyed my sub, found it very reasonably priced and would stop in again!

Wow, can’t believe Subways is getting a 4 star overall rating on Unilocal!
So I initially wanted to rate a chain just to ding em with a 1 or 2 star review and even out my score distribution. But… Babu kept calling me «boss» every third word, and i kinda liked that. Then whomever made my sandwich had difficulty splitting some of the pepperoni and salami pieces, resulting in double meat in some spots. Sure, it won’t happen every time, but hey, every now and then the sun shines on even a dog’s ass. (And I’m sure I will come here many more times, but cannot in good conscience put them at a same star rating as some of the other unique places in nyc.)

I like eating at this Subway location. Its located around my job area. Clean, spacious, nice window watching positioned seats.
The workers are patient when taking your orders. It gets crowded around lunch time from 12 – 2. So seating may be scarce.
I always get a meatball sub from Subway. I prefer tuna but I per fer Blimpie’s tuna even more. Subway doesn’t really mix enough mayo in the tuna for my tasting. But then again its suppose to be healthy… yea yea yea. blah blah blah.
I like the free refills.

Always have good quick service.

Big fan of this place when you get tired of spending $ 10 for a sandwich in local NYC joint. Probably cheapest, healthiest thing you can buy for a meal is 6′ veggie or turkey.

Okay– I feel a little ridiculous reviewing a Subway, but as far as Subways go, this has got to be the best one I have been to in NYC. It is clean, spacious, and well lite. The service is always very friendly. And they do not skimp on the toppings at all. I actually feel like they care about making you a good sub while every other Subway in the city could care less. I live by a ton of sandwich shops that are very good, but I do find myself sneaking into this Subway more than I’d like to admit because they make a damn good sandwich. I guess my point of comparison is with the Subway at Rockefeller Center which always results in receiving a mediocre sub after going through the most stressful ordering experience ever.

This isn’t the nicest subway I’ve ever seen. It’s kind of dirty and dark, they still make ok sandwiches and it’s pretty cheap which is nice.

Subway is one of very few chain or fast food restaurants that I can stomach and not feel bad about eating at occasionally. And there’s one near work! That means that for a mere $ 5, I can eat relatively healthily and not spend a lot of time — or money — on lunch.
Yesterday, around 4 in the afternoon — yesterday got crazy — I ran out and was quite happy to get a six-​inch BMT and bag of chips. Fast food that’s not too bad for you!
This location was pretty empty at this time of day, but the staff was attentive and helpful, and the service quick. And the place looked clean, which is a huge plus given some of the places in the neighborhood.
