It’s nice to stop by here. So far I’ve ordered vanilla lattes and holiday drinks. My pumpkin spice lattes were made just right. I do agree with other Unilocalers that this location is understaffed but I usually try to avoid lunch time and busy mornings.

They tried charging me $ 8.80 for a tall(their small) frap on the secret menu. I understand it should be a little more maybe because of the extra ingredients; however, they really shouldn’t be charging over double the price. I go to Starbucks at least 5 times a week and after this incident I will never be returning to this one. The employees are the opposite of gracious and welcoming. I recommend no Unilocal user use this location as I’ve already hindered my friends ability to go to this select Starbucks!

For me who usually only drinks black coffee and expresso, Its increasingly hard for me to appreciate the quality Starbucks is offering.(From the bean selection, taste, and service quality…) I had 5 customers waiting for their coffees when I just finished my order, and waited another 15 minutes to get my cup after they have been making wrong coffees at least twice for other customers. I have to admit that after trying the new generation of coffee shops like blue spoon(next door) or caffe 1668(in TriBeCa) where good quality of coffee beans and higher coffee making standard for the similar price offered at Starbucks, I would only choose S if there is no that kind of coffee shops around…

Tried this location a few times as it is closest to my work. The chai latte is terrible, regardless of time of day. Obviously this drink should be two ingredients, both store bought — but they continuously top of my drink with hot water or cold milk when they miscalculate and have never added enough chai to the drink. 4 $ for nothing!

Fast, friendly service. Place was clean. They had ample seating outdoors and the seats were well kept. Pretty standard given that Starbucks are a dime a dozen in NY, no?

I love love this Starbucks branch! They spell my name right ALLTHETIME, they are very friendly and efficient. I’ve never stayed longer than 5 mins no matter how long the line.

I am a die hard Starbucks lover despite trying not to be. Some locations aren’t managed well. This location is frequently overwhelmed by customers and quite understaffed. I do find the staff very friendly. The very small awkward space doesn’t help the situation. Just got back from a quick jaunt there. Ordered a lemon bar frappacino(now officially on their menu too with the 5 or so other customer picks) and an iced peppermint soy latte. Latte didn’t have peppermint and frappé was made with the wrong ingredients and separated immediately(have had it before and has never done this so much). Employees openly said they didn’t know how to make it and didn’t look it up. Disappointing :(

I came to this location for the first time on a Friday. The line was pretty long but it’s to be expected with the morning rush. I ordered a tall iced white chocolate mocha with whipped cream(my favs) waited about 10 – 15 minutes for a drink that took all but two minutes to make if that. The whipped cream was slightly melted not a big deal. Would definitely go back when it’s a little less crowded.

This is my favorite Starbucks location in the area. The staff is so friendly and the service is quick. I’m usually in and out of there within 5 minutes(10 minutes tops). It is smaller than the average Starbucks but the service is relatively quick so you won’t be waiting long. There is no place to sit, so it’s a ‘grab coffee quick’ kinda place but that’s fine by me because I usually only come here either in the mornings or for a coffee break.

I went to this Starbucks all the time when I lived in a dorm in FiDi. The customer service is probably the best of all the locations in NYC. The staff is really friendly and of course the drinks are really good. The mocha light frappuccino is my favorite. Yes, the line is very long. However, it usually goes by really fast. I’ve never waited in line for longer than 5 – 10 minutes. My only complaint is that the store is really small and there is no place to sit. It’s great if you live in the area of if you’re taking your coffee to go. If you’re looking for a place to sit, go to the Starbucks on Fulton Street.

This used to be the best Starbucks in the Financial District until Raymond left– now it’s slow and no one knows what they’re doing. I’m currently standing here waiting for an iced coffee and had time to write this review while waiting. It used to be so fast and they(Raymond) knew everyone’s drink so they flew through the line. It’s really sad– going to have to find a new one.

Just too small :(Kind of a pain to navigate through this store, but I guess if you are a starbucks fan like myself, you gotta take what you can get.

Friendly staff. Morning rush from 8AM — 10AM and then again for lunch time. It’s sad that they dont have breakfast, ie Bacon egg and cheddar etc. No microwave or toaster. Still love Starbucks though.

I’m convinced this store was made by someone with a really dark sense of humor who asked the question«What happens when you shove over a dozen sleep depraved, caffeine addicted New Yorkers into an area the size of Harry Potter’s cupboard beneath the stairs?». The answer he most likely discovered is that you get a bunch of frustrated humans, long lines, and a general sense of misanthropy.

They messed up my fairly simple orders more than half the time I came here. It became worth it to walk to the Fulton St./Nassau location despite being further away because they were much quicker and never got my drink wrong. The morning rush here is painful, with lots of people squeezing into a small space then waiting. Afternoons were fine and had friendlier, more competent baristas.

Long lines during the morning rush hour and I’ve noticed around 2−3pm. Otherwise, fast service when you need a quick cup of coffee, or let’s be honest, a dessert coffee drink. Not a location where you can sit but they still offer wifi. The other day I saw a guy standing by the window on his laptop so if you are in dire need of wifi you can find a way to make it work here, though I can’t guarantee it’ll be comfortable. You can go up to the Nassau St. location for seating but they aren’t as fast and there’s usually a longer line. Really friendly service here, and I’ve never had my order messed up… yet *knocks on wood* Never had to wait more than a minute for my drink, though I do frequent this place at random times of the day, say around 11am or anytime after 4pm when there is usually no line. The pastry fridge is always fully stocked, too. Always.

Like every other Charbucks, except no where to sit. Works when you need coffee and have nowhere else to go.

I have been to this Starbucks quite a few times in the past month. It’s packed in the morning so I generally avoid it then. That isn’t why I gave it 2 stars. A few days ago I went in and ordered a chai. It usually takes 10 seconds to make but not this time. The woman after me ordered something not quite on the menu and wasn’t from America so she seemed unfamiliar with the Starbucks size lingo. Apparently the confusion she was causing the one barista captivated the one making my latte so the woman(who was quite rude as well) got her venti-hazelnut-extra-shot-of-whatever-iced-decaf before they even made my drink, and my chai latte tasted like milk with some sugar in it and a teaspoon of the tazo chai semi-steamed. I went in today because I figured, maybe that girl was a trainee, and gave them another chance. Today a woman who got the wrong change(or thought she handed the cashier a higher bill than she did) held up the line for about 2 minutes. There was a second register open but all the employees were again mystified by the ruckus. At least my latte was made properly this time. I know it doesn’t sound like these 2 incidents are enough to cause a 2-star review, but the tiny-ness and the general attitudes of the other customers, like their inablity to move to the side so you can get out or the fact that somehow many thought I was the new employee hired solely to hold the door for them, just makes me dislike it that much. Too bad its location is so damn convenient.

This is a tiny Starbucks location nestled in the 100 William St building. There’s really no seating options(or bathroom) inside, however there are a handful of tables outside. It’s busy every day during morning rush hour, but the staff is great and keeps things flowing and reasonably clean.
