I’m a resident in a studio apartment here while I’m assigned to a project in NYC, and so far, so good. The apartments are relatively spacious for midtown Manhattan, and the provided furnishings are sleek/modern and well-maintained. The kitchen is functional, if not perfect — you only get a half refrigerator(in a studio, anyway, not sure if there are full fridges in 1+ bedroom units), although the freezer portion is pretty good. Electric stovetop with a pretty decently sized sink. Appliances, including dishwasher, look brand new, and they provide 4 full place settings as well as pots, pans, knives, and a tiny cutting board(but it was brand new, still in the plastic wrap, so bonus points for thinking ahead that I wouldn’t want to use someone else’s!). My apartment contains one closet which is used not only for my clothes, but also the vacuum, cleaning supplies, safe, the provided laundry basket, and all that. There were a handful of hangers already in the closet when I arrived. There’s plenty of dresser/drawer space though — a full-sized dresser and the TV stand thingy also has pretty big drawers in it. Unit has a pretty nice flatscreen TV with Verizon FIOS and wifi that’s just for my unit, which is great. The couch is nice enough and pretty long(I’m 5’4″ and I can lay all the way down on it with some room to spare) in case I have a guest. My bathroom doesn’t have a tub — just a stand-up shower, but it’s pretty spacious considering… well, Manhattan. Sink is a little annoying because it’s really shallow, but there’s plenty of shelf space behind the mirrors. The 24-hour front desk is pretty helpful and friendly enough — there’s a dedicated corporate lobby so be sure to go to the right one. Sunac Natural Foods, which is on the ground floor of the building, is open 24⁄7 and offers ready-made food in addition to groceries and other assorted items, so it’s convenient even if it is quite expensive. There’s a 7⁄11 across the street, a CVS a block(well, an avenue block) away, and a liquor store up a block or two, so it’s relatively conveniently located. There’s an M42 crosstown bus stop across the street too if you don’t want to walk the 3 – 4 looong avenue blocks to the Times Square subway station. They offer a shuttle, but I haven’t used it yet, and there’s also an in-building gym with a pool, as well as a rooftop lounge, none of which I’ve had the chance to use. Not sure if housekeeping is standard, but my company’s contract with them gets us once-a-week housekeeping, which has been excellent so far. There are only two major drawbacks of this place, neither of which are their fault, per se. First, that the nearest subway is Times Square — it’s always crowded, mostly with clueless tourists. But, the building itself is far enough away from TSQ that you don’t have to deal with tourists around all the time, UNLESS you are going to the subway. Second is the street noise; the«Residence» apartments, which are the furnished/corporate housing apartments, only go up to floor 7 or 8, so you’re relatively close to street level — compared to the 40th floor, anyway. But I sleep like a rock, so it doesn’t bother me much. :)

Nice apartments with a lot of street noise which is to be expected from Manhattan, even the higher floors could hear the sirens. fantastic location for midtown and exploring Manhattan. Front doors are not very noise proof and that would be the main downfall of this otherwise pleasant block. if you are sensetive to noise then stay away, if you dont mind wearing earplugs, its fantastic.
