Bad experience for the third time. These people are not organized at all. I ordered a croissant and they took 12 min before give it to me. This happened because they forgot to pass the order. I asked where my croissant was and they had a bad attitude. Plus this location was not even crowded. I wonder if the manager is present all the time. I believe someone should control them and see how they work.

Worst. Dear whoever hires people: Please stop hiring anyone. People in midtown come here with limited time to deal with inexperienced employees, trainees, and unfocused employees. Srsly I have tried every Starbucks in the area and they all suck. Stop hiring idiots. THX Also watching my drink get made and 2 employees flirting. Delaying processs, stopping to talk closer bc they can’t understand what each other is saying b(maybe if it’s too loud(because of large amount of customers) to hear each other talk about unrelated things, that means you should stop and focus on UR job)

I used to call this the«secret Starbucks» before their renovation that made it a Starbucks Reserve store. Their doors(one entrance on 7th ave, but I usually use the 34th St. entrance) weren’t as clearly marked as the one roughly across the street. It’s much more spacious now and there’s a large increase in unique seating. Not many tables, but there are plenty of long benches. Staff is competent and speedy. I prefer it when they ask for your name so that people are less likely to take your drink, but I think they only do this during particularly busy times. Now that seating is fairly ample and the heat is on, there are lots of tourists coming in here to stay cool.

Since I’m here once a week, I feel like I need to update my review. Lately this spot had been more crowded. Perhaps it’s because the weather is changing and my hot coffee order is now usually an iced coffee order which means I actually have to wait for my handcrafted beverage. Anyway, I was last here 2 days ago on a Friday. The barista got my name and my drink wrong. I know it was my drink bc when the girl rang up my order she told the barista my name was«Amanda» instead of «Samantha». It was super busy so I didn’t bother correcting her. My drink took exactly 11 mins to be served after I ordered/paid. I paid with the ap on my phone so I kept referencing the time of my transaction on the ap as I waited for my drink. I’m not sure why it always takes this long to get out iced coffees at Starbucks,(not just at this location, but in general), but it’s inconvenient. My order was simple enough(grande unsweetened iced coffee), but the barista made it sweetened. Unfortunately, since it took so long for the drink to come out, I didn’t take my first sip until I was already halfway down the block and already left the store. If I realized earlier and wasn’t already late for work I probably would have had them remake it. Since I like my coffee black with nothing in it, this was really hard to drink. I drank about half as it sat at my desk all morning and eventually threw it away; sad waste of $ 2.89. Long story short, the wait for special drinks and iced coffees is longer in warmer months. Line to order moves quickly, really great for hot coffee orders. Be prepared for a longer wait time if you have a specialty/iced order.

Stopped here with my fiancé to get out of the cold & grab a little snack. For such a central location, there was absolutely no line and many seats available — including a couple of barstools right by the window! The dreaded tourist ratio was definitely in our favor, as the place was pretty quiet & no one was asking for directions. The inside is airy with super high ceilings & a very pretty bookshelf filled with their usual mugs & things. I got my regular(complicated) latte & it tasted weaker than usual — maybe they forgot the extra shot? Whatever it was, I didn’t like it as much. But my fiancé’s drink was great, so .? I’d probably give them another chance to get my drink right. It is kinda complicated, after all. But if you’re looking for a less-crowded Starbucks for a break from the busy crowds, this is a good option.

Out of all the Starbucks I pass on my way waking to work, 2 right on 7th and the 2 in Times Square, this one always has the shortest line and shortest wait time for your drink after you order!

A small Starbucks with a few tables available to sit. It’s a good location if you just want to grab a quick drink and head out, but I imagine it gets pretty busy here during the week.

No star if possible. I give up after one incident of a racist comment, 4 different occasions of not getting my drink. I just give up… sucks when bad workers make it bad for everyone else working there

Horrendous service. Picked up some drinks for my coworkers and myself, my coworker asked for a cookie dough frap. I did not know that was a secret menu item so I simply ordered the cookie dough frap and ended up receiving some sort of Oreo cookie crumb frap. Since I didn’t know anything about cookie dough fraps I took it thinking maybe the chocolate chips in he cookie dough might make it look the way that it did. My coworker said it wasn’t the right drink so I called and spoke with a woman to see if my coworker could bring the drink back and exchange it for cookie dough. The woman I spoke with on the phone stated my coworker needed my receipt, which I stated I did not get because I paid with the Starbucks app. I asked if I sent my phone with my coworker if they could find the transaction. The woman replied that they could but she was too busy to deal with this right now which was shocking that she would be so rude. So I sent my coworker with my phone and he returned pretty quickly because they wouldn’t exchange the drink for something else, even though they have a guarantee that you’ll like your drink or they’ll make you another. The woman I had spoken to over the phone was there and was talking to another starbucks employee about my coworker while still at the counter so he advised her that he could hear her talking about him and she told her it was a conversation between herself and another employee. They advised him that the cookie dough frap must have been a secret menu item because they don’t offer one, which would have been nice for them to tell me when i ordered to avoid the entire situation. So my coworker left with the same strange frap that he had set out to exchange.

This Starbucks will always be busy due to their close proximity to Penn Station. With that being said I have to state the obvious. Morning rush here is BUSY as hell. You are better off brewing your own coffee, drinking it, brew another batch and then head to work than come to this location for it. Service is prompt and friendly however. I ordered the Eggnog latte and it tastes a little off. Too heavy on either the milk or cream I guess. That is what happens when you have a morning rush. Price point is the same as all other Starbucks locations. Seating? FORGETABOUTIT. You might have to bring your own bar mat or a$$ pillow to sit in here. Tables HOGGED, seats HOGGED, and outlets I don’t even think they have because it they did it would be… you guessed it, HOGGED. Mmm…I just sudden have a craving for ham steak… That you won’t find here either. SKIP during morning for sure.

2.5 stars. but I bumped it up to 3 for the friendly service. This is the busiest Starbucks ever. So why does the coffee taste burnt about thirty percent of the time?! There is no reason for that with such high volume of customers. If I could manage my time a little better in the morning I would start going to another Starbucks a block down.

It’s FAR from the worst Starbucks in Manhattan. They burn the coffee like all the rest of them, sure, but the guy walks my order to me when I wait by the counter in the morning. That’s better service than any other I’ve been to.

If I could crown the worst Starbucks ever, this would be it. My coworker and I came here to work. An employee told us there was only a single outlet in the whole entire place — and it was being hogged by a person charging his phone who didn’t even make a purchase. Not that it mattered anyway since all the other tables had leftover used napkins, mixers, and drink stains. The drink counter itself was like an assembly line– just banging out drinks to the line of 10+ people. My hot vanilla latte tasted like they took a watered down old iced one and heated it back up again. After finding a table, a long line began to form outside the bathroom. An employee had to key in nearly an hour later, only for the stench of urine to permeate through the whole shop, and a homeless man to come out and yell at the employees for unfair service. Never again.
