The horses giving carriage rides in the park eat better than this! Service is bad… Really bad. They seemed aloof and moved slow. The food is not good. They will give you fries instead of Hash Browns. However, the fries are actually the best part. Mainly because the rest of the plate is full of canned, bagged, jarred, or just generally premade crap. Prices are high, and food is bad. This place is all about tourist $$$ and not about repeat business.
You have been warned. Eat here at your own risk!

Trust me on this one: DO NOT GO HERE. The giant roach climbing up the wall near our table told me to tell you that as well.

Fairly Attentive and friendly service, decent coffee, and some fantastic pancakes. That sums up this place. A decent diner spot if you just want a quick no frills breakfast.

This place was horrible. We came in here because I was crashing and I needed something to eat before I passed out.
We came in and there wasn’t more than at least 5 people in here and still the service was dead slow. Even if the waiters were snails dragging boulders would provide faster service than this place.
Looked at the menu and nothing entirely was vegetarian except for a small amount of options.
I got the grilled cheese with tomatoes and my boyfriend got the ruben. The grilled cheese was sub-​par and it came ala carte, so I had to order onion rings separately.
The ruben was really dry on super hard bread with no dressing.
It then took forever just to get the check and we shot the hell out of there. Not coming here again.

I finally found a café or eatery that serves breakfast after 12pm that is NOT diner quality, but slightly a step above diner. I came here at 12:30pm in hopes of my usual favorite breakfast sandwich of ham and scrambled egg on a roll which is usually freshly prepared on a grill while I wait. The roll is somewhat small in size and the egg and ham are also on the small side for $ 4.50, which did not tie me until my late lunch at 4pm for the late night shift.
Service was somewhat attentive yet efficent, but not client friendly. The décor is very dated as it screams Mom and Pop old school. The floors belongs to the land of gross/​nasty as I was glad I did not eat-​in.

I ate here with a buddy of mine from work on our lunch break. The food was ok, standard diner-​type food. The service was also up to par with an average diner. The reason for the 2 stars is that when we got our bill I saw that our 2 cans of soda cost $ 2.25 each. This pricing must be to get the tourists. Granted, everything in Manhattan tends to be more expensive, but paying more than $ 1.00 for a can of soda anywhere is just ridiculous!

I hate bashing a mom and pop kinda café, but the food here was pretty terrible. it’s possible that the breakfast is good, but my boyfriend and I got lunch. He got beef barley soup that didnt have one bit of beef in it, and a grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was so dry that it definately wasn’t worth the high price of the sandwich. I got a turkey sandwich that was also very disappointing. It certainly wasnt worth it.
