Ah Skin Spa, how you never fail me.
Sadly these days Lifebooker doesn’t offer as good of deals for Skin Spa as they used to. Still, I think they’re worth the price of their services. I haven’t been to a Skin Spa location that isn’t properly maintained or run.
I stopped by the UES location today for a quick waxing session. I accidentally scheduled my session on Lifebooker for tomorrow, but I called and the receptionist was nice and changed it for an availability today. The location itself is within a hair salon; you have to walk into the salon and take the inside elevators up to the fourth floor. It’s a little smaller than the other locations I’ve been to, but the quality is by no means diminished. Laura was my aesthetician for today, and she was friendly and thorough with the job. I would definitely recommend this location (and all Skin Spas) to everyone!

I’m so disappointed that Xana is no longer working there. She did my laser treatments and she cares about your skin and is thorough and makes you feel comfortable. I showed up to my last appointment not knowing that Xana no longer worked there. I wasn’t notified, I was given attitude from reception. I can’t wait until my package is done. I don’t have a desire to go back.

My first visit to Skin Spa (Upper East Side) my dear friend Yana highly recommended to me. I had a facial and Laura was amazing. She made my skin glowing. Thank you so much Skin Spa for making me look beautiful for the holidays. The receptionist is super nice and as a first time client she let me know all of the promotions as well. Check it out!

Very disappointed! I always go with Xana for my facials and she is great. She is very detailed and cares about your skin, rather than trying to sell you extra products/​services or rushing your treatments. Today I experience a treatment with Ava, she was great too but receptionist was not so pleasant. After coming to Skin Spa for about 4 years she gave me attitude and wanted to charge me the use of 2 treatments from my package for my service of extractions and a peel for a 50 min service.
I always recommended Skin Spa because of Xana’s great service but she is no longer at Skin Spa.

I received a facial here by Eva. She did an AMAZING job! She was extremely thorough and listened to all of my concerns.
I had a microdermabrasion added and she asked throughout the treatment if the intensity was okay, because I told her I had sensitive skin and might feel some discomfort. However, this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. She made recommendations for future visits. My skin looks great already and I will definitely return to Eva.
P. S. I like this location better than the fashion district location. Sometimes sketchy people hang outside the fashion district location which makes me really nervous. I felt much more at ease walking alone to this location.

Average experience, unpleasant front desk staff. First, they were trying to refuse accepting my Goupon voucher, took some work to get them to accept it.
Secondly, didn’t like how they pushed for tips for the service. More than optional appeared mandatory.

I bought a Groupon for 3 facials on Groupon and wasn’t sure which type of facial I needed. Yelena did my facial and was very nice. She explained the different facials and helped me to choose the right one.
The desk staff was ok.
The place is nice and used to be professional in the past. The technicians are very good but honestly the attitude of the receptionist is a shame. She is so rude!
