I love coffee, so I come everyday because it’s convenient. The staff is nice, but they are SUPERSLOW… I’ve had to walk out a few times. Typical Starbucks.

I agree with another couple of posts I saw on here. The staff was very friendly despite constant business. The place was a little cramped(I feel like even for NYC). But, the staff seemed very friendly. Yeah sure at times they seemed like they could move more efficiently but they always stayed friendly and it was pretty darn busy. I came here three mornings in a row and it was always pleasant even if I had to wait. The food and coffee was well… Starbucks. I didn’t notice much difference. I mainly wanted to comment on the staff.

The staff is awesome here. They’re all very friendly and efficient despite the constant busyness. Usually pretty quick with the orders as well. I definitely prefer this Starbucks over others in the area.

TL;DR Isn’t the cleanest Starbucks and doesn’t have the most attentive baristas. The wait: 3⁄5 The line is regularly 10+ people here. This is due to many outside factors but the ones that Starbucks can control are the ones we care about. In the morning hours 0800 – 1000 they only had 1 staff making drinks. One taking orders, two ringing orders in, and two in the back doing something I assume was helpful. Similarly when I come in around 1600 – 1800 they have a similar dismal setup but it’s not as noticeable because the line is drastically shorter. But with all that said the longest I’ve waited here is 10 minutes. The seating: 2⁄5 There is almost 0 seating here. I’m spoiled coming from DC, a city where square footage is more like an assumption than a luxury. But here there are 5SMALL tables against the wall allowing two people at each table to sit. There is one more table against the window. There is a standing bar with charging pass along the wall– helpful but normally covered by patrons in line. Cleanliness: 2⁄5 This place isn’t clean. While you don’t see much(if any) trash lying around at tables or milk stations behind the bar where your drinks are being prepared is a MESS. Ambiance: 3⁄5 not a good place to work. They’re blaring music(good music, Weekend, Bieber, etc) at all hours of the day. Standard free Google Starbucks Wifi. No privacy at all. Staff: 3⁄5 they have always been friendly when taking my orders. But the staff making the drinks hardly ever look up or smile. They’re not very approachable when you’re correcting a drink order or asking for a status of a drink. Usually they’re singing to the music or talking to each other. Drink Quality: 4⁄5 I order a Mango Black Tea Lemonade or a Soy Latte religiously. I always know if a Starbucks is consistent with quality drinks because of my «no foam» request. THEYJUSTFLATOUTIGNOREIT. A no foam latte requires a spoon to hold back the foam soy milk while pouring the soy into the cup, then to fulfill a «no foam» request you have to use that same spoon to scoop the remaining foam from the top of the latte. This Starbucks just pours everything into the cup– F what you requested! In hindsight since this Starbucks is by no means sparkling clean it may have been more sanitary to not use a spoon when portioning my drink. Still, when you get foam you’re getting less coffee and that doesn’t make me happy.

Very busy here. It was packed when I arrived. I thought the one in Penn Location would be more crowded. I waited several minutes for my drink. The servers were working at decent speed I guess, but it was a pretty long wait. I wanted my iced caramel macchiato with whipped cream and caramel. They really gave me like a spoonful of whipped cream only!!! And it melted too fast! Anyway, they added a good amount of caramel but, the caramel got all over the cup and was messy. There is little seating space; to is more of a on-your-go type of Starbucks.

Slow and unfriendly staff. Long line one register despite a ton of staff behind the register. Find another Starbucks nearby.

There’s always a crazy line at Starbucks everywhere we go, so it’s a given there’s going to be some wait time no matter what! So the«long wait» didn’t bother me. However, the Starbucks at this location are very efficient(the morning staff). Well, let’s just say there’s good & bad. For over than a week, their blender at this particular location is broken. It’s odd to me that a billion dollars franchise company takes more than a week to fix one of the main sources of drinks maker. Disappointed, and also one of the staff fail to notify me before taking my order. Although they were very nice and friendly, however, unprepared due to a problem that lasted for more than a week.

I visited this location while visiting the city. It was close to where I stayed and was open early. The other Unilocal reviews are spot on, but I got what I wanted without much fuss. The coffee was great and they were nice enough to give me a new one when I accidentally added cream to one of my drinks.

I’m not a fan of this location it’s always busy and the lines are usually long. Not sure if this has anything to do with the location but it’s one of the smaller Starbucks. It tends to get overcrowded quickly. If you’re pressed on time this is not the right location to go to.

I ordered a turkey pesto sandwich and because I am extremely lactose, I asked kindly for the waiter to take off the cheese. Her response: «I’ll try.» Are you kidding me… the sandwich is already cold so taking off the cheese is easy to do before it is heated. I get the sandwich and right before my eyes the gooey goodness is inside. Note to everyone– don’t come to this branch.

