I finally got to try this hidden spot today. Proper coffee and delicious goodies! Friendly staff too. A great addition to the neighborhood.

My wife was hunting down Mother’s Day cards at the Hallmark store across the street & I spotted this ‘grab & go’ venue, which was timely as I needed caffeine on a lazy Saturday afternoon. I went with the cortado, which was extremely tasty & perfectly-​balanced. The espresso beans were lightly toasted & mild — where other places needlessly over-​roast & could leave one’s stomach in knots after. My 2 kids (4.5 & 3), who are both picky eaters, were taking turns fighting over a very delicious high-​quality almond croissant!
Jeff was extremely warm, articulate, & professional and it was refreshing to see a ‘hands on’ owner taking genuine pride in his craft.
I am a long time Unilocal consumer — however this is only my 2^nd review & just wanted to take the time to put in a good word since this is a very welcome addition to Fidi.

This is my new favorite post lunch coffee spot. Everyone is really friendly and coffee is great (a bit pricey side but it is FiDi after all). AND to the person below with one star, I do not have a membership (and none of my coworkers who enjoy going there does) and we were never treated poorly or differently. Everyone I met who worked there were exceptionally nice.

Coffee not that great, place is too small. A bit pricey for what its worth there are better options around.

I love this place. With my crazy work hours, it has been great having it nearby. The French press membership has been a huge savings, and it is not comparable to the Starbucks coffee I used to get down the block. My favorite part of this place is the awesome, friendly staff. I truly look forward to stopping in here.
I wish there was a comment option for reviews such as Rojan’s. I am not a paid reviewer, and I love this place. I came here for a month before joining the membership and was alway greeted and treated the same. Granted, I also walked into the shop with a positive attitude.

Here’s what makes this place great: Integrity.
Yes, I have only been here one time but sometimes you can just tell in an instant. Directly from the website, it states, «CERTIFIED ORGANIC + FAIR TRADE SOURCED, HAND-​SELECTED + LOCALLY ROASTED, CRAFTED WITH LOVE» and I believe it.
Space: Super small but why do you need a lot of space in a coffee shop especially if you’re just getting coffee on the go? It’s efficient and pleasant.
Staff: Well there was only one man, I’m assuming the owner, but he was delightful. The four of us twenty-​somethings barged in around 1pm on a Saturday, extremely obnoxious and hungover and he was nothing but a gem to us! Sometimes people don’t realize how far a friendly smile and great service will get you!
Coffee: I read a review below stating the coffee isn’t that great… When I go to my frequented boutique coffee shops down in the DC area I ask for 5 – 6 shots of espresso so I think I know what I’m talking about when I say the coffee is great! I also appreciate that it is locally sourced. I subbed dairy with almond milk and it was delicious!
Food: My friend got an almond cookie and it was bomb. He mentioned the bakery that it came from and that the desserts and pastries are baked fresh every morning but I was nursing my hangover so I wasn’t listening (sorry)!
If I lived in New York down the street on Maiden like my friend did I would swing by here every morning and opt for the $ 39/​month membership for sure (unfortunately I was just visiting for the weekend). If you are close by on your way to work in FiDi, drop in!

I tried out the Americano. I forgot to add sweetener when i got to work, I normally use truvia… but I did not need it. That’s when you know the coffee is good! I will come back but of course as other coffee spots around the area minus food carts and dunkin, this spot is on the pricey side. However, when you want good quality coffee, you got to pay for it.

I can tell all the above 5 star reviews are paid reviews and this place doesn’t deserve even one star.
I heard about this place in Time out new york as it was offering $ 39 per month for unlimited coffee. I was excited and wanted to give it a try as I work in Fulton Street. I had to look hard for this place because this place is very small.
I entered the place and it was dark. I ordered a regular coffee and they charged me $ 3.37 for a small coffee which I found a bit pricey. Coffee was ok. But my main complain was the server behaved differently for different customers. As i was adding sugar to my coffee, a regular monthly customer came and all of sudden they greeted him nicely and offered a free fresh pastry. I was still there and they didn’t even bother to ask if i was interested.
I can tell that $ 3.27 was all they could get from me as i ll not be going back there again. I am fine with my Starbucks in Dey street.

Explored this new coffee shop in FiDi. Quite unique experience with staff in store. The service is local, hearty, and exceeded all my expectation.
Expresso tastes great so does the French press — a little sour, with chocolate aroma. They also offer monthly deals for frequent visitors. Would be a value deal if you work nearby.

Amazing coffee and awesome people behind the counter. Cozy place so it gets crowded because the coffee is fantastic, so they serve through the window when there’s no more room inside. Will definitely be back for a croissant. Thinking about signing up for the unlimited coffee membership…

Love this place! I walked around for and hour trying to find somewhere that was not a Starbucks or dunkin donuts and found this little place. They French press all the coffee they make (my fav btw). The guys there are pretty nice and also professional. I was so excited that I forgot to put sugar in my coffee. I will be going there every time I’m in the neighborhood.

Amazing coffee made by pleasant, professional staff. Coffee made using French Press. In my opinion the best way to make coffee. Really good. I never rave about coffee places. The best coffee I ever had was in a café in Rome. Didn’t think anything would compare. If I can’t be in Rome, then the coffee has to be from the Daily Grind.

Decided to come here on my way to work when I didn’t feel like waiting on the long line at Starbucks, and glad I did. It’s a super cute little coffee shop, and the guy behind the counter was so friendly! He suggested their cappuccino which was delicious. Needless to say, this is my new favorite coffee shop in town.

The staff at this place is awesome, as well as their french press (no drip coffee) and espresso. Very good and pleasant coffee.
I’m looking into their membership right now as I work in the area. As others have said you may have to wait a little bit because the place is small, but it has a great vibe

Just finished a meal at Les Halles and wanted to get coffee elsewhere. Clean, simple, and polite people. It’s a small cute place that has the simplest menu of teas and coffees. There were also small to-​go salads and cookies that would make it a easy ‘grab and go’ stop. Oh– the mocha and latte both had a clean finish. No burnt taste or over steamed milk taste– so giving it two thumbs up!

Very good coffee, organic and fair trade. The owners are friendly and very customer oriented. The subscription is well worth getting. Place is tiny and you may have to wait a couple of minutes, but worth the time. Want to encourage others since this is a place that I really want to survive in this neighborhood which lacks anything like it.

Really like this place! I got the monthly unlimited french press/​discounted specialty drinks.
The people are cool and want to know your name and know what to get you when you approach the window!

Love this place! The service is superb and they have a great selection of healthy snacks that are far superior to those in most coffee shops. They also offer a membership option where you can just pay a monthly membership for unlimited coffee throughout the month. Amazing!
