Very lazy staff and floors are dirty many times. Inefficient in time management. This place is lucky to have business running well. Inly convenient because it is nearby train station

This place is really hit or miss, but the employees are increasingly inefficient as of late. I had my drink forgotten and then made incorrectly with no apology today. Several weeks ago, I saw the manager and several staff members laugh at a mentally disabled man who asked for a bag multiple times.

You are better off ordering in the store since they don’t read mobile orders correctly and they don’t have anyone in the bar to correct your order! It’s rush hour and I don’t have time to try and find someone to help me when they are all toward the register talking! I had to grab my drink off the bar because I noticed my name on it after waiting five minutes for my drink! Way to start my morning Starbucks!

Ordered my daily grind: a Tall French Roast instead of the Pike Place blend of the Freshly Brewed Coffee. As usual and expected, rich and bold. I see the napkin, sugar and milk station is maintained and fully stocked/clean. Facing the counter, which has the usual selection of baked goods and cold drinks are two sides with basic seating and another side with a bed board like back which gives the seating area a nice comfortable touch. I think you need to buy something to use the restroom unless you catch a staff member extra nice because of the sign that says Restroom is for customers only and has a PIN entry. Not too busy a few hours before the New Year. But not exactly empty either.

After a holiday concert at my child’s school, I really need a restroom before I got on the train. As a Starbucks cardholder, I though for sure I could use the bathroom. I would have even bought something, but nature called first. I asked the cleaning person to let me in the bathroom but she refused until I bought something(even though there was long slow line for the register, and no line for the restroom). She gave the manager’s name and the location’s phone number. My anger somehow pushed aside my bodily need, but I resolved not to buy gift cards this year from Starbucks and to avoid spending money on their expensive drinks as long as I possibly can. For such a rich company, I would expect better treatment. If they are not consistent with the policy, they risk facing a discrimination lawsuit. Seems like a 311 report: A Philadelphia Starbucks prevented a cop from using its restroom. I guess Starbucks does not want NY State Employees to use it without paying, too.

They took out the display in the middle of the floor. This Starbucks has more room now when it gets busy. They added a couple stools to a counter. I like that coffee counter feel. It’s still a prime location at 96th and Lexington. It’s always crowded. There’s not much you can say about Starbucks. They are all the same to me. It’s hit or miss on any day. It may be clean at the tables or may not. Prime seats are always taken by people setting up their office there! I say get what you came for and go!

I leave in the neighborhood. This was a 5 stars Starbucks and as soon as they change staff(about 3 months now) dropped down to 2 stars. Quality of coffee is there but service is terrible… I use to go there almost every day to buy my coffee but now i will choose to go 2 blocks up at Madison that staff is much more helpful, friendly and professional…

Good service. Organized. Remodeling opened areas inside better. Prices & selections same as other locations. Acceptable but not for daily indulgence. Clean.

Poor customer service. I stopped in the store late yesterday afternoon for a hot beverage and was in dire need of using the bathroom first. I asked the barista if there is code required. He didn’t answer but asked me if I bought something. I told him not yet, as I couldn’t think of purchasing a drink when I already had to urinate. He told me that neither he or the other guy could come around to open the door for me at the moment. I then asked if it would matter if I showed him my Starbucks gold level rewards card. He told me I could show it to him, however neither would be able to come around and open door. There were only two people on line to be waited on, neither of whom seemed like they would mind waiting the few seconds it would take one of them to give me access to the restroom. In hindsight, I should’ve asked them. Anyway, I left the store and will not return.

I went here the other day to get my evening jolt, and OYVEY. I expected it to be a mob scene considering it was 5:30pm rush-hour, and the staff didnt know how to handle it. They were all so nice, and what-not. But someone had a trainee making all of the drinks. Supposedly, from hearing her conversation, it was her first day training to make the drinks. Why would you set someone up for an epic disaster like that!!! To give you an example: she was making frap and forgot to put the ice in the blender. Aye aye aye.

I come here because I have to. It’s the closest starbucks. Everyone is really nice but they are really abnormally slow and kind of messy. I look away while they are preparing drinks because things are spilling all over the place and I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my drink if I watched.

i come here just to charge my phone when its low 75% of the time lol. The cons is that they have limted outlets and close to a high school and middle school so packed withh those annoying kids high off sugar from around 2 – 6.

Not impressed, but this the most convenient coming off the train so I have no choice unless I walk 4 blocks. I get he same iced soy latte drink every time but it’s spilling all over or only filled 4⁄5 of the way. However the baristas are really nice. They call each person by name and keep it moving quickly which is pleasant on a busy morning. The espresso itself is never completely right, tastes a tiny bit burned but I drink it anyways.

I walked in stood on line to reload my phone with all the cards I got from my b’day…he asked me if it was a new card I just picked up I said no it’s mine and I want to put it on my phone. He scanned and did what he did then told me I owe $ 19.59??? Not only did he took the money I had on there off he emptied my b’day gift card… I was so pissed I walked out without my food and drink!!!

Not the best Starbucks location out there. The staff is usually nice, except once there was a barista who asked me why I was drinking coffee and whether or not I was actually old enough too(okay…) very awkward experience. Also, my spinach wrap order was once mixed up with someone else’s. Can get pretty chaotic. However location is very roomy, and depending on what time of day you may get a seat to work. It’s Starbucks — consider that how you will. If you need a coffee and don’t care about 100% quality customer service, it’s a perfect place to order and go.

This is one of the Starbucks that I go to on a consistent basis to pick up my usual caramel macchiato. Service here has been decent overall, but today it was just horrible. Not only did my cashier(Carlos) write my name down on the wrong cup(I paid for a venti and I what got appears to be a tall instead) but the barista that made my drink didn’t even fill my drink up completely.

Like any other Starbucks except the girl that was working there knew the band on my shirt. I was wearing a Mogwai t shirt and she told me how she loved Mogwai.(Which is cool because they’re kind of unique in an abstract way where the everyday norm wouldn’t even begin to try and listen to them.) I come here whenever I pass by it. I live on 103rd street and there’s a huge hill you have to climb to visit that Starbucks –when the $h*+ are they going to make a Starbucks in el barrio? It needs to happen.

Very slow service today around noon, despite three different employees being at the register and talking to each other instead of completing their work more efficiently. This is despite a very long line. Around 10AM not so crowded, presumably because many people are at work, but really fills up quickly around 11 AM-noon(lunch time basically).

When this Starbucks opened, I said«Do we really need another Starbucks coffee shop?!» But now I realize that is a perfect place for a Starbucks. There is another one two blocks west, but this one is right next to the 96th St subway. It also has ample seating, which I think is required for Starbucks.
