I live In a walk up on the 3rd floor and not only did the delivery guy yell at me for not walking outside to pick up my SEAMLESSLY that I paid to get DELIVERED to my door, he yelled at me after he walked up the flight of stairs and told me their delivery means you have to come downstairs — prior to ordering I had no idea they were this lazy of humans but now I understand/if I order from them u might as well just travel to the deli because they don’t give a fuck about customer service poor guys :(we shall pray for them Lololol

I am giving 4 stars because they are open 24/7, the breakfast service is fast and the Deli prices are on the low side for the neighborhood. The sandwiches are fantastic. Also, it is one of the few Mom & Pop stores left here. They try hard to please.

Their prices are higher than advertised. 6.50 for a 4 dollar sandwich. Sandwich is bad.

Oh you know what sounds like a good idea? Taking money and flushing it down the toilet. Or you can just go to anitas where a 2 liter of seltzer costs $ 4. They might be first place for most expensive bodega in the city! Oh, and their egg and cheese tasted like ass.

Pretty good sandwich. But what they call prosciutto is actually prosciutto cotto which is a cooked/boiled ham. Regular prosciutto is just cured but not cooked. They need to be careful and a little more specific. I was expecting one product and got another.

The have everything you need and you couldn’t ask for a better spot downstairs from your building. They have great bagels.

Worst experience of my life ordering a simple sub. I ordered a Verona(Mozz, pesto, tomato and avocado). What I got was ranch dressing, american cheese with lettuce, no tomato no pesto no mozz and a rotten avocado. I HIGHLYRECOMMENDYOUSTAYAWAY.

I don’t like to post scathing reviews, but this is a rare zero star candidate. I honestly think they just make up prices sometimes at the register, trying to nickel and dime you as much as possible. I would rather go a few blocks away than deal with these crooks. This place has a low rating already for good reason, and I’m perfectly fine in making it even lower.

Closer to an hour for delivery. Completely useless staff on the telephone«too many deliveries» is not a good reason to over promise, and under deliver(pardon the pun). Avoid delivery.

Question: What is in a chicken caesar salad wrap? If you guessed chicken, sauteed peppers and warm lettuce(no cheese, croutons, caesar dressing) and you are ordering from Anita’s, then you are unfortunately correct. The second I got my food I called to tell them they messed up my order, to find out that is what they actually call a caesar salad. Aside from being all hot and bothered over how weird they are, the wrap was a total greaseball. I HIGHLY recommend that you don’t order here(or at least don’t get the caesar salad wrap).

The people that run this place are complete assholes and over charge for everything. I live across the street and walk an extra 2 blocks just to go somewhere else where I know I won’t be ripped off and treated like a piece of crap. PLEASENOONEGOHERE! It should get 0STARS

Pretty standard corner store with a very basic selection of drinks, food, beer and household needs. However, if you need some beer or a bottle of water, it’s a convenient spot and the man behind the counter is very nice. Minus points because no dogs are allowed inside!

I staple deli in the neighborhood for as long as i can remember. The food is cooked to order(even with my strange requests) and their daily homemade turkey is purchased a couple times a week. My coworker gets the tuna salad and said its one of her favorites in the area. Simple and good.

person working is just horrible. 10 dollar minimum so i had enough to just hit the 10 dollar mark, he purposely doesn’t ring one of my items up and then tries to say in order to pay with my credit card again to get 6 more dollars worth of stuff! even though it was his fault that he did not include one of the items! when i said i wasn’t going to come back he did not even seem to care.

This place has decent food and portions, but the people who work here are complete assholes. I had ordered from seamless web, and they still messed up my order, and I had to speak to a guy on the phone who is incomprehensible. When I asked him to ask someone else to call me back for compensation the next day, no one called me back. I called back the next day, and another guy heard me out and hung up on me immediately. Currently in the process of canceling the charge on my debit card. Now I see why they take cash only…

A pretty decent neighborhood deli with the usual things like cases of drinks, chips, ice cream, candy, etc. They have cheap breakfast specials that are passable as edible food(but not by much) and their sandwiches look basic and very much like a last resort. I haven’t been here much, and that’s probably because there’s always somewhere better to go close by. Yeah, now that I think about it, I last stopped in it was because it was 5:30am, I was walking down 31st Street and physically passing by, I was starving, and going to drive out to the sticks. It’s that kinda joint.
