Simply superb this place is! It’s a small cozy restaurant and their chicken lollipops are to die for! I loved their chinese cuisine too. You have to try hakka noodles and chicken schezwan sauce. Service was very good and the owner seems to be a friendly person too. Overall, had a lovely time here. Super duper happy: D

This is an excellent place to get spicy but delicious Indian food during lunch! I ordered the lamb lunch box with lamb vindaloo and it was amazing! So much food! It included rice, huge piece of naan, daal makhani, somosa, and chutney pack. Best part is that it was ready for me after my short 10 minute walk over there! Very glad I discovered this place close to work!

It’s a small n cozy place with warm n welcoming serving staff! I loved their indo Chinese soups esp sweet corn and they have good fried rice! With very limited indo Chinese options for vegetarians, I feel this place has good variety and taste available! You may wanna give a disclaimer for using less oil! Their Indian portions are also good in taste but limited in number! One should definitely give a try to this place! The chef has a good hand for taste.

A friend and I had a pre-theater lunch yesterday at this gem of a restaurant. We both ordered from the lunch specials and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We kept raving about how absolutely delicious the food was. Their butternut squash soup is easily the best I have ever had. I found myself using naan to get every drop of sauce from my chicken curry. The portion of naan was so generous that there was no way we could eat it all. The price of our meals was extremely reasonable, especially for such amazing food. We will definitely return!

Because so many Unilocalers seemed very happy with deliveries from Spice Symphony, we decided to follow that route last night for dinner. Spice Symphony definitely DELIVERED in a very good way! We ordered the chicken tikka, achari mushrooms, samosas, tandoori chicken, and naan. We had to wait about 40 minutes for the delivery guy to get to our door, but we didn’t consider the wait time unreasonable, and the food was delicious at a reasonable price. When we feel like being lazy but still crave great Indian food, we’ll remember Spice Symphony.

Great lunch special! $ 10 lunch special that includes rice and naan. And the naan is huge so you can make it two meals if you wanted to. I wasn’t a fan of the lentils though. The chicken tikka masala was good and not overly sweet like at other places.

I ordered delivery from this restaurant for my mom and myself and we were not disappointed! While the food took a little over an hour to arrive, it was well worth the wait. The top two dishes I’d like to point out are the samosas and the Chinese bhel. Bursting with flavor and accompanied by all the right chutneys, these two are definitely the reason we’ll be ordering from here again. The person who delivered our order was very sweet and apologized for the delay. Luckily I wasn’t too hungry, so the 1+ hour wait was not that bad.

During a busy day at the office, I love to order their Chicken Lunch Boxes. Usually I get the Chicken Tikka Masala, which is absolutely amazing because there are so many extras that it comes with. I never had a problem with their delivery service before… but on this particular day, when I opened my bag of food all of the contents had spilled! How was I going to eat this?!? Completely angry and dissatisfied I called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. The man who picked up the phone apologized and said the manager was not there. But he did ask if there was something he could do to help me. I explained the situation and he immediately said«no problem miss we will resend you your order. « Although it took some time for the new meal to arrive I truly appreciate how courteous they were! Even the delivery guy apologized! I will definitely continue to order from this restaurant!

If you want amazing Indian food delivered to your door — Spice Symphony is your new best friend. I usually order through Seamless, and delivery has never taken over a half hour. Then again, I’m getting it delivered to the East Village. I’ve never actually gone to their physical location, so I cannot comment on the cleanliness or the service. I can, however, vouch for the authenticity of their food, timeliness of service, and the friendliness of their delivery drivers. Pros: + Great lunch deals(you get an entrée, a serving of rice, a samosa, dal and naan for only $ 9) + All the food! + Their kadhi is to die for! + Fast delivery, huge delivery radius Cons: — The pakoras in the kadhi are a little hard — You can’t get the vindaloo as part of the lunch deal Bottom line: If you’re looking for authentic Indian food(trust me, I’d know), visit Spice Symphony.

