I came into the store thinking above purchasing a new mattress. The extremely friendly and attentive sales person Craig made a convincing argument that I should make purchase seeing that there was absolutely ‘no risk’. He explained the payment plan in detail and explained the return policy was up to 90 days as long as you keep it more than 30 as a trial. I am generally happy with the mattress/base however I wanted to try out a more expensive but slightly less firm mattress in case i liked it more but when going to the store, I speak to a different salesman and he explains I can’t return the base only the mattress. I then realize that Craig straight up lied to me. He NEVER mentioned that the tempurpedic bases were not part of the return policy. I never even wanted the vibrating base in the first place but since there was no risk figured I would try it out. I called and spoke to customer service, they explained to me where I could find the language specifically saying there was no retune on the base. This is shown on the receipt which is what you get after you have already made the purchase. I made it clear this was not okay, the customer service manager then promised to look into it and call me back. Of course, no one ever did. Now they have no record of my original call. Pretty much… they say anything they can to make the sale and then give you the run around after making the purchase.