I can totally multitask… Like for example I can look at my phone AND ignore people at the same time! Why people go to Starbucks… –Some people cant make coffee. –Some people have a discrimination palate. –Some people like the standardization… they know they are going to get the same thing made the same way every time… same reason people go to chain restaurants. –Some people want to get away from home. –Some people dont have the time to make a cup of joe! I came here to grab a Frap and it was packed! the seating area felt like it was over lapping each other… ugh…I had to stand up the whole time… didn’t enjoy my breveage as much I should of… they were pretty quick with my order… sadly there’s no outlet to charge my phone… what the hell!(/。\) !

Starbucks is always great! They were extremely busy but the line went pretty fast. When I got my coffee the barista girl was very nice and complimented my friend and I. It was nice to see that the employees were still trying to be personable even though they were so busy!

Worst Starbucks EVER!!! The servers are rude and either give your the wrong food extra food, They do not return empty cards and they are very immature playing while people are ordering and their display is never full. Oh and I can never get a Venti because its always nasty never done correctly so I have to stick with Garde my chit tea is mostly milk and deal with it or walk to 7th avenue which is the better one!

I don’t normally review Starbucks as there are at least 15 that I visit regularly… but this one«earned» one. First off, the baristas are jacking their jaws off while a line is quickly forming… I finally get my drink and it’s disgustingly sweet. No, I didn’t underestimate the sweetness of the drink I ordered… I know my Starbucks very well(am a VIP of sorts) and this iced PSL had about 2 extra pumps of flavoring in it… I don’t normally complain, but this was complain-worthy. I stand there like a dummy for about 5 minutes before another barista comes over and acknowledges my presence. He is know busy thanks to the line that formed but gladly takes my PSL and remakes it with less flavoring. He handled the situation well and saved this location from earning a negative rating.

I get that everyone wants to get out on time at the end of the day. But it was about 40 minutes before closing and everyone was too busy cleaning up to assist the growing line of customers. Heck, I’d only come in for a canned«Refresher», but getting to the front of the line took way too long. Mind you, I’m not sure just what they were cleaning or how — the place was filthy! Pen marks, stains, and damage all around the register area, it was really unfortunate. I could have given some of this stuff a pass if the staff had at least tried to make up for it, but they were too busy socializing with each other to interact with their customers.

This Starbucks is dirty and disgusting. Not to mention wasteful of water. I was waiting for my drink for 15 minuted and the tap was running the entire time. There must have been 2 spilt drinks on the counter where they make drinks that have the been wiped down. There was a drink spilt on the floor. No one is cleaning up. It seems like they were either understaffed or the employees there do not care about cleanliness or water conservation. See pic for yourself.

Lines move fast! It’s not easy dealing with rude and grumpy New Yorkers awaiting their coffee buzz but this place tries! It’s tiny store so cut it some slack. There are only 4 tables to speak of. Line was out the door when I went in but they were proactive enough to come around the counter and walk down the line to take your order and write it down on your cup. All you had to do was walk up and pay. It’s a small location. Don’t knock it. There are also no bathrooms.

I know what you’re thinking but yes, this location warrants a review. I have been to plenty of Starbucks locations across New York, the country and even the world yet NOTHING is as bad as this location. As it is location right outside my train stop, I have found myself here a little bit too often. I can deal with lines having frequented locations in Midtown & FiDi at peak times but this one is just awful. My qualms: — despite being one of the 423894 Penn Station-area locations, it is still somehow always packed. At any hour of the day, really(mornings, afternoons, closing time). And this would be fine if it weren’t. — extremely understaffed. At any given time I go, there are only 2 – 3 people managing the ever-present long line — somehow always out of soy milk/alternative. For those with dairy-restrictions(myself actually not included) this makes the difference in having to walk over to another location. On multiple visits, arguably the majority of my 20+ visits, they have been out. — in general, they’re just always out of x. In the fall, it’s pumpkin spice. In the winter, it’s peppermint. Year-round, it’s my patience. Only giving +2 stars because staff(that is there) are very kind and patient when dealing with customers. Note to Starbucks HQ/Regional head who may or may not read these — recognize this is a heavily-trafficked location and furnish accordingly!

I hardly ever come to this Starbucks, but will again because it’s so close to me now. The line moves okay and it was nice to see someone stocking up the food stuffs at 5pm. The guy at the register was bleh, but he was probably on a caffine low, so I’m not mad at him. The service was fast, my drink was hot, so no complaints.

Three times now in the past month have I gone around 9 or 10 in the morning on a non-holiday weekday and they’re closed. oh I’m sorry, Starbucks, what time works for you? And when you do manage to open, what’s with the not ever having spinach feta wraps after 9:30? Oh are you onto lunch already? Give me a minute while I just rewrite my entire life around your schedule.