My husband and I love Indian food and have it often in various cities. The dishes of this restaurant are high quality. The spice level can be adjusted. Naans /breads are amazing: super fresh. We had the one stuffed with potato whole wheat one and the cheese/onion one. As main courses, we chose chicken tikka masala. It was very good but to me the tomato sauce took over the taste of the other spices and the cream but it was still very good. In Europe, I feel it’s the other way around. For dessert, we had the malai kulfi, it was very creamy but less flavorful than in European Indian restaurants. Service was pretty quick. Waiters very friendly. Dark kinda romantic restaurant. Wine selection good for an Indian restaurant. A few minutes from Empire State Building, Madison /5th avenue. Would love to come back to try other dishes that all seemed amazing and smelled delicious!

We came as a party of 6 to celebrate a birthday. This location can probably only accommodate 2 – 3 large parties — so be sure to make a reservation! Because we were a large party, we did get great service. Our dinner started with samosas, We also ordered roti and garlic naan — they came with the entrees. I’m used to them coming around the same time as the appetizers, so that was a pity. Though it really worked out for the better because I could soak my roti in the juices of the entrees — mmmm. For entrees we ordered: chicken tikka marsala, a fish curry, spinach, and green chicken. They were all fantastic! They also didn’t seem too spicy — thank god. But my bowels disagreed and were upset for a good 24 hours after the fact… Something to keep in mind, especially if Indian doesn’t really agree with you. Pro Tip: If you come in a large party, gratuity tacked on to the bill. PS. Picture was from Seamless a couple months earlier.

#Pretty solid Indian Chinese Restaurant. I don’t understand why there’s #Chinese food on the menu. But I thought the #Indian food was pretty solid. #Dinner ended up getting pretty expensive if you compare it to #lunch time specials. But that goes for pretty much all the Indian restaurants in the #area. Lunch prices are always a better #deal.

Staying in NYC for a few days and I had a craving for Indian food — having moved to Youngstown, OH, I have only one choice for Indian so it was nice to have a big selection on Curry Hill. I picked Spice Symphony for its Unilocal reviews and was glad I did. A small restaurant, they quickly seated me at their last available table instead of sticking me at the bar which is pretty common for single diners in NYC. Being alone, it is always a challenge to get Indian but they had a nice selection of «sides» that are half size servings so I was able to try both the Lamb Rogan Gosh and the Veggie Korma. I got the garlic naan too knowing I would have more than I could eat but the naan at the next table looked so good, I could not resist. The lamb was really good, nicely spicy without being overpowering but I think my favorite was actually the veggie korma. It was not as heavy on cream as some korma and just had a great balance of flavor overall. The naan was as good as it looked too! The owner(I think it was the owner at least) was sad to hear that I was staying at a hotel and could not take my left-overs home. Attentive but not overbearing he was the one that waited on me throughout my meal. Will definitely be back!

I made reservations for a Friday night for around 8:30pm and when I arrived the restaurant was full! It’s a good thing I made those reservations though because waiting for myself and my guests was a booth in the corner, which worked out perfectly for us! The restaurant is tucked away in the heart of Curry Hill below ground level and occupies a small space on Lexington Avenue. It’s very easy to miss, especially with the more noisy and larger Brother Jimmy’s BBQ restaurant directly across the street. I immediately noticed how small the restaurant was, fitting maybe about 20 – 25 guests in one sitting, but it was also a very intimate restaurant. If you decide to dine here at night, reservations are a must since there’s such limited seating. First, the service here was fantastic. Not only were we seated right away, but the waitress was very informative of the dishes when we asked her about the ingredients. She was also very patient with us since we took awhile to decide. Ultimately, we ordered a ton of food with 1 starter, 3 meats and poultry dishes AND a side of garlic naan to boot! About the food: Samosas — Not much to say, except that when they arrived we were already starving! The order came with 3 pieces, which were pretty big and there was enough for each of our table to grab 1. It came with a dipping sauce which was a nice compliment. Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh and Shrimp Moiley — I’m commenting on all 3 as 1 because each of the meat, fish and poultry dishes were delicious! All of us could not find a fault with any of them and they were perfect to mix our basmati rice and naan with. Although if I were to have to choose one as my fave it would definitely be the Shrimp Moiley. The coconut sauce absolutely stood out and was so flavorful and my tablemates agreed! Garlic Naan — I was surprised that for $ 5 the order was so big! They gave us 5 huge pieces in a basket and they were warm and soft. It was perfect for dipping into the sauces and I highly recommend ordering it on the side. Amazing food, service and the intimate setting is perfect for a date or just a dinner night with friends.
