Sins & Needles Tattoo

Great atmosphere at the shop. Val’s done a couple of my tattoos and i love em all, he’s a very talented artist with great ideas and a complete gentlemen to top it off. I highly recommend it.

The way this shop is set up caught my attention, it’s so well put together and the vibe of just walking in is really chill. Unlike other tattoo and piercing shops in the village that can be rude or snobby, the staff here are not only professional at what they do but there customer service is amazing. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming, I love the art that’s displayed in the store not to mention the cute skull table. I came here for a tattoo in Arabic and all tho the artist who I believe his name is Anthony, well he wasn’t familiar with Arabic but he went out his way to create the tattoo I wanted. And I am very satisfied, I will definitely highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality work by professional artist.

Lenin Rios has done it again! I have followed this talented artist from a parlor in the Bronx to another in the Village and now to the latest spot where he has landed, the fresh and shiny Sins & Needles. Lenin has done several of my tattoos, the most recent within the walls of this pristine tattoo shop in the heart of the Village. Everything about this place screams quality– from the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, to the cleanliness and welcoming environment of the facility to the overall, generally pleasing aesthetics. I would have followed Lenin just about anywhere to get my latest tattoos (yes, I’m a stalker where his work is concerned ;) but I am glad that he is working out of so classy an establishment that is obviously worthy of his talent. What a perfect match! I will definitely be returning :)

They produce high quality works of Art and make your dreams and visions become a reality on your body. Excellent shop and one of those special places that enhances New York City. This shop is well run and very organized.

I came here to purchase a small earring and have the piercer put it in my ear. It was a seamless gold hoop. My piercing was done over a year ago and was healed I just had trouble putting in the small piercing myself. The piercer pressed so hard on his tools that he pulled my hole so hard it felt like I was getting a piercing. I asked if everything was ok and he said yes. He showed me the earring on me on the mirror and it looked fine. When I got on the train I felt that it wasn’t smooth. When I got home I saw the earring was not only not seamless it was also bent. I couldn’t take it off myself and by morning it was completely infected and swollen because the sharp point kept sliding in my ear. Do not go to the piercer who is there mon-​fri. He does not know what he is doing. Worst part is that he knew he messed up my earring bad didn’t tell me.

Sins & Needles brings life back to the West Village’s 6^th Avenue. Newly renovated and completely revamped, the shop stands out as a pleasant surprise in the middle of the diamond in the rough that is West 4^th Street. The location is a clean, open and inviting space, there is an extensive variety of jewelries, and the staff are A-​1 — absolutely astounding!
My friend and I stalked the streets of the East Village all of the way across to the Westside to pay Sins & Needles a visit, and we must’ve left no less than 3 hours later. Everyone there is super-​friendly and approachable, making the overall experience Top Notch.
And, Sydney! SYDNEY! Sydney couldn’t’ve been any better! She is wonderfully patient, harmoniously calm, plenty knowledgeable and clearly a seasoned piercer. Sydney assuaged ALL of our reservations, was perfect company, exceptionally professional and über accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone, from grasshopper to sensei!
The only regret I have about visiting Sins & Needles tonight was not leaving a bigger tip. I will most certainly be back. The service was above par!
